We are seeking a Sessional Project Worker to join our Perinatal Outreach service, to co-facilitate group support for perinatal clients (pregnant women and birthing people of children less than 2 years old) within the London Boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich.

You will help to support women under the care of the Oxleas Perinatal Mental Health Team with moderate to severe mental health challenges who have been identified as requiring additional practical and social support.

You will attend a regular programme of perinatal support groups and activities that encourage women to access outreach support within the local community, develop social networks and reduce isolation as part of their recovery plan. Current activities include weekly play sessions, walking group, soft play, picnics and monthly outings.

Applicants should have a good understanding of mental health challenges in the perinatal period alongside experience of responding to emotional crisis and managing risk. An ability to adapt to multiple and diverse needs, to be proactive and work independently but collaboratively is essential for this role.

Join Our Team as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
Location: HMP Hull, East Yorkshire.

Rethink Mental Illness work alongside Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber, Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deliver an integrated stepped care mental health service within HMP Hull and Humber.

The team compromises a range of highly skilled professionals who work collaboratively to provide the highest quality of care, for those with mental health needs within the prison and for Rethink Mental Illness employees, this is carried out between 0800 – 1600 Monday to Friday. 

As we work across both sites, there may be some travel involved, but this will be done in work time and expenses paid to support service delivery.

*The applicant must have a full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.

What I will do and achieve:

Your work will make a real difference by helping people in prison take positive steps toward recovery and a better future. You’ll play a vital role in supporting mental health, reducing risk, and empowering individuals to manage their wellbeing.

In this role, you will:

• Assess and manage referrals – Accept referrals via agreed protocols, determine suitability, and ensure clients receive the right level of care, including stepping up treatment when necessary.
• Support recovery and self-management – Work with individuals to identify their goals, assess risk, and empower them to manage their mental health effectively.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions – Provide low-intensity treatments such as Guided Self-Help and psycho-educational support, drawing on CBT principles.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team – Attend meetings, share insights, and ensure smooth step-up and step-down arrangements for clients.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice – Record outcome measures, keep accurate data, and uphold confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute to service performance – Meet agreed activity targets, minimise waiting times, and support monthly performance reporting.
• Build strong partnerships – Work with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure continuity of care post-release.
• Communicate effectively and professionally – Engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders in a clear and supportive manner.
• Commit to personal development – Use supervision constructively, maintain professional registration, and stay up to date with best practice.
• Represent Rethink Mental Illness values – Act with integrity, professionalism, and flexibility, including providing contingency cover for other prison sites when required.

Key Responsibilities & Commitments

• Work within Prison Service policies and procedures, supporting programmes and contributing to risk management and public protection.
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including: Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Home Office Prison Clearance, Data Protection Act 1998 and Information Governance policies. Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Promote Rethink Mental Illness membership, donations, and activism.
• Adhere to Professional Boundaries, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding policies; promptly report concerns to your line manager.
• Attend regular clinical and managerial supervision as agreed.
• Take responsibility for personal performance reviews, objectives, and relevant training.
• Respond to supervisory feedback and engage in personal development to improve clinical practice.
• Maintain professional registration and comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with Department of Health guidelines and charity policies.

 Essential Skills and Experience

• Successfully completed academic training aligned with the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and qualified as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies.
• Accredited PWP with BACP or BPS.
• Post-qualification experience delivering the full range of evidence-based IAPT low-intensity interventions at Step 2.
• Proven experience working within a stepped care service, supporting individuals with mental health problems and achieving recovery outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of assessment procedures, screening, referral processes, record-keeping, and evidence-based brief psychological interventions.
• Understanding and application of evidence-based psychological therapies relevant to this role.
• Ability to build effective therapeutic relationships and practice inclusively, respecting cultural diversity and individual beliefs.
• Commitment to an inclusive values base that promotes recovery and respects diversity.
• Experience using clinical outcome measures to inform and improve practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in standard IT packages (Microsoft Word, Excel) and database/information systems.
• Ability to engage positively with clinical supervision and personal development, demonstrating self-reflection and continuous improvement.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Natural Estate Manager to lead and deliver a busy but rewarding programme of conservation work across Gilwell Park, helping to improve habitats, boost biodiversity and create more opportunities for people to connect with nature. Guided by our new 10-year woodland management plan and best-practice conservation methods, you’ll take a hands-on approach to estate maintenance and habitat improvement across the site.

