The Role

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the charity.

You will lead integrated digital, marketing and media activity to grow audiences, drive ticket sales, strengthen brand reputation and amplify our impact. You will play a central role in delivering the marketing and ticketing strategy for The Queen’s Reading Room Festival and other major events, ensuring we meet ambitious audience and revenue targets. You will help convert major media moments into sustained follower and email subscriber growth and be responsible for improving website journeys and sign-up performance, using analytics to drive action.

Alongside commercial growth, you will work closely with our Impact Manager, supporting them to craft compelling stories about the charity’s reach and outcomes — particularly across our growing grassroots partnerships — ensuring our communications clearly demonstrate meaningful and measurable social impact.

This role combines strategic thinking with operational delivery. It would suit a confident, creative communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and high-profile partners.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Audience Growth

• Lead marketing strategy for The Queen’s Reading Room Festival and other major events, with clear audience and revenue objectives.

• Develop and deliver integrated ticketing campaigns across digital, email, social, media and partner channels.

• Manage ticketing communications and optimise audience conversion journeys.

• Monitor ticket sales in real time and adjust tactics to meet targets.

• Oversee paid marketing activity, including digital advertising and out-of-home placements where appropriate.

• Develop audience segmentation strategies to grow and retain supporters.

• Produce post-campaign and post-event reports with clear insights and recommendations.

• Convert peak media moments into follower growth and email subscriber acquisition.

• Optimise journeys from reach to follow/sign-up (not only ticket purchase).

• Report on follower and subscriber conversion, and recommend actions.

Digital Content & Impact Storytelling

• Lead digital growth strategy across social media, website and email platforms.

• Work with colleagues to plan content calendars aligned to campaigns, publishing milestones and cultural moments.

• Support the Impact Manager to translate data, insights and grassroots partnership outcomes into compelling, accessible stories, case studies and narrative content that clearly articulates the charity’s reach and measurable outcomes.

• Support the Impact Manager by ensuring impact reporting is integrated across digital channels and campaign materials.

• Oversee high-quality multimedia content creation (copy, graphics, short-form video) which supports the narrative of the charity.

• Draft and approve newsletter content distributed to a large database.

• Build and optimise welcome and follow-up journeys for new subscribers.

• Translate insight into prioritised changes across content, journeys and CTAs

• Use analytics to optimise engagement, growth and conversion.

• Own website performance and continuous improvement (UX and sign-up journeys).

• Ensure tracking is in place and use insight to drive action.

Media Relations & Press Office

• Manage day-to-day press office activity, including handling reactive media enquiries.

• Secure proactive media coverage across print, broadcast and digital channels to support campaigns and events.

• Build and maintain strong journalist relationships.

• Draft press releases, Q&As and briefing materials.

• Monitor and evaluate coverage, correcting inaccuracies where necessary and escalating issues appropriately.

Campaigns, Brand & Partnerships

• Develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns with measurable results.

• Ensure consistency of tone of voice and brand across all platforms.

• Build strong working relationships with publishers, literary organisations, cultural institutions and corporate partners to amplify reach.

• Conduct appropriate due diligence on partnerships in collaboration with senior leadership.

About You

We are looking for a strategic and creative communications professional with strong commercial awareness and excellent storytelling skills.

You will bring:

• Significant experience in digital marketing and communications roles.

The Opportunity   

As a key team member within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will play a vital role in creating, developing and delivering the Social Mobility Foundation’s Employer Programme and Social Mobility Employer Index - how we inform, influence and positively impact employer-led social mobility, and a source of income generation. 
 

1. Delivery of the Social Mobility Employer Index 

• Deliver the SMEI 2026, including but not limited to: marking entries, creating individual feedback reports for each entrant, creating sector reports for key industries, and gathering feedback to review and update the survey for 2027 

• Maintain accurate and up to date information and process documentation, including the mark scheme used to mark entries, and the process followed to create feedback reports 

• Support with the ongoing development of the digital platform, employer resources and online content, ensuring it is updated in line with the survey and delivers a smooth user journey

• Support with the annual monitoring and evaluation of the SMEI and its impact on employer-led social mobility 

2. Stakeholder management and customer service 

• Provide excellent customer service and stewardship to organisations entering the SMEI throughout the whole customer journey, e.g. preparing and sending regular communications and updates to prospective and live entrants, answering questions received into the SMEI inbox and troubleshooting independently 

• Prepare and deliver feedback calls and presentations for organisations, including Lunch & Learns on social mobility, introductory calls on the SMEI, presentations and webinars about the SMEI, and providing detailed feedback calls on entrants’ performance in the SMEI 

