What you'll be doing:

The Director of Fundraising is a senior, strategic leadership role responsible for driving significant and sustainable growth in income for MQ, with a target of achieving £10 million annual turnover over the next five years.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the postholder will set and deliver an ambitious, data-led fundraising strategy across philanthropy, trusts and foundations, partnerships and other income streams. They will personally steward high-value relationships while building a high-performing, commercially minded fundraising function capable of supporting MQ’s long-term mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Income Growth

• Develop and deliver MQ’s overall fundraising and income generation strategy, aligned to organisational priorities
• Set clear income targets and KPIs across all fundraising streams
• Personally lead and secure six- and seven-figure gifts, grants and contracts
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major donors, funders and partners
• Ensure excellent stewardship, reporting and donor experience across all income streams

Pipeline, Performance & Data Oversight

• Provide strategic oversight of the fundraising pipeline, ensuring a healthy balance of prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
• Use data, insight and CRM reporting to track performance, forecast income and manage risk
• Identify income concentration risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Drive continuous improvement in fundraising processes, systems and ways of working

Financial Management & Reporting

• Own the Fundraising budget, including income forecasting, expenditure control and cost-of-fundraising oversight
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate income phasing, reporting and financial planning
• Produce regular reports for the CEO, Executive Team and Board on income performance, pipeline health and risks
• Ensure all funding is managed in line with grant conditions, donor expectations and regulatory requirements

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide strategic leadership and line management to the team
• Build, develop and retain a high-performing, motivated fundraising team
• Foster a collaborative, ambitious and accountable fundraising culture
• Support succession planning and talent development within the Fundraising function

External Profile, Partnerships & Thought Leadership

• Represent MQ at high-level events, conferences and networking opportunities
• Strengthen MQ’s profile with funders, corporates, policymakers and partners
• Work closely with the Board and Science Council to maximise fundraising and partnership opportunities
• Undertake speaking engagements where appropriate to generate visibility & awareness

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Audit Data Analyst to join our Research and Quality Improvement Directorate, which promotes evidence-based practice and improves health outcomes for children. Reporting to the Project Manager (Audits), you will manage complex healthcare datasets, lead on data analysis using R/R Studio, and produce high-quality outputs for clinicians, commissioners, and policy makers. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, reproducible analytical pipelines and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the audit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing secure handling and analysis of complex audit datasets, ensuring compliance with data governance and protection requirements.

Job Title: Schools Engagement Coordinator (Inspiring the Future)

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the role of Schools Engagement Coordinator for Education and Employers on the internationally recognised Inspiring the Future programme. Reporting to the Head of Schools Programmes, the Schools Engagement Coordinator is responsible for working closely with school staff in promoting and empowering schools to utilise Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures, alongside delivering virtual activities for schools. • Supporting new teacher registrants with onboarding processes such as welcome emails, platform demonstrations, info webinars

• In collaboration with rest of team, identifying need for and developing new resources and guidance to meet teacher needs and support them to make the most of our offers
• In collaboration with rest of team, developing and implementing new processes and technical improvements, to support increased school engagement.

Project Delivery:

• Recruiting and engaging schools according to the geographic or sector focus of a funded project
• Managing relationships with a case load of schools in different areas of the country to host planning calls, deliver sessions, gather evaluation data and ensure a legacy of independent usage
• Setting up virtual and face-to-face activities including school liaison, securing volunteers, test calls, setting up on the Inspiring the Future system and hosting on tech platforms e.g. Zoom
• Facilitating virtual and face to face activities to pupils to link with volunteers, hosting and designing themed sessions online to ensure an interactive and engaging experience for children and volunteers, following a Q&A or job guessing-game format.
• Supporting and co-hosting sessions to teachers including teacher training, staff meetings and info webinars to promote Inspiring the Future, deepen engagement and demonstrate independent usage

About the role:

Lead the Scheme Oversight function to ensure the Motability Scheme consistently delivers choice, value for money and excellent customer service for disabled people. The role includes setting the Oversight strategy, developing the Scheme’s performance management framework, reporting on performance to internal/external parties and assisting/managing key stakeholder relationships across Motability Foundation, Motability Operations and Government departments.

The NSPCC’s purpose is to prevent the abuse and neglect of children across the UK.

