Zoe’s Place is seeking a Head of Fundraising to lead our team of fantastic fundraisers at the Middlesbrough Hospice. This position presents an excellent opportunity to join the Charity during a pivotal period in its development.
Zoe’s Place is unique, we are the only baby specific Hospices in the U.K., with hospices located in Middlesbrough and Coventry and strive to promote and maintain our commitment to the local communities in each area.
We’re incredibly proud of our hospices. We provide palliative, respite and end of life care to children aged 0 – 5 years old with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. With our team of specialist nurses offering 24-7 care and support, we’ve created a safe, caring and fun place, where parents know that their child will receive the best care possible - a home away from home.
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the fundraising team, supporting income generation to successfully meet annual objectives. The individual in this role will oversee the strategic planning and execution of all fundraising initiatives at our Middlesbrough Hospice.
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate confidence, compassion, ambition, and strong organisational skills, along with the capacity for creative and strategic thinking. They should possess a genuine passion for their work, excel in independent tasks with minimal supervision, and have the ability to influence, motivate, and persuade others effectively.
Due to the nature of the position the post holder may need to work unsocial hours to meet the needs of the role.

The role
As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be a driving force behind MedicAlert's life-saving mission, developing, securing and stewarding partnerships across the charity, public and private sectors.
You will own the full partnership lifecycle - from research and relationship building through to delivery, evaluation and renewal - working closely with the Director of Marketing and Development, CEO and Leadership Team. Acting as a central point of coordination internally and externally, you will design partnership models that deliver meaningful social impact alongside sustainable income and organisational growth.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, research and prioritise prospective strategic partners whose values, audiences and objectives align with MedicAlert's mission
- Develop and implement flexible partnership models across sectors, assessing opportunities based on impact, reach, income and strategic value
- Lead the development and management of partnership proposals, negotiations and agreements
- Deliver partnership-led income generation, including B2B sales of MedicAlert membership, sponsorship and commercial opportunities

About you

The role is 20 hours per week, negotiable, working remotely but with frequent visits to the NCC
Head Office in Portsmouth for training and assimilation into the Caseworking team.
Working as part of the NCC Casework Team, the Triage Caseworker (Education) will be the first
point of contact for beneficiaries seeking educational support through the Greenwich Hospital Go
Learn - Free online tutoring for Naval families and the NCC University Bursary Programme. This role
involves following the triage processes to assess the needs of the children to provide
recommendations for tutoring/bursary support. Assessments may lead to referrals being made to
the NCC for financial assistance for other child/family needs, advice, and support in the
management of finances, and child specific needs
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Caseworkers provide support and advice to eligible individuals in line with the policies of the Naval
Children’s Charity. They work closely with other organisations to ensure that children and families
receive appropriate and prompt support.
The role of Triage Caseworker (Education) is to assess the eligibility for support through the
Greenwich Hospital Go Learn and The NCC University Bursary Programmes. Where additional child
and family needs are identified, recommendations for appropriate assistance to the NCC
Casework Team will be required. Caseworkers should be empathetic and non-judgmental.
Caseworkers will receive induction training in the NCC’s Beacon database, Microsoft forms and
other tools necessary to the role. The role is subject to DBS checking.
- To act as the first point of contact for enquiries and applications from beneficiaries, providing a calm, supportive and professional welcome
- To complete an initial assessment of eligibility and, where necessary, further assessment through telephone calls and emails

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager, who will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and HR administration. You will be well organised, able to work on you own initiative and be experieced in writing clear and engaging reports tailored to a non-financial audience.
The main responsibilities of the role are:

About the role
Are you a strategic communications professional who can lead a team and shape an organisation’s external profile?
We are looking for a Communications Manager to lead and develop Equation’s communications function. This is a strategic role focused on building our brand and external profile, managing a talented team, and ensuring all parts of the organisation have the communications support they need.
You will line manage a team of four, including two Coordinators, a Project Worker and a Freelance Resource Worker. Your role is to provide strategic direction, set targets and quality assure outputs – not to do the day-to-day delivery yourself. You will develop and implement our communications strategy, support other workstreams with their communications needs, and work with colleagues including our new Corporate Partnerships Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging.
This role also has an important sector leadership element. You will chair the DSVA Communications Group, working with communications colleagues from partner organisations across Nottinghamshire to coordinate joint campaigns and messaging.
You do not need to have worked in the domestic abuse sector before, but you do need to be an experienced communications professional who can think strategically, manage people well and maintain high standards across everything we put out.

We are looking for a permanent and full-time member of staff to help develop and communicate RSTMH’s role within tropical medicine and global health. We need a passionate and creative communicator who can play a key role in meeting our communications objectives. This role is office-based in central London, with the option to work from home on Mondays.
RSTMH is a membership society formed in 1907, with around 1,800 members and Fellows in over 100 countries. We work to improve tropical medicine and global health by enabling and promoting research, sharing knowledge and convening networks through our members and Fellows and beyond. The Communications Manager will have the opportunity to develop and enhance RSTMH’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice in tropical medicine and global health.
This is a wide-ranging and exciting role. You will lead on implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it meets the aims of the wider RSTMH strategy. You’ll maintain and further develop the website and social media platforms, build links with media contacts, and source, commission and develop content. You’ll manage relationships with key suppliers, including website developers, strategic partners, digital media and creative agencies. You’ll also be responsible for delivering RSTMH’s newsletters to our members and Fellows, and global network of supporters.