• Support with creating and developing assets and activities to market the SMEI and other products and services including webinars and social media assets 

• Engage with external stakeholders, such as employers, policy experts and social mobility practitioners, to understand key issues and trends relevant to workplace social mobility 

3. Quality standards 

• Stay up to date with the latest research, evidence and on workplace and employer-led social mobility, communicating changes or updates with colleagues, as well as maintaining and updating the evidence base for the SMEI

• Support the annual evaluation of the SMEI and its impact on employer-led social mobility

4. Systems and processes 

• Maintain accurate and up to date records, using SharePoint and our Salesforce CRM to support pipeline management, income tracking and partner records, namely for the SMEI 

• Comply with internal policies such as data protection and our ethical fundraising policy, as well as external fundraising regulations and legal requirements 

5. Team support and collaboration 

• Collaborate across the team to ensure opportunities are aligned across all income streams 

• Champion a collaborative and creative fundraising culture, building internal understanding, support and excitement in fundraising and partnership activities

Role’s Primary Objective

The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.

In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.

This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Above all, you will need to connect authentically with our ethos and be able to communicate the distinctive value of Camphill community life to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values

• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue

• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base

• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on fundraising trends, opportunities and risks

• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding

2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy

• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts

• Develop compelling cases for support and funding proposals for capital projects and programme development

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting

• Support the CEO and trustees in their donor engagement activities, preparing briefings and facilitating introductions

3. Grants and Trusts

• Research and develop a pipeline of grant-making trusts and foundations aligned with Tiphereth's work

• Write and submit high-quality funding applications, working collaboratively with service managers to develop project proposals

4. Marketing and Communications

• Lead the development and implementation of Tiphereth's marketing and communications strategy

The Project Manager (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for the management and delivery of NSA-led and NSA-linked technical/research/innovation related projects during the maternity leave period of the substantive postholder.

The postholder will:

Project delivery and coordination

• Manage and deliver a defined portfolio of ongoing and fixed-term NSA projects, including externally funded and partnership projects.

Role Summary

Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the criminal justice system, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.

We are seeking an individual with a proactive, compassionate, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly organised, brings strong reporting skills, and is a great relationship builder. Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.

At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Senior Keyworker, you will ensure our staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.

You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Bradford Centre, which is funded by a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory.

You will lead on contract and performance management including relationships with commissioners. Alongside the Director of Services and wider management team you will also contribute to the effective leadership of the organisation, ensuring our operational and strategic objectives are met.

Key accountabilities

Service Delivery and Management

• Lead the operational management of TW services in Bradford ensuring intensive high-quality, trauma responsive support is provided to women and girls accessing the services.
• Develop and manage a service plan for Bradford that incorporates key milestones and ensures delivery of project outputs and outcomes
• Monitor delegated budget responsibility, ensuring that the services operate within the agreed budget.

Staff Management

• Line manage direct reports and ensure that all staff receive regular support, supervision and performance review, case management, training and development in line with TW policies and procedures.
• Deliver team meetings, reflective practice, and staff learning and development opportunities.
• Effectively manage a team working on different contracts ensuring team cohesion and consistency in approach and practice.

Communication/Contracts and Partnerships

• Take overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and referral pathways.
• Lead on the contract and performance management including all relationships with commissioners.
• Organise and attend external meetings/events as appropriate, actively participating and disseminating information to colleagues. This includes sitting on steering groups and attending multi-agency panels to discuss the needs and challenges faced by our service users,
• Design and deliver training for professionals in the region to improve responses to women and girls affected by the social justice system.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Ensure that all staff maintain accurate, confidential customer records, following Together Women policies and procedures, and contribute to development of contract monitoring and recording.
• Produce monitoring and evaluation reports in line with funder and other key stakeholder requirements.

Funding

• Identify relevant fundraising opportunities and support TW senior management team to prepare funding applications, identify commissioning opportunities, which support the long-term sustainability of existing and new services.
• Attend meetings with potential new funders to secure new funding streams, ensuring that the project outcomes are achievable and measurable.
• Work with colleagues within TW and/or external partners to establish new services/projects when funding applications are successful.

Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive

• Provide visible interim leadership for the Trust’s business development function, setting clear priorities and ways of working, and coordinating contribution from service, operational, clinical and corporate colleagues.
• Develop and maintain a Trust-wide opportunity pipeline (tenders, frameworks, spot-purchase growth, strategic partnerships and other commissioned income routes), including qualification, prioritisation, and clear next steps.

About You
