Responsibilities of our Surveyor: 

- Manage a designated portfolio of properties, delivering repairs and maintenance as required- Be a property expert for colleagues across the estate giving high levels of service and support.Working with colleagues in Estates Support; Safety, Health and Environment; and Legal teams, provide a safe and compliant environment across the estate. 

- Oversee property works in alignment with retail and operations managers within agreed SLAs 

- Assess property issues and take appropriate action 

- Maintain accurate records across estate/FM databases and cloud-based systems

- Provide advice on retail/commercial lease acquisitions and disposals 

- Liaise with agents, landlords, neighboring occupiers, solicitors and local authorities 

- Procure and manage contractors, ensuring they are vetted and all work meets H&S legislation 

- Regional reporting to support the Principal Surveyor and the Head of Estates & Construction with the wider management of the estate 

About the Estates and Construction team: 

The Estates and Construction team manage a wide-ranging and diverse portfolio that reflects the breadth of the estate. Within the region covered, the portfolio includes purpose-built cat adoption and homing centres (both freehold and leasehold), a network of leasehold charity shops, multi-pen sites, and a small number of residential properties occupied by employees or external tenants. Occasionally, surveying expertise is also required for matters relating to legacy properties. 

What we’re looking for in our Surveyor: 

- Regional coverage is flexible, however we are looking to support the East of England, Midlands and South Yorkshire

- Level 6 or higher professional surveying qualification

- Current membership of a professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB, IWFM 

- Post qualification experience of surveying in a property or facilities management environment 

- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

- Working Knowledge of retail leases, acquisitions and disposals 

- Multi-site and use property management and compliance experience 

- Experience of working on and managing small building or maintenance projects up to £500k 

- Ability to work within a small team and externally with professionals and third parties

About the Service and the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) to manage the daily operations of our Blended Teams functions.

This includes managing a core team of workers in a diverse range of projects and services often in partnership with the NHS and other VCSE and community groups. The role will involve multi-agency working and ensuring the continuous development of our services to ensure that they meet the needs of the community and blended team outcomes.

Ideally, you will be required to have knowledge of managing remote teams who may be imbedded in NHS services and the ideal candidate would have the skills to support staff with the complex challenges that come with blended working as well as maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be required to hold your own caseload, supporting the teams with more complex service users and cover gaps in services.

Key Responsibilities and Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s and blended team model and contract requirements.
• Work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) and senior managers to ensure the management of an effective workforce including recruitment and performance management challenges

• Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks.

About the role

The Senior Legacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s legacy programme, ensuring legacy giving is embedded across fundraising and marketing activity and is front of mind across the organisation.

This role is responsible for managing our legacy marketing programme, working closely with the marketing team to deliver compelling, sensitive and effective activity. The postholder will also oversee our outsourced legacy administration partner, ensuring legacy gifts are processed efficiently, compliantly and in line with best practice, through regular performance monitoring and review.

Working across the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, the Senior Legacy Manager will champion legacies as a vital form of support, collaborating closely with all teams in the directorate. This will include working with the major donor team to identify and develop high-value legacy opportunities and supporting the community engagement team to integrate in-memory and legacy messaging into the community talks programme and engagement activity within the community.

The role also plays a key part in connecting our legacy and in-memory programmes, working with the community engagement team and the Deputy Director to develop a joined up in-memory strategy that ensures a coherent and compassionate supporter experience.

About the person

You’ll be an experienced and confident legacy fundraising professional with a passion for building long-term impact. You’ll be a strong collaborator who can influence across teams and seniority levels, and a persuasive advocate for the importance of legacy giving. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands on delivery, ensuring legacy activity is well planned, insight led and supporter centred. Comfortable working across disciplines and a self-starter, you’ll play a key role in embedding a culture of legacies across London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

The Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising is a senior role in the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, working alongside the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to drive activities after a significant and sustained investment in this area by the organisation.
The role will lead on the delivery of a multi-channel legacy marketing programme and championing legacy giving across the organisation. Hosted within the Starting Point team, this role focuses on supporting individuals who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness and are ready to take steps toward a more secure and connected future.

