This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of our ambitious Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy, securing transformational five- and six-figure grants that will drive our long-term impact and growth.
We're looking for an exceptional relationship-builder and communicator with a proven track record of securing five- and six-figure grants from Trusts and Foundations. You'll be confident translating complex data into compelling funding propositions and using your outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills to inspire support for our mission.

About the Role

The Helpline Advisor will be the first point of contact for individuals reporting incidents of anti-Muslim hate. The role requires delivering empathetic, confidential, and high-quality support to callers, as well as accurately recording reports and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.

We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. The successful candidate will have a strong record of securing significant income, identifying new opportunities and building effective relationships with funders, commissioners and partners. They will also be a constructive and positive senior colleague: someone who works collaboratively, communicates clearly, takes ownership and contributes actively to the success of the wider organisation.
The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. Additionally, it will ensure the maintenance and growth of excellent relationships with both existing and prospective funders, including the stewardship of grants and timely reporting. Responsibilities will also include reviewing, updating, and developing service budgets, as well as overseeing or coordinating the submission of high-quality bids, funding approaches, and events.
As a member of the senior leadership team, this post will work cross-departmentally and will contribute to the overall strategy of Woman’s Trust, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees. You will lead and line manage the Trust and Statutory Fundraising Manager, Fundraising Manager and Data Impact and Insights Manager. You will deliver a direct income target for each year, with a focus on the development and tendering of statutory commissioning.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

For nearly 30 years, we have provided free, trauma-informed counselling, therapeutic groups, and workshops to help women rebuild their emotional wellbeing. We are seeking a Head of Fundraising and Development to lead our fundraising team and play a key role in our Senior Leadership Team. You’ll be joining Woman’s Trust at a pivotal moment, as we build on nearly 30 years of specialist expertise to meet growing demand, expand our services for women and girls, and extend our influence through training, research, partnerships and policy to create lasting change. As demand for our services grows, we aim to double the number of women we support annually, achieved in part through growing our income.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing new funder and partner relationships across trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and corporates.
Strengthening existing relationships to secure sustainable, multi-year funding.
Leading fundraising growth, aiming for £3m by 2027/28.
Collaborating with the CEO, trustees, and Senior Leadership Team to shape fundraising strategy and operational delivery.
Leading an passionate team of fundraisers to maximise income generation opportunities.

Job Profile
This role will lead CAFOD’s policy and advocacy work aimed at building a fairer global financial system. The post holder will have a solid understanding of contemporary global economic issues, including the global debt crisis, development finance and the workings of international multilateral organisations. Working closely with CAFOD’s overseas partners and within UK and global networks, this role will hold policy expertise on behalf of the organisation. This will involve developing policy positions and representing the organisation externally. The role will work closely with CAFOD’s government relations and campaigns colleagues to lobby decision-makers and mobilise supporters as part of our economic justice work. Sitting within the Advocacy, Policy & Campaigns team, the role is managed by the head of department.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the development and delivery of CAFOD’s global economic justice advocacy strategy
Working in partnership with UK and global organisations to develop evidence‑based policy positions
Influencing UK, regional and global policy debates on the global debt crisis, and other economic justice issues
Representing CAFOD in coalitions, to decision makers, in church networks and at international forums
Writing policy briefings, reports and communication outputs
Building relationships with external stakeholders and decision makers and UK and global levels
Ensuring advocacy is grounded in strong analysis, partner experience and a commitment to social and environmental justice
Supporting advocacy work of partners and global networks on debt cancellation and financial system reform
Providing strategic and technical advice across the organisation

The Role
To provide a high-quality housing management and health and safety service, acting as a primary point of contact for tenants and delivering excellent customer service. The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. They will lead on developing high-quality, persuasive funding applications and reports that clearly communicate the impact of the Southmead Project’s work and the needs of the people it supports.
Working closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and trustees, the Fundraiser will develop and deliver an annual fundraising plan, maintain a strong funding pipeline, and support the organisation to diversify its income. The role will require excellent writing, research, relationship-building and organisational skills, alongside a strong commitment to the charity’s values and mission.

Carry out ongoing prospect research to identify new sources of funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources.
Maintain a fundraising pipeline, ensuring that opportunities, deadlines, applications and reporting requirements are monitored effectively.
Build and maintain a database of prospective and current funders, including key contacts, deadlines, funding priorities and application requirements.
Monitor relevant local, regional and national funding opportunities, including being a sponsored charity at community events.
Produce funding applications for trusts, charities, foundations and statutory bodies as an ongoing part of the charity’s income generation.
Analyse data and feedback collected through outcomes processes for report writing.
Build and maintain positive relationships with funders, partners and relevant stakeholders, including the corporate sector as part of the charity’s income diversification strategy.
Attend monthly meetings with the Senior Leadership Team and trustee meetings as required.
