On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
2. Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
3. Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
4. Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
5. Provide digital comms support to our spokespeople and allied organisations
6. Working with a digital crisis comms support service - helping spokespeople skill up in countering misinformation and disinformation, and stepping in with tailored support for spokespeople receiving hate online
7. Give regular insight to our partners on digital trends, changes to the media landscape and shifts in the ways digital content is shaping public opinion
8. Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub, attending and feeding into key messaging and narrative development and supporting the Co-Directors with overall strategy
9. Monthly oversight and control over the Spokesperson Network finances
10. Fundraising and evaluation for the Hub’s ongoing needs
11. Play an active part in the wider NEON team

1. A track record of creating or managing innovative projects and bringing ideas to fruition, which push forward a progressive agenda.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Public Affairs Manager to take lead responsibility for managing the Woodland Trust. Northern Ireland’s (WTNI) relationship with the NI Executive , Government, relevant statutory agencies, and key NI, ROI and UK political audiences; to advocate and campaign for changes in legislation, policies, incentives, strategies and plans which reflect the Trust’s priorities in NI and the Island of Ireland; and to lead on local development plan consultations and the Trust’s relationship with local councils and the wider eNGO sector.

The Role:
• In the context of our Corporate Strategy, UK policies and position statements and Northern Ireland Plan, to define our Northern Ireland Public Affairs and campaigning goals and to develop and manage a prioritised programme of policy and advocacy work to achieve them.
• Provide technical and expert support, advice, and briefings to the Northern Ireland Director, and other colleagues where relevant, on policy and advocacy matters and enable them to be effective policy advocates. 
• Lead Public Affairs in the Northern Ireland team, and any consultants as appropriate, providing clarity of direction, inspiring our staff and building capabilities and skills, upholding and actively promoting the values and behaviours of the Trust.
• Oversee, and where relevant lead, the development and management of relationships with NI Government including Ministers, MLAs, researchers, advisors and civil servants, as well as local government, statutory bodies and other influential organisations across farming, forestry and business in line with the NI Public Affairs plan.
• Represent the Trust and our policy and advocacy priorities externally, including negotiating consensus positions within external coalitions including NI Environment Link, with key stakeholders and potential partners.
• Actively monitor, gather intelligence, understand and analyse relevant areas of NI policy and politics, acting on key opportunities. Evaluate future threats and opportunities facing the Trust’s cause in NI, brief colleagues and steer our advocacy messaging accordingly.
• Work closely with other teams and departments, especially Comms & Engagement, UK Campaigns and Conservation and External Affairs, to coordinate and integrate political advocacy and campaigning messages with the Trust’s wider communications and influencing strategies and plans.

The Candidate:
• You’ll be experienced in building strong relationships and have a proven record of delivery in partnership with local councils.

• You’ll need strong communication skills through both written and oral, as well as research and analytical skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant areas or proven extensive experience.

About the Role

As a Brent YPT Mental Health Youth Worker, you will play a key part in delivering evidence‑based interventions, including mentoring, resilience‑building, and self‑esteem programmes. You’ll be working at the heart of a collaborative multi‑agency system—partnering with CNWL CAMHS and local services to ensure CYP receive the right support at the right time. What You’ll Do - Deliver structured interventions that build resilience, emotional wellbeing, and self‑esteem. - Support CYP in navigating and accessing appropriate services following triage. - Work closely with CAMHS and other partners, contributing to triage discussions and multi‑agency panels. - Facilitate youth peer‑support groups and wellbeing circles covering topics like stress, bullying, school pressures, and emotional wellbeing. - Offer information, guidance, and signposting to digital wellbeing tools, local services, and parent/carer resources. - Provide parents/carers with access to workshops, coaching, and practical tools to support emotional wellbeing at home. - Collect and share anonymised data to support service evaluation and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an inspiring Service Manager to lead our supported accommodation for young people in South Manchester. You’ll oversee a skilled team delivering safe, high‑quality support to clients—helping them stabilise, build independence and progress confidently through the Manchester pathway. You will work closely with local authorities, community staff, financial appointees and the finance department to maintain accurate financial records, improve collection rates, and support cash flow management. 

This role requires strong credit control and bookkeeping expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex accounts.

Key essential criteria:

• Experience working within Credit Control in the Charity or Private sector.
• Relevant qualifications – Part qualified, CIMA, ACCA, AAT or qualified by experience.
• High level of competence in MS Office, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in credit control, bookkeeping, or finance roles.