This is a varied, hands-on, and deeply rewarding role for someone who is self-motivated, compassionate, and passionate about making real change in people’s lives.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic about working in the homelessness sector and committed to helping people overcome complex life challenges. You will support a group of individuals facing multiple disadvantages including homelessness, substance misuse, mental and physical health issues, trauma, and possible involvement with the criminal justice system.

You’ll work closely with the Lived Experience Team, under the guidance of the Team Leader, and offer engaging activities designed to build confidence, skills, and lasting connections.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide consistent, sustained support to help individuals engage with relevant services.

· Develop and update support plans that track progress, activities, and outcomes.

· Organise and deliver meaningful, fun, and skills-based group activities (e.g. cooking, art, music, fitness, photography).

· Signpost to external support groups and services, such as Andy’s Man Club, where appropriate.

· Foster partnerships with voluntary and statutory services to ensure cohesive support.

· Regularly identify and address barriers to progress, working collaboratively with each individual.

· Work confidently and professionally with individuals in crisis, managing risk and seeking appropriate support when                needed.

· Collaborate within the Lived Experience Team to share responsibilities and support team goals.

· Build relationships with faith groups, including Doncaster Minster (if possible), to secure space or volunteers for client-          focused activities.

Wider Community Impact

A key element of this role involves working alongside the faith sector to bridge the gap in understanding around homelessness, addiction, and mental health. Through these partnerships, we aim to build inclusive, compassionate spaces within Doncaster’s communities where individuals feel welcome, safe, and supported.

By creating a network of faith-based and community organisations willing to host or support activities, we will give clients more opportunities to integrate into the wider community and build a lasting sense of belonging.

About the Role & Organisation

This role is employed by Church Urban Fund (CUF) and will be managed remotely. While you will be based with the Starting Point  team in Doncaster City Centre, your work will also take place in the community and, occasionally, from home. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Our Second Home (OSH) is the UK’s youth movement for people with refugee backgrounds. We support young people to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place they call home.

Each year, hundreds of young people from dozens of countries and living in London & Bristol take part in our residential programmes, leadership training and youth hubs. Our residentials are often the first step – immersive, relationship-rich spaces where young people connect, reflect and begin to see themselves as leaders. From there, many move into leadership training and take on volunteer roles within the movement.

Our work is youth-led and rooted in lived experience. We are now implementing our 2025–2028 strategy, focused on strengthening quality, embedding learning and ensuring our growth is sustainable and safe.

The Head of Programmes is a senior leadership role, reporting to the CEO and managing two senior colleagues. You will hold responsibility for the quality, coherence and safeguarding of all programme activity.

Responsibilities (abridged - see attached job description)

Programme Leadership & Strategy in Practice

• Lead implementation of OSH’s 2025–2028 programme strategy.

• Oversee the design, quality and coherence of residentials, leadership training and hubs.

• Take operational responsibility for residential delivery, including participant referrals, recruitment of staff and freelancers, programme content and educational standards.

• Attend and lead approximately five residential programmes per year.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen youth engagement and leadership pathways as the organisation scales.

• Ensure programme data is accurately recorded and used to improve delivery.

Team Leadership

• Line manage the Communities Manager and Leadership & Volunteering Manager.

• Provide structured supervision, clear objectives and professional development support.

• Ensure strong coordination between hubs, residentials and leadership pathways.

• Build a culture of accountability, reflection and continuous improvement.

Safeguarding & Welfare

• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and serve as DSL at events as required.

• Ensure safeguarding practice is robust, consistent and embedded across all activities.

• Respond to safeguarding and behavioural issues appropriately and oversee safe recruitment processes.

Partnerships, Budget & Oversight

• Maintain referral partnerships and represent OSH externally where appropriate.

• Hold programme budgets within agreed limits and ensure financial discipline.

• Embed monitoring, evaluation and reflective practice across the programme team.

Experience & Competencies (abridged - see attached job description)

Essential

• At least 5 years’ experience in youth or youth-centred programming, including residential or intensive settings.

• Experience designing and delivering leadership development or informal education programmes.

• Strong facilitation and training skills.

