Working in close partnership with the Founder & CEO, this role takes ownership of the systems, processes, team and organisational rhythms that enable the charity to grow rapidly and sustainably. We are looking for someone with great communication and project development skills to join us as a LiveLife Project Coordinator. Joining a busy and highly effective team, this role will help deliver two major programmes of work for Lingen Davies. With a primary focus on cancer awareness raising to address health inequalities (early diagnosis, cancer screening and prevention), we use a range of activities and settings to effectively engage with the public and target communities. This work is focussed in the following areas:

• Cancer Champions Project (focus on Telford). Working in partnership colleagues, along with NHS Shropshire Telford &Wrekin, and Qube, to deliver and maintain the Telford component of the project.
• LiveLife community cancer awareness programme. Our Lingen Davies community health promotion initiative, bringing cancer awareness to communities across the region.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership background across digital, data or technology, ideally within a small, innovative organisation. This does not have to be at a senior level but evidenced in your application by mentoring/influencing and bringing people together.
• Credible technical knowledge and up to date understanding of developments in technology.
• Deep experience of working effectively with other professions and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of service design in a charity, public sector or service delivery organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of developing DDaT teams, and of developing digital and data capabilities across an organisation, ideally in a charity or public-service context.
• A track record of improving data maturity and operational use of data and insight.
• Hands-on delivery experience; comfortable rolling up sleeves and making practical improvements.

We are now seeking a Head of Legacy Giving to lead this important area. Reporting to the Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Greenpeace UK’s legacy programme, overseeing both marketing and administration to maximise future income from gifts in wills.

You will lead a small specialist team and work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as internationally across the Greenpeace network. As Head of Legacy Giving, you will:

• Develop and deliver Greenpeace UK’s legacy giving strategy, driving growth in both pledged and realised income
• Lead and integrate legacy marketing and administration, ensuring a seamless and high-performing programme
• Manage and develop a team of two – Senior Legacy Marketing Officer, Legacy Case Manager – fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

We are looking for a dedicated Night Support Mentor to join us in delivering a person centred and bespoke trauma informed support to women in Luton. This new service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures. 

In this role, as a Night Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

 Responsibilities Include:

• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins.
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals

Governance

• In conjunction with volunteer leads, manage the delivery of the organisation’s restricted funded programmes ensuring project milestones, timescales and financial imperatives are fully met and supporting growth in line with the organisation’s charitable aims.

Communications

• Work with the Director and Deputy Director for Communications and relevant staff members to support delivery of the branch Communications Plan. This will include coordinating internal and external communications as well as maintaining good relationships with volunteers, partners and other Samaritans branches and the Samaritans Charity.
• Maintain relationships with the Samaritans Central Charity in relation to media activity.
• Work with Director to ensure the Branch is represented on suicide prevention partnerships and involved in strategies with local councils and other organisations within the seven boroughs covered by the branch.
• Work with Branch Leadership Team to ensure the Branch is appropriately represented the branch at external events.

Facilities and Office Management

• Oversees the management of the building on behalf of and in consultation with the Trustees and the Office Manager
• Take overall responsibility for the contracting of services to the organisation
• Take responsibility for compliance with Health and Safety Regulations

Hours of work

1. The basic hours of work are 35 hours per week, spread over five working days. There will be a need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities and duties should be carried out during weekdays.

2. The amount of out of hours work will be agreed with the Director on an on-going basis. Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Director and in line with the current European Working Time Directive.

Join our Community Fundraising Team and play an important part in stewarding some of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity’s most dedicated supporters. Line managing the Community Fundraising Assistant, you will effectively steward existing community and corporate supporters, identify new prospects and develop initiatives to engage our audiences.

No two days will ever be the same in this role: one day you might be visiting a golf club or meeting a supporter for a cheque presentation, the next you could be working to grow our ambassador programme, pitching to a corporate team, or finding a new way to engage our supporters. - Deliver best in class stewardship to develop long term relationships

About the role:

Street Outreach & Engagement – Identify and build relationships with rough sleepers and beggars across various locations and times, including those who are disengaged from services.
Assertive Outreach & Support – Work closely with entrenched rough sleepers, encouraging engagement with services and providing rapid assistance.
Substance Use & Healthcare Access – Connect individuals with drug and alcohol support, mental health services, and other healthcare provisions.
Case Management & Housing Support – Oversee service users’ treatment journeys, assist in hospital discharge planning, and collaborate with housing providers to secure appropriate accommodation.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Work – Act as the key link between CGL services, rough sleeping partners, hostels, shelters, the local council, and other support agencies to coordinate care and maximise opportunities for recovery.
Crisis & Emergency Response – Participate in monthly overnight street counts, unsociable-hour shifts, and emergency interventions during severe weather conditions.
Administration & Best Practice – Maintain accurate records, attend case conferences, and contribute to partner tasking meetings to ensure service users receive consistent and effective support.

About you:  

• Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
