PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Service Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational leadership, quality, performance and contract delivery of both the LB Newham Core and the Intensive Support Accommodation contracts. The role will ensure a joined-up support pathway for residents with low, medium, high and complex support needs, promoting safety, stabilisation, independence, move-on and long-term tenancy sustainment.
The post-holder will lead staff teams to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred support for vulnerable single homeless adults, including residents with multiple disadvantage, high levels of risk and complex support needs.
The role will set, monitor and embed clear resettlement and support standards, ensuring residents receive consistent assessment, support planning, risk management, move-on preparation and tenancy sustainment support.
The role will be accountable for safeguarding, housing management, performance reporting, quality assurance, partnership working, commissioner confidence and continuous service improvement.

• Ensure the intensive supported accommodation service provides safe, responsive and proportionate support for residents with complex needs and high levels of risk.
• Monitor performance against contract indicators, including outcomes, safeguarding, engagement, rent accounts, move-on, tenancy sustainment, voids and resident feedback.
• Prepare accurate reports, evidence and performance commentary for commissioner monitoring, audits, inspections and service reviews.
• Lead, develop and support staff to work as one team while maintaining service-specific boundaries, contractual standards, professional accountability and Your Place values.
• Maintain effective staffing arrangements, including cover for key working, weekend, out-of-hours and intensive provision requirements.

We are looking for a dynamic and values-driven Senior Service Manager to join our West London and West England Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of homelessness services spanning outreach, prevention, housing first and housing-led support and recovery-focused provision across Oxfordshire and Reading.
Working closely with the Regional Head, you will play a central role in the leadership of services across the region. You will provide strategic and operational oversight, support the development of managers and teams, strengthen relationships with commissioners and partners, and help identify opportunities to further expand and improve our services. As Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, performance and continuous development of TRH, ensuring the delivery of a safe, welcoming and person-centred crisis service that provides an effective alternative to hospital admission. We're looking for an experienced and values-driven leader with a strong background in managing mental health, housing, social care, crisis or other complex-needs services. You will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, managing service delivery against contractual requirements, KPIs and quality standards, and overseeing budgets and resources effectively. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of safeguarding, risk management, quality assurance and partnership working with NHS, local authority, voluntary sector and community organisations. You will have a strong understanding of recovery-focused, strengths-based, trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches, alongside a commitment to co-production and involving people with lived experience in service development. A sound knowledge of relevant mental health, safeguarding, health and safety, social care and welfare legislation is essential, as is the ability to assess and review risk and support plans, maintain accurate records, and utilise IT systems to produce high-quality reports and data.

About the role

As Deputy Outreach Manager, you will help lead services supporting young people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing other complex challenges. You will supervise and inspire frontline colleagues, maintain high standards of support and housing management, and help young people move towards safer, more independent futures.
Working closely with the wider management team, you will make confident decisions, manage risk and ensure services operate safely and effectively. You will also develop strong relationships with commissioners, stakeholders and delivery partners, representing the service at regular meetings and supporting successful partnership working.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Supervising and supporting teams and individual staff members
· Ensuring young people receive safe, consistent and person-centred support
· Overseeing safeguarding, risk assessments and support planning

About you
You will be an experienced and proactive manager who can lead people, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in complex situations.