The Strategy and Knowledge (S&K) Directorate exists to help shape the world around us - and what the NSPCC does - so that it reflects what we have learned and can help keep children safe from abuse.

The Directorate is responsible for organisational strategy, developing and influencing public policy, championing an evidence-based approach in all our work, developing innovative services and managing our knowledge and information.

This role within our Policy and Public Affairs team will assist in delivering our influencing campaigns asking for public support to persuade government to change laws and policies to better protect children and young people. This exciting role will play a pivotal part supporting the team’s work so we are able to deliver large-scale, impactful campaigns in support of the NSPCC’s policy priorities and our organisational strategy.

Job purpose

This role will support the planning, delivery and evaluation of the NSPCC’s campaigns to mobilise the public behind our influencing goals and galvanise decision makers to act. The postholder will:

• Support the development of our influencing campaigns to inspire new and existing supporters to take action to keep children safe - including through research to inform the planning of campaigns and the creation and dissemination of impactful communications such as emails, social posts and supporter actions.

• Assist the Influencing Campaigns team to manage and develop the campaigns database so it can grow to build a strong, active network of supporters helping us influence change.

• Support the team’s work to ensure the insights and voices of children, young people and those with lived experience are embedded in the design and delivery of our influencing campaigns

Main duties and responsibilities

Supporting the Influencing Campaigns team day-to-day

o Managing the campaigns inbox and responding to supporters
o Assisting the Influencing Campaigns team by attending meetings with stakeholders (across the NSPCC and beyond)
o Monitoring and evaluating campaigns activity at NSPCC
o Tracking and evaluating campaigns “best practice” in other organisations (to enable competitor analysis)

Development of NSPCC influencing campaigns

o Supporting background research for the development of influencing campaigns o Assisting with planning and designing content across owned, earned, and organic channels

Person specification

1. Experience of supporting the successful delivery of influencing campaigns that have had an impact in changing laws and policies

2. Good understanding of the political landscape and policy making processes across the UK

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills including an ability to analyse, respond to and present complex information in clear, accurate and persuasive ways for a wide range of audiences

4. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to organise and plan own work and the work of others to deliver objectives on time

5. Understanding of how to measure campaigning actions and optimise delivery of campaigns

6. Demonstrable ability to establish, nurture and maintain effective relationships and collaborative work with a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders

7. Experience of working with children and young people and/or those with lived experience as part of the delivery of influencing campaigns

8. Experience of working with media and social media teams to help create communications which support campaigning work

Content Designer, Digital Team.

4 Fixed-term contract roles: 2 contracts of 23 months, 2 contracts of 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to join The National Lottery Community Fund as a Content Designer.

You’ll mostly work on content to help people understand and apply for funding. This includes content for our website, as well as for application forms, emails and other guidance. You’ll also have the opportunity to help improve our content and user experience across the whole service.

In this new role, you’ll help secure funding that enables us to support our Diocesan Fundraising Operations for current and future endeavours! You’ll be responsible for researching, writing and submitting high-quality grant applications, as well as nurturing relationships with existing and new grant funders. Your work will directly support the sustainability and growth of our diocese for the next generation.

From creating persuasive funding proposals to managing reporting and impact updates, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our funders see the difference their support makes across the Diocese of Salford. Working closely with colleagues within the team and across the diocese, you’ll coordinate information, track deadlines, and ensure funding is managed in line with funder requirements and best practice.

Main Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser to secure major gifts for capital and revenue projects, (predominantly trusts, grants and foundations but this could also include major donor and corporate gifts.)
• Create a trust and foundation funding plan for each fundraising target.
• Prepare and submit compelling and persuasive grant applications for each plan.
• Manage and fulfil grant reports and feedback for each live grant.
• Build a pipeline of potential funding opportunities from trusts and foundations.
• Ensure a database of funders and grant applications is created and maintained.
• Research and analysis to identify funding opportunities with trusts and foundation to develop future plans.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and the Individual Gifts Officer to set up a new CMS and explore and develop other fundraising income streams.
• Create support documents for parishes to enable them to proactively apply for small grants including National Lottery’s ‘Awards for All’ scheme.
• Research and keep abreast of industry activity and trends.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required.