Role Overview:

This role is a member of the organisation’s management team and has responsibility for the delivery of our flood support work. The postholder will lead the delivery of a professional helpline service and oversee reactive and proactive flood support services to communities and business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Flood Support: Lead and manage high-quality proactive and reactive Flood Support Services for communities and businesses at risk of, and impacted by, flooding, including helpline & recovery services and management of the flood support vehicle. • Political and Fundraising support: Provide data, case studies, and research to support political engagement and fundraising. Attend relevant meetings.

About Us: Richmond Borough Mind has been delivering mental health support to people and their carers in the local community for over 65 years, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Emotional Wellbeing Service.

The Role: The Emotional Wellbeing Service (EWS) provides support to those experiencing and recovering from mental ill health. The Senior Support Worker plays a key role in delivering high-quality, strengths-based emotional wellbeing and prevention services for adults across Richmond. The role supports individuals to build resilience, improve wellbeing, reduce crisis and achieve personal outcomes through strengths-based assessment, personalised support planning, risk management and trauma-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide structured 1:1 and group-based emotional wellbeing support in line with strengths-based and recovery-focused principles.

· Complete trauma-informed, strengths-based assessments and co-produce personalised support plans within specified timescales.

· Deliver flexible support in the community venues, homes, online and by phone to maximise accessibility.

· Use evidence-based tools (e.g. solution-focussed scaling, WEMWEBS) to support and measure progress.

· Support clients of the service to build coping strategies, independence, social connection and community participation.

· Provide support to individuals experiencing distress, escalation or early crisis, using de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches.

About You: The successful candidate will have experience of delivering 1:1 support in the community and within people’s homes as well as delivering group-based intervention. The successful person will also have experience of working with a range of mental health conditions across the spectrum of recovery and be able to support those with complex needs such as (but not limited to) substance use, complex trauma, housing and debt issues, relationship challenges, social isolation and financial issues.

We have opportunities available for 18 month fixed term contracts as Client Support Apprentice Workers in our two of our services in Westminster. 

What you’ll do as an Apprentice Worker 

Working as a Client Support Apprentice Worker, you will complete practical work experience and academic learning to build the knowledge, skills and experience to work with clients in housing and homelessness sector.

As an Apprentice Worker you will:

• Work alongside colleagues, students and volunteers working together to support and empower clients to recover from homelessness and rebuild their lives.

• Gain practical experience and skills in caseload management while working in a person-centred way to support wellbeing and recovery. 

• Learn how to deliver day-to-day services while collaborating with colleagues and external partners. 

• Have opportunities to shadow experienced staff and receive on-the-job training, observing how we empower our clients to access the right support and move on. 

• Complete the practical element of your apprenticeships with meetings and event attendance as well as formal learning while completing a Level 3 Peer Worker qualification. 

• Complete on and off the job learning, shadowing and development opportunities.

• Receive support and supervision from an Apprenticeship Advisor as well as a direct line manager, every step of the way.

We’re excited to offer 2 Client Support Apprentice Worker opportunities, joining the team in the London Borough of Westminster in the following services: 

Westminster Atlas Team, which provides support to people experiencing street homelessness and multiple disadvantages across Westminster. The team maintains frequent contact with clients to support them into accommodation, improve their wellbeing, and sustain positive outcomes. 

Westminster First Contact Team (FCT), which works on the frontline supporting people who are new to the streets. Through street outreach shifts across the borough, the team engages individuals, assesses their needs, and helps identify the most appropriate route away from homelessness.

This apprentice scheme is for people with lived experience.

Our Apprentice scheme is specifically designed for people with lived experience, and we can only offer places to the people the programme is designed for. 