• Demonstrable experience managing staff and developing teams.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding practice and willingness to act as Deputy DSL.

• Experience working with young people from refugee or asylum-seeking backgrounds, or strong understanding of the issues affecting them.

• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery in a part-time senior leadership role.

• Strong organisational skills and commitment to inclusive, youth-led practice.

Desirable

• Level 3 Safeguarding training.

• Experience managing programme budgets.

• Experience contributing to organisational strategy or scaling programme models.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Beacon CRM, MyConcern or similar systems.

• Lived experience of migration or displacement.

At Advocacy in Greenwich, we work to make sure that people with learning disabilities are empowered to fully participate in the wider community. We also work with local communities and our members to challenge common assumptions or biases about those with learning disabilities which impact their experience of living and working in the Borough.

We provide independent one-to-one, short- and long-term advocacy, facilitate self-advocacy groups, offer workshops and provide accessible consultations. As part of our commitment to supporting people who use our services, we empower people to become confident self-advocates, taking on leadership roles in our organisation and in other decision-making forums.

Job purpose

To champion the vision and mission of Advocacy In Greenwich (AIG) by building strong partnerships with community organisations and local authorities; and by developing and delivering impactful initatives for people with learning disabilities and autism.  The role creates opportunities for meanfingful engagement, ensures services are inclusive and accessible, and upholds the highest standards of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in line with national best practice.

Strategic Oversight

• Lead the development and delivery of Advocacy In Greenwich’s strategy in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, staff, consultants (including those with lived experience), beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
• Implement the Charity Excellence Framework to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a supportive and innovative working environment where all employees are encouraged to contribute ideas for AiG’s growth.
• Build and maintain strong networks with local authorities, healthcare professionals, funders, and partner organisations (including neighbouring CEOs and leadership teams) to share best practice, coordinate initiatives, and advance opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism.

• Work with the Chair to develop and deliver an effective induction programme, ensuring trustees understand their roles and responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation of the Annual Report and statutory accounts.
• Lead the development, monitoring, and implementation of the charity’s Risk Register, ensuring risks to AiG and its beneficiaries are minimised.
• Take lead responsibility for safeguarding across the organisation.
• Ensure all staff, volunteers, consultants, and trustees have access to training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Personal Development

• Engage in regular supervision to support your own professional growth and reflective practice, ensuring the continued quality and stability of the organisation’s services.
• Provide regular supervision and conduct staff appraisals, supporting staff wellbeing, performance, and professional development across the team.

As our new Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be doing exactly that. You will drive the recruitment operations for placements for both UK and overseas staff, leading the team and taking ownership and responsibility to execute a best-in-class candidate experience. 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead recruitment for us in support of our strategic goals in this area, partnering with hiring managers and offering innovative and creative advice and solutions on how to attract and recruit the best talent available. This is a managerial role that requires strong decision making and the ability to drive the department forward progressively, but still very much a position where you will be expected roll your sleeves up and take a hands-on approach to deliver first-rate talent for the organisation, and experience for our candidates. You will oversee all recruitment activity passing through the UK office, owning our ATS and line managing the Talent Acquisition Officer.

1. Talent Acquisition Strategy 

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the talent acquisition strategy, with a strategic focus on digital optimisation, to ensure improving placements for both UK and overseas roles. 

• Oversee and deliver all employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaigns including hiring events to drive candidate engagement and boost our employer brand. 

• Build diverse candidate pools, and create initiatives to attract and retain diverse talent. 

• Develop and analyse our recruitment metrics, and use your knowledge, market insights, numbers and analysis to continually refine and improve the talent acquisition process using a data-led approach. 

• Offer a clear, supportive and innovative voice in interactions with international colleagues to streamline processes and ensure seamless, effective collaboration.

• Use creative and innovative approaches to continue to reach new candidate audiences in a narrow field. 

• Continuously review our process to drive improvements and change, especially through the use of emergent technologies. 

• Work closely with colleagues in our youth outreach programme ‘Co-Pilot’ to develop, maximise and harmonise our approach in bringing a younger demographic into our talent pools, incorporating this relationship into our strategy. 

