In our new Chief Executive, we seek a leader with the experience and ambition to build on the momentum we have, to strengthen organisational resilience, grow audiences and foster relationships with partners and stakeholders. Main purpose of the role: To provide leadership to the organisation working with the Senior Leadership Team to develop, deliver and evaluate our agreed strategic business plan; promote growth and sustainability, and foster a positive, inspiring work environment that empowers our teams to deliver our vision and goals.

• Lead the charity’s vision, values and strategic direction working closely with Trustees to ensure a resilient, ambitious organisation that connects communities through creative endeavour and engagement.
• Support the Chair of Trustees to ensure that the Board and sub committees are equipped and informed, enabling effective and appropriate governance.
• Drive the successful development of income generation through successful fundraising and partnership development to ensure Severn Arts' sustainability.
• Work with and support the Director of Operations and Resources to develop and implement an informed financial plan and be accountable for the annual budget.
• Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders locally, regionally, and nationally and be an ambassador and spokesperson for the organisation.
• Work and negotiate with strategic funding partners to ensure that outcomes and KPIs are aligned and delivered for the benefit of our audiences and users and for the long-term sustainability of Severn Arts.
• Provide leadership across the organisation and ensure Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access is embedded into all aspects of our work, team, and offer.

Purpose of the Role
The Administrator provides essential support across the organisation by maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance, coordinating communication, and ensuring efficient daily operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Records & Compliance (H&S, Training, Equipment)

• Maintain and update relevant staff records, including training logs, H&S documentation, equipment registers.
• Ensure relevant certificates, training dates, and compliance documents remain up to date.
• Organise appropriate and timely delivery of IT, phone and other equipment as required and in liaison with relevant suppliers as appropriate.
• Provide staff IDs, access cards and keys as required.

2. Database, SharePoint & Digital Filing Management

• Maintain relevant organisational databases and digital filing systems.
• Manage SharePoint folders and ensure documents are stored, updated and accessible.
• Support staff with document retrieval and information management.

3. Finance Administration

• Review and submit invoices for approval and maintain records of purchases on credit and debit cards and submit on a timely basis for processing.
• Liaise with the Finance Team to resolve queries and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate administration logs.

4. Office Supplies & Stock Coordination

• Monitor stock levels for both sites and reorder supplies when required.
• Maintain records of stock usage and deliveries.

5. Internal Communications

• Prepare and distribute internal staff updates as appropriate – ideally in liaison with the communications team unless urgent.
• Support organisational communications and notices where needed.

6. Event Planning & Administration

• Maintain logs for events and support planning documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, preparation and administrative tasks for events and meetings.

7. Facilities and Property (including Health & Safety & Fire Compliance Records)

• Maintain and update organisational and building H&S records, including fire safety certificates and compliance documents.
• Organise building maintenance as required.
• Monitor outstanding actions and ensure timely updates.
• Be a qualified first aider on site.
• Book H&S-related training and track attendance.
• Support coordination of fire alarm testing, fire drills and related documentation.
• Support with reception duties as required.

8. Project Administration & Reporting Support

• Assist teams with project documents, data collection and reporting processes as required.
• Maintain project logs and support updates to reporting templates as required.

9. Phone & Admin Inbox Management

• Monitor admin and info inboxes, responding to or redirecting queries appropriately.
• Answer incoming calls and provide first-line administrative support.

About the Youth Endowment Fund

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference.

One of the most important things we do is ensure that our funding and commissioning processes run smoothly and deliver maximum impact. We manage significant grants and complex commissioning arrangements that support projects designed to make a lasting difference. To do this well, we need robust systems, clear governance and strong relationships with partners. This role is critical to making that happen. As our Senior Grants & Commissioning Manager, you’ll lead on optimising our grant management system Salesforce, oversee risk and compliance and drive improvements in commissioning and procurement across the organisation. You’ll be the go-to person for contracts, grant agreements, policy guidance and Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and enabling confident decision-making. By keeping everything organised and efficient, you will be helping us achieve our strategic goals and deliver on our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Your role would be to ensure our funding and commissioning processes run efficiently, compliantly and strategically. You’ll lead improvements in systems, governance and risk management, act as the organisation’s Salesforce and grant management expert, and provide strong leadership to the team which will enable confident decisions and maximising impact. • Grant management and system optimisation:
• Manage the organisation’s grant management system (Salesforce), ensuring functionality, accuracy and integrity of data.