THE ROLE
- Implement RSTMH’s communications strategy, in line with the wider organisational goals – developing short- and long-term strategic plans

- Manage social media channels for RSTMH, and develop strategies to engage wider networks

About the opportunity
As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:
NHS Charities Together Fundraising Strategy
- Oversee the shaping of and support the Stewardship Manager on the delivery of a simplified, effective individual giving programme aligned with NHS Charities Together’s strategic priorities, with a focus on the retention and upgrade of existing donors and avoiding competing with our members.
- Ensure individual donors are regularly engaged and asked for appropriate cash gifts through a light-touch programme.
- Ensure that legacy messaging is prominent in the donor engagement cycle, to inspire existing donors to consider long-term support, aligned with their gratitude to the NHS, with appropriate pathways offered.
- Oversee prompt, accurate, and heartfelt thanking processes for all donations.
- Manage the welcome journey for unsolicited donations, and oversee the cost-effective management of existing commitments for community or events-based activity to ensure a return
- Lead stewardship for donors giving up to £25,000.
- Oversee and support the Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to manage the relationships with selected key corporate relationships, identifying opportunities for partnerships and liaising closely with NHS Charities Together colleagues to support the development of fundable propositions which benefit our sector and our own organisation.
Sector Fundraising Support
- Champion sector-wide change by equipping member charities with scalable, plug-and-play fundraising products and strategic guidance that enhances their income generation capacity through individual giving, working closely with the engagement team.
- Oversee the development of support the Products Manager on the rollout of replicable or white-label fundraising products, starting with the roll-out of a lottery and legacy product, and on the development of campaigns (e.g. focused on grateful patients).
- Oversee and drive the thinking on future fundraising products that will appeal to and benefit our diverse group of member charities.
- Work closely with the engagement team and other NHS Charites together staff to tailor activity in line with segmentation and engagement strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with member charities, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable and empathetic fundraising expert.
- Contribute to supporting NHS Charities to raise their income, providing advice and guidance 1:1 and through supporting the delivery of member events. Where required support the delivery of paid for consulting support to NHS charities on fundraising.

This exciting CRM Officer role will support the data team with data imports, data selections and processing of income.
The Foundation has just started using a new CRM after undergoing a CRM migration from Raiser’s Edge, a very exciting time to be joining the Foundation! This role, alongside with other members of the CRM team, will liaise with the CRM Project Teams to support and ensure the successful outcome of the project and get us up to BAU.
What does the role involve?
- Manage data processes, imports and exports of all fundraising data including direct debits, new donors, email signups etc. in accordance with agreed protocols and in agreement with CRM Manager.
- Ensure that the use of the Fundraising database and the capture of all data from supporters or prospects conforms to data protection guidelines including GDPR relating to supporter preferences and consent.
- Support training for colleagues using the new CRM (Beacon) and help ensure all members are trained and kept up to date on new features and enhancements as they require to do their job effectively.
- Support the reconciliation of the bank statement with Beacon and ensure the Finance team know where to find information to enable accurate coding for management accounts.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team role using Raiser’s Edge or any database similar, with experience of CRMs in general.
- Evidenced experience of managing high volumes of personal data using a large and complex supporter/CRM database.

What you’ll do
- Plan, coordinate and deliver targeted, insight-led marketing campaigns from brief through to evaluation.
- Develop clear campaign plans including objectives, audiences, messaging, channels, timelines and KPIs.
- Commission high-quality campaign assets and write engaging, on-brand copy across email, social and digital platforms.
- Manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, keeping activity on track and stakeholders informed.
- Monitor performance using analytics tools, reporting on results and using insight to optimise future activity.
- Collaborate with Brand, Content and Membership teams to ensure joined-up, consistent communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve targeting, testing and campaign effectiveness through continuous learning and optimisation.
What you’ll need
- Experience independently delivering multi-channel marketing or campaign activity from planning to evaluation.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Confident copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.
- Experience using analytics and performance tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads or similar) to track and improve results.
- A data-informed mindset, with experience using testing and insight to refine campaigns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
- Proactivity, sound judgement and the confidence to take ownership of your work.

Community Development & Health Programme Manager - to cover Maternity Leave
Full Time - 37 hrs per week (largely office/community based with some limited work at home permitted)
Salary range - £41,363 - £47,513 per annum, dependant on qualification, skills & previous experience
Fixed term for 12-months covering a period of maternity leave
Based Newhaven with some travel to outreach and delivery locations across E. Sussex
You will be an experienced people, project, and services manager with a track record and flair for developing and delivering community-based services to contract, and which meet identified community needs, in a consistently high quality way. With strong financial acumen and the ability to develop and monitor budgets, you will analyse and explain variances, manage complex and time-limited funding streams, and collaborate regularly with the finance team. The role also involves developing and supporting project staff in effective budget management.
With responsibility for the strategic development of the community development & health work area; which incorporates community infrastructure support & development, youth & families, environmental and active travel initiatives; you will lead, direct & support a multi-disciplinary team who manage the contracts, services and day-to-day delivery of this broad work area.
Skilled at managing relationships with existing funders and commissioners, you will broker new partnerships, write bids and collaborate on funding tenders, ensuring sustained funding for services which support people with complex challenges in our communities. With excellent organisation, communication, finance and project management skills, you will demonstrate sensitivity to the ambitions of this work area and to SCDA’s vision.

Reporting to the schools in house Legal Advisor, you will ensure the school operates in full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal policy requirements, promoting a culture of compliance across all areas of school activity.
This role is initially offered on a one-year fixed term contract working term time, plus INSED days and a further three weeks during the school holidays (38 weeks). The role also has part time support provided by the Compliance Administrator.
Salary circa £63,000, depending on experience. This is based on full-time equivalent annual salary of £75,000.
