About the role and you

As Digital Innovation Officer, you’ll help deliver and grow Project Intercept, our deterrence programme with tech companies. We work with platforms such as Google, Meta and Aylo to create online interventions that deter harmful behaviour and guide people to confidential support through our Stop It Now service. Working closely with the Innovation Programme Lead, you’ll take charge of the technical running of our chatbot, track the impact of our online warnings, and help manage day to day work with global partners.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident with digital tools, curious about how systems work, and able to turn data into clear insight. You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable navigating platforms, problem-solving and learning as you go. If you thrive in a small, purpose-driven team and want to use digital innovation to help protect children, this role offers real impact and room to grow.

This post is funded externally and is therefore offered on a fixed-term contract for one year.

You’ll play a central role in ensuring visitors are supported with the information, logistics and practical help they need to have a safe and productive stay, and you’ll help keep internal communications flowing by sharing relevant updates around the office.

You’ll also take real ownership of the office environment along side your Job-Share co-worker, working to service levels and agreed processes, listening to feedback, and continuously improving the service we provide. You’ll ensure facilities equipment is secure, maintained and compliant, including items requiring legal checks such as PAT testing, and you’ll maintain accurate asset information. You’ll be a main contact with cleaning services to set clear standards and monitor cleanliness, waste disposal, recycling and supplies, and you’ll organise confidential waste and recycling in line with best practice. From managing deliveries and ensuring the right equipment is in place for moving items safely, to attending the premises out of hours if needed for urgent repairs, you’ll help ensure staff can work confidently and safely. Security and safe working are central to this role. You’ll support building access control, assist with fire and building safety procedures, promote safe working practices, and work alongside security colleagues to support safe travel for staff. You’ll also support the Facilities and Security Manager with information gathering for renewals such as travel and office insurance, and coordinate with our London facilities team where travel and accommodation bookings are required.

We’re looking for someone who brings proven experience delivering a professional facilities management service in a similar environment, with a strong customer service mindset and the confidence to build a positive service culture around them. You’ll have practical technical knowledge of office maintenance, repairs and improvements, and you’ll be comfortable managing supplier relationships, raising orders, and handling associated financial processes. You’ll be organised, calm under pressure, and able to juggle immediate daily needs alongside longer-term projects. You’ll also be someone who can identify risks early and take sensible action to reduce them.

Experience as a First Aider and/or Fire Warden, and experience of manual handling are important for this role, and it’s a bonus if you’ve worked with asset management, in the charity sector, or in office environments aligned to health and safety standards such as IOSH. About NUM:

National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is an award-winning charity with a mission to ‘end all forms of violence against sex workers.’ NUM provides a mechanism for sex industry workers to report crimes and harm they experience and share this information within their communities to warn others of potentially dangerous individuals and situations. We have a dedicated casework team of industry experts who support sex workers to further access criminal justice remedies and other services as determined by these victims/survivors to cope and recover from crimes they experience. We also host a range of other projects in racial justice, mental health, drop-in support (Scotland), and vocational exploration.

Role Summary:

National Ugly Mugs is looking to recruit a Victim Support Case Worker to provide greater access to justice and protections for sex workers based in or touring in London. The role will also involve contributing to the writing and quality assurance of harm reduction tools and resources, ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and responsive to the needs of sex workers. The post holder will work across multiple agencies, from victim support services, Citizens Advice, SARCS, specialist sex worker support organisations to those providing services to sex workers, and sex worker-led groups. They will work with police and Met officials via working groups or direct engagement with BCU SPOCs to support reporting to police.

The Victim Support Case Work plays a part in maintaining a wide network of practitioners and officials, both local and national, to ensure that we are victim-centred and provide resources in ways that are individualised and safest for sex worker survivors as part of prevention, victim support and recovery. As such, the postholder will engage with other sex worker-led groups and rights activists, and will be provided with relevant training and clinical supervision to support them in this role.

This role delivers the Pan-London Sexual Violence Alliance (PLSVA) prevention and outreach priorities, strengthening community and professional responses to sexual violence across London.

The Fixery Workshop Officer supports the daily operations of the Fixery and supporting in its promotion and development. You will be helping to deliver a welcoming, community-centred service that promotes repair, reuse and waste reduction. 1. Welcoming people into the space, explaining how the repair process works, and creating a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

2. Operating stalls and services within the Fixery, including transactions.

4. Supporting community events, workshops, and outreach activities.

Youth Delivery Mentoring Officer

We are looking for a skilled, committed, and passionate individual with experience within the youth work sector (this could be in a voluntary capacity). Whilst developing our focus around youth engagement and early intervention techniques, we recognise the importance of having individuals who really want to make a difference in the lives of young people. The successful applicant will understand our values, ethos and principles as an organisation and will demonstrate a strong desire to contribute to and deliver meaningful and effective youth work. 

Main Purpose of this Role

Reaching Higher is a youth organisation which works with almost 2000 young people aged 10 - 18 each year across Croydon and surrounding boroughs. Purpose of the job:

As a Debt Advice Caseworker, you will provide high quality advice and casework services to our clients who call through to our national help desk. The role is fully telephone based, at our office in Stoke on Trent. The telephone lines are open from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 9.30am-1pm. The role includes a variety of shift patterns in line with the requirements of the contract.

You will predominantly be advising clients on their debt issues over the phone, helping them to find solutions to their issues. No call is the same, and each client is given tailored advice dependent on their circumstances. The role is demanding, but full training will be provided, and you will be, working as a part of an approachable and supportive team in a rewarding environment, allowing you to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Through your excellent communication skills and attention to detail, you will be able to deal with complex situations, provide accurate and detailed information, whilst achieving individual KPI’s and targets.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.  

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.  

We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls. 

Key Responsibilities-

• To develop and deliver family support and play sessions to children, young people and their mothers in refuge and the community. To lead on domestic violence awareness raising sessions with children/young people and professionals.
  

*BSWA provides safe secure accommodation to some of the most vulnerable women and children therefore in order to ensure we provide maximum support and safety it is essential that our service is available to them 24/7. We do this through operating an on-site rota that covers weekends, evenings and bank holidays as well as a 24 hour call out system.

The Clerk to Governors is responsible to the Chair of Governors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance and Board Administration

• Develop, maintain, and manage a comprehensive annual Board and Committee calendar across all Board, and Finance and Remuneration Committee meetings.
• Ensure timely and efficient production and distribution of papers, including agendas, reports, and minutes.
• Accurately record meeting minutes, track actions, and ensure follow-up is completed.

2. Board & Committee Support

• Maintain and periodically review Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the Board and all Committees.

5. Risk Management & Compliance

• Support implementation and oversight of a risk management framework including a defined risk appetite statement and committee-level accountability.
• Assist with periodic review and consolidation of the risk register for Board-level analysis.
• Coordinate annual reviews of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

6. Strategy and Business Planning Support

• Play a coordinating role in the strategic planning and delivery oversight, ensuring alignment between the Executive and governance structures.
• Support progress monitoring and reporting against the School Development Plan / Strategic Business Plan.

7. Board Development and Succession

• Oversee Trustee induction, training and recruitment, including skills audits.
