Overall job purpose
CCT’s 2025- 30 strategy centres on three strands: Conservation, Community, and Creativity, and we will grow our community of support by listening, regularly collecting feedback, and consistently expressing our gratitude to our volunteers, members, donors, and funders.
The organisation has worked with volunteers for over 50 years, but we recognise that we need to maintain and build these relationships, ensuring we remain relevant and welcoming to anyone who wants to give their time to CCT either informally or in a more defined volunteering role.
The postholder will become CCT’s trusted expert on volunteering, advising colleagues on best practice and ensuring compliance.
Management of volunteers will remain with the local representative, however the postholder will be responsible for ensuring volunteers and Friends Groups follow policy, process and compliance.
The role will work on the following key areas:
· Ensuring that policy and processes are kept up to date, including supporting volunteers and communities with any necessary paperwork
· Deliver regular events, an awards scheme and the annual volunteer survey.
· Develop and support channels of two-way communication between all levels of the CCT and our volunteers
· Support the implementation of the CCT Friends Group policy, including helping groups establish governance structures and adopting policies.
· Assist Local Community Officers in growing volunteer numbers in response to CCT’s KPI 4

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. About You
You are organised, proactive and experienced in delivering successful direct marketing campaigns across channels such as direct mail and email. With excellent planning and project management skills, you can manage multiple campaigns from concept to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
You have strong analytical and numerical skills, enjoy working with data and databases, and use campaign insights to drive continuous improvement. The role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Energy Adviser to support households across London.

Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 21 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service works closely in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team in order to meet individual needs, manage risk and support individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. The service receives referrals primarily from a local hospital emergency department and crisis lines and may receive these referrals at any time of day or night.

The working pattern for this role is: - 7.30am-3pm, 2.30pm-10pm, 7.30am-10pm
What you'll do:
* Supporting the customer to undertake a full timetable of preferred activities including sport and leisure activities, attending community groups, visiting local amenities, and introducing them to new activities to expand their horizons and networks;
* Developing the customer's independent living skills and involving them in all aspects of maintaining and developing their home, including cooking, shopping, cleaning and decorating;
* Enabling the customer to keep up with the important people in their life and to meet new people with shared interests;
* Supporting the customer to communicate their wants and needs, and communicating with them in a person-centred way;
* Supporting the customer to manage their anxieties and frustrations, using Positive Behaviour Support and Autism-specific approaches;
* Collating a range of behavioural data and essential paperwork to be analysed within our local management structure;
* Driving the customer to activities using the customer's vehicle, in rotation with the wider team;
* Communicating with family members and a range of other key stakeholders including social work, psychology and commissioning teams;