• Risk management and compliance:
• Lead on negotiating terms and conditions with grantees, evaluators and researchers, escalating complex issues where necessary.
• Conduct due diligence for funded projects, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and risk mitigation.
• Maintain and control master versions of all templates, including Grant Agreements and Variations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Governance and policy development:
• Develop, maintain and disseminate non-HR policies and guidance documents related to commissioning and procurement.
• Ensure governance frameworks are robust, up-to-date and embedded across the organisation.
• Training and capacity building:
• Design and deliver training sessions to build staff competency in policies, guidance and system procedures.
• Act as the organisational expert on Salesforce and grant management processes, providing ongoing support and advice.
• Leadership and team management:
• Provide direct line management, mentorship and professional development for the Delivery Operations Manager. When required during periods of peak activity, provide support and resource for their responsibilities.

The post holder will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership, management and oversight of a team.

The post-holder is responsible for shaping policy positions, drafting responses to consultations from councils, combined authorities, and devolved governments, and driving impactful campaigns at a regional level. A key focus is increasing the involvement of blind and partially sighted people in advocacy and campaigning.

Additionally, the role leads the implementation of Guide Dogs’ regional marketing and communications strategy across the Devolved Nations. Our General Manager will be a key member of Different Planet Arts small staff team. Working closely with the Artistic Director and the Board of Trustees as part of the Senior Management Team, you will manage and organise operational support for Different Planet arts programme, ensuring we provide an excellent service to our participants, partners and audiences. Essential Criteria

• Proven experience delivering information/advice and managing a caseload, including prioritising effectively, assessing risk, and communicating professionally with students and partners.

Details of this role

Hours: We are recruiting two posts totalling 1.5 FTE. The roles are offered on an annualised hours contract, with full-time based on 37 hours per week (1,687 working hours per annum plus 244 hours annual leave). Part-time hours and leave will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

Age UK Waltham Forest is leading Waltham Forest Loved and Wanted Alliance, which includes a mosque, church, synagogue, foodbank, Chinese and Albanian groups. The Alliance will support people to make meaningful relationships across divides of race, faith, age and wealth. We are now recruiting a Loved and Wanted Organiser who will make our programme of Loved and Wanted activities happen.

This post will organise the Alliance’s programme of events, supporting all Alliance member organisations to contribute. The post-holder will also support the Alliance Steering Group in developing and overseeing the programme, and undertake all monitoring and evaluation. 

You will need to combine outstanding organisational and communication skills with an in-depth understanding of the needs of different faiths, ethnic groups and communities, and the barriers which exist to keep those groups apart. Speaking one of the following language is not essential, but it would be desirable: Urdu, Punjabi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Albanian, Fillipino.

This project forms part of the Mayor of London’s Loved and Wanted campaign, launched in 2025, celebrating the strength and diversity of London’s communities, reinforcing the message that all Londoners are loved, valued, and welcome - regardless of background. The Mayor of London and The National Lottery Community Fund have committed £1.8m over three years to build a London-wide network of venue-based community spaces across the capital.

About You

We are looking for an inspiring leader who is passionate about unlocking the potential of young people, championing educational equality, and driving lasting change. Skilled at building powerful partnerships, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and championing an inclusive, purpose-driven culture, you’ll also be a dynamic fundraiser, ready to support the growth and diversification of our income so we can expand our impact even further.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• A proven track record of senior leadership and management at a Chief Executive or Director level, likely in the charity or mission-driven sector
• Experience leading a complex organisation, with strong financial oversight, including managing a budget of comparable scale
• Demonstrated success in securing £1.5m+ a year of funding aligned with programme delivery; strong understanding of the connection between mission and sustainability
• Excellent leadership, management and team-building skills with a collaborative working style
• Strong political and organisational awareness, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and experience working with senior stakeholders across sectors
• Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, listening, and presenting

You'll be the guiding light for a caseload of young people, helping them successfully launch their business ideas and work towards those vital business start targets.