2. Transactional Recruitment Management 

• Create and deliver an annual international recruitment action and promotional plan 
• Work in close collaboration with our marketing team in the promotion and delivery of recruitment advertising including online/offline and social media campaigns and analysing results to inform planning and performance improvements. Ensure that the recruitment message remains central throughout our range of communications activities and that our voice is clear, compelling and interactsand synergizes seamlessly with our existing central campaign operations 

• Monitoring, reviewing, and developing the recruitment pages on our website to maximize engagement

• Being responsible for the discernment and wisdom required to undertake spiritual personal and assessments, refining a clear and robust framework to ensure a fair and consistent candidate experience. 

• Overseeing the development and maintenance of physical resources for overseas recruitment 

• Representing MAF throughout the year at festivals and other events within the UK as a passionate and compelling advocate 

• Initiating high quality recruitment events in various forums throughout the year, focusing on producing a clear ROI 

• Leading in the development of the Online Recruitment Journey 

• Leading in the recruitment of UK roles

• Training and supporting UK managers with hiring responsibilities in effective recruitment techniques and selection processes, ensuring that colleagues are coached and upskilled to sufficiently assist in the delivery of an efficient campaign.

• Review the workflow of the recruitment process to ensure that the workload requirement for managers supporting the process is mitigated and manageable, whilst maintaining their engagement in the process. 

• Work with the UK and International HR Managers to support a seamless onboarding process for all joiners 

3. Overseeing our selection processes to ensure the progression of suitably skilled applicants who meet our faith, vision, and values criteria 

• Designing and implementing robust, efficient, and personable selection processes that deliver an excellent candidate experience 
• Overseeing MAF UK’s assessment processes and assisting with interviews where required 

• Liaising with MAF International (MAFI) to discuss candidates’ potential fit for overseas roles 

• Managing our use of UK psychometric assessment 

4. Envisioning and delivering new initiatives to attract and build our talent pipeline 

• Overseeing and driving proactive digital acquisition using LinkedIn and other platforms 
• Working with other teams to design and deliver creative, engaging, and high-quality recruitment campaigns and promotional initiatives 

• Raising awareness and leveraging team support for recruitment initiatives

• Establishing, developing, and sustaining collaborative relationships with key external bodies e.g., Christian bodies within the aviation industry, armed forces, and universities

• Selecting, training, and managing a network of volunteer recruitment champions, increasing the scale of our capacity to support at events and build a greater presence in the community specifically from a recruitment perspective 

• Designing and implementing approaches to encourage greater diversity with applicants 

• Demonstrating a data-led approach, monitoring recruitment statistics and measures to inform decision making, identify issues and prepare management information reports. 

5. Partnership 

• Building strong relationships with the MAFI recruitment team and proactively sharing resources, experience, and expertise with Engagement Units 
• Member of the MAFI Recruitment Steering Group 

• Establishing or contributing to recruitment learning circles with other Engagement Units 

• Support efforts to integrate into one global entity from a recruitment perspective 

• Contribute to the launch and maintenance of the Mission Aviation Academy, to continue to enhance our employer brand around our training schemes and ensure a sustainable funding pipeline for them for the future 

6. Management  

• Overall management of the relationship portfolios and specific management of ‘Premium’ enquirers portfolio 

• Line manage, coach, develop and champion the Talent Acquisition Officer 

• Participating in MAF UK organisation development initiatives and policy review 

• Managing own time effectively to maximize organisational benefit 

• Lead on the overall management and administration of the Applicant Tracking System 

7. Legal, finance and professional 

• Maintaining a high level of legal awareness and ensuring our legal obligations are maintained throughout the recruitment process 
• Preparing and managing the recruitment budget

8. Travel 

• This role will involve some travel within the United Kingdom, particularly around the events season.

Salary:£48,500

Terms: 

Hours: As a senior appointment at least 36 hours per week but in addition those required to achieve the agreed responsibilities, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. 

Flexibility will be required for working additional hours and travel to meet business needs or for travel or meetings on weekends or evenings.

This role involves some unsocial hours, weekend work and travel within the UK 

Leave:Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year plus eight paid public holidays per year.
