The RCR, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is leading a national review into cancer multidisciplinary team (MDTs) improvement — a key commitment in the National Cancer Plan. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive this high-profile programme and deliver meaningful change for cancer services. 

This is a rare opportunity to shape how cancer teams work across the country and to deliver meaningful improvements for patients, clinicians and the wider cancer workforce. 

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of the Cancer MDT Reform Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the health system including NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Department of Health and Social Care as well as senior Officers at the RCR, including regular reporting to our Vice-President for Clinical Oncology. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Leading the full project lifecycle, from developing detailed project plans to managing risks, timelines and reporting. 
• Delivering a large two-day national stakeholder event to gather insight and build consensus across the cancer community. 
• Drafting high-impact written outputs, including a flagship report outlining recommendations for MDT improvement to be shared with government. 
• Collaborating with DHSC and NHSE to support the development of future MDT guidance. 
• Building strong, productive relationships with clinicians, NHS partners, national charities, Royal Colleges and internal teams. 
• Line managing the Project Administrator and fostering an effective and motivated project team.

• Strong project management experience, with a record of delivering complex programmes to time and quality.
• Experience working with senior leaders and managing competing demands effectively.

AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).  The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.  

The role of the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer is to deliver high quality, responsive fundraising support across all areas of fundraising, and to drive forward AMMF’s fundraising activities, strategy and relationship development with supporters and funding partners, including the development and use of social media, and Microsoft Office, to achieve this.

It is expected the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer will develop an understanding of AMMF’s aims and objectives and its policies and procedures.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Successfully co-ordinate and manage all fundraising activities – which include individual giving, digital fundraising, events, In Memory, legacy giving and online shop sales.
2. Support all aspects of contact with AMMF’s supporters and fundraisers, via social media platforms, the discussion groups and forums, email, including e-shots, mail and telephone.
3. Manage and maintain the fundraisers’ events diary.
4. Develop, maintain and manage a comprehensive database of supporters and fundraisers using a CRM system.
5. Manage and record all information relating to fundraisers’ activities, results and income, including recording Gift Aid.
6. Record, reconcile and provide accurate financial information to the CEO and trustees as required. 
7. Identify and progress fundraising opportunities to generate sustainable income.
8. Support the Head of Events and Campaigns with the delivery of fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are cost effective and maximise income.
9. Support the development of a fundraising and communication strategy.
10. Manage all aspects of the charity’s online shop.
11. Attend external AMMF networking, partner and fundraising events when required.
12. Attend the annual AMMF conference and fulfil duties as required.   
13. Produce ad hoc reports to support senior management team as and when required.
14. Carry out projects and/or any ad hoc tasks as required by the CEO and Head of Events and Campaigns.

General:

1.  Effectively communicate internally and externally, providing a professional and courteous service at all times.
2. Support team members, fundraisers, supporters and volunteers to be as effective as possible in their work for AMMF.
3. To be prepared to work flexibly, when required, to best meet the needs of the charity.

5. Ensure that all administration associated with this role is delivered promptly, with particular focus on database management and communication with fundraisers and supporters.

Person Specification:

Essential criteria

1. Previous experience and understanding of working within the charity sector and, in particular, of fundraising using a range of techniques including social media, and knowledge of fundraising platforms such as Justgiving, Enthuse, Benevity, Charities Trust, Much Loved, CAF. 
2. Competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and with emailing services such as Mailchimp, virtual meeting platforms Teams and Zoom, and social media platforms, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, and Hootsuite.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. To be sensitive to the areas of work AMMF is involved in.
5. Ability to motivate and enthuse colleagues, fundraisers and supporters.
6. Willing and able to work outside usual office hours to support external events where, when and if required.
7. Current driving license and access to /use of a vehicle (useful not essential).

The post holder will collaborate closely with palliative medicine colleagues to develop and lead projects aimed at improving EDI aspects across all Palliative Care departments.

The ideal candidate has some experience working with institutional donors and is comfortable pivoting between ongoing research-based tasks and short-term, deadline driven tasks. Key Responsibilities

Expedition advisory support

Participate in the provision of advice and support to Society grant recipients and other expedition teams and individuals across their project lifecycles.

Training, events and content

Work with colleagues and external trainers to develop and organise needs-based training opportunities, primarily for Society grant recipients and other supported individuals and teams, across a range of subjects.

Support the development of multimedia resources to support Society members and the wider community of field practitioners in undertaking safe, ethical, impactful expeditions.

Governance and reporting

Contribute data and updates for the bi-annual reporting to the Expeditions & Fieldwork Committee and quarterly workplan reporting to management and trustees.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience leading successful exploratory field projects, preferably through overseas, collaborative, impact-driven ventures in remote and challenging contexts.

The successful candidate will apply both academic knowledge and a practical understanding of safe, ethical and impactful field research, significantly expanding the Society’s capacity to support diverse forms of geographical exploration.

This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £35,897–£39,180 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

World Jewish Relief provides life-saving and life-changing action to people in crisis around the world. We are looking for a Programmes Officer to work closely on our international programmes supporting older people and people with disabilities in Eastern Europe. The role involves supporting the administration and project management of our large portfolio of 33 projects, working with our local partners to monitor implementation and capture data and impact. Part of the role is acting as a focal point for fundraising and communication teams, sharing key project updates to assist with their income-raising and engagement activities. 

You will join our International Programmes team, which is responsible for delivering programmes through strong local partnerships across our Humanitarian and Climate, Older People and Livelihood Development portfolios.

You should have:

• Knowledge of Eastern Europe region/context with focus on Ukraine
• Experience in the international development/ charitable sector
• Experience of remote working with overseas partners
• Demonstrable experience of maintaining Monitoring and Evaluation processes in international development programming
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse and interpret data
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with overseas partners with varying levels of English
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, and willingness to communicate in Russian with partners located outside Ukraine
• Ability to produce high quality written work under pressure and to deadlines
• Strong administrative, research and organisational skills
• Demonstrable skills in financial management and budgeting
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative
• A commitment and empathy to the work and values of World Jewish Relief
• Willingness to travel overseas if deemed necessary

Social Media Officer – Canning Town / Hybrid

35 hours per week, flexible working (including some weekends)

We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Officer to boost our charity’s visibility and bring our mission to life online. If you love crafting engaging content, building online communities, and have a soft spot for cats, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Bring

• 1–2 years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Confident using major social platforms and scheduling/analytics tools.
• Strong copywriting skills, creativity, and an eye for detail.
• Basic design and video‑editing abilities (e.g., Canva, CapCut, InShot).
• Ability to analyse performance metrics and manage multiple tasks.
• A collaborative, proactive attitude, and passion for staying ahead of social trends.
• Experience in the charity sector is a bonus.
• Must love cats and other animals.