You may have personally experienced homelessness (spent time sleeping rough, or lived in a hostel, refuge or supported accommodation), you may have experienced domestic abuse, mental health struggles, substance misuse problems or had contact with the criminal justice system and have used recovery services as a result. 

We’re looking for people with a genuine motivation to build a career supporting vulnerable adults, who can bring: 

• Learning and reflections gained through lived experience and recovery.

• Ability to demonstrate how personal lived experience has shaped your approach to support and wellbeing.

Support people with mental health needs to find and keep meaningful work. As an Employment Support Coach, you’ll work one-to-one with individuals to build confidence, overcome barriers, and connect them with opportunities that match their goals. You’ll also work closely with employers and partner services, playing a key role in someone’s recovery journey and helping them move forward in their lives.

Leeds Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing and provides help and support to anyone who needs it in and around Leeds.  We have faith and optimism in our clients and so the services we deliver are built around their needs. We support the people of Leeds to discover their own resources to ‘recover’ from periods of poor mental health, and to live life independently with their mental health condition. 

Employment is a key part of mental health recovery. Our employment services are delivered in line with the IPS model, supporting people with mental health challenges to retain paid employment in line with their aspirations. IPS is delivered in close partnership with NHS mental health services, employers, commissioners and the wider system.

Due to receiving new funding we are excited to expand our WorkPlace Leeds service to develop our existing support in the community.

IPS Employment Specialists - Multiple positions available

To provide an evidence-based IPS employment support service, delivered in a trauma‑informed, person‑centred and inclusive way, in line with Leeds Mind values and IPS fidelity standards. Full-time permanent

Hours – 37 hours per week (we are unable to offer part time hours unfortunately but may be able to accommodate flexible working)

Supported Employment Specialists - multiple positions available

We support individuals with a range of needs, including mental health conditions, neurodiversity (autism, ADHD), and learning disabilities, to gain and sustain meaningful employment through personalised, strengths-based support. SEQF is delivered in close partnership with community groups , employers, commissioners and the wider system. 

1-year fixed term contract (may be extended depending on funding)

Hours – 37 hours per week and 28 hours per week

Selection process will include a telephone screening and assessment centre.

How You’ll Make a Difference

You’ll support customers to build independence and sustain their tenancies, using a trauma-informed and recovery-focused approach tailored to individual needs. You’ll help people develop essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and maintaining their home, while working closely with mental health services, social care teams, and other partners to provide joined-up support. You’ll play a vital role in identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns, promoting wellbeing, and encouraging social inclusion by helping customers access education, training, and employment opportunities.

What You’ll Bring With You

• Experience of working with vulnerable individuals, including those with mental health needs, substance misuse, or complex backgrounds 
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion Knowledge of housing management, welfare benefits, or willingness to learn
• Ability to create and maintain support plans and risk assessments
• Confidence to work independently, including lone working when required
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and partners 
• A compassionate, resilient approach with a genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their potential

The working pattern for this role is 15 hours per week, on a rota basis. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

A solid understanding of issues affecting women experiencing domestic abuse, as well as knowledge of mental health, substance misuse, and the wider social factors impacting service users, is essential.

The role requires someone who is able to work collaboratively with a variety of external agencies, including Social Services, mental health teams, drug and alcohol services, and other community organisations. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with professionals to ensure that support packages are well‑coordinated and that safeguarding responsibilities are met. The postholder will need strong knowledge of welfare benefits, housing legislation, and the practical steps involved in supporting women to secure and maintain safe accommodation. Experience using computer‑based systems to record client information is therefore required.

Do you have experience working with families and children aged 0-13, a good understanding of the needs of vulnerable families and a relevant vocational or academic qualification?

Welcare is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to deliver a broad-based preventative and responsive support service for families with children up to the age of 13 in partnership with schools, churches, the local authority and other agencies, in the London boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich.Local knowledge of Bromley and Greenwich areas would be an advantage.

You will be delivering practical and emotional support to enhance the lived experiences of children and families through one-to-one support and group work programmes.  The post requires working with families in person and online remote working.  The office base is in Community House, Bromley.
