We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to lead and oversee the housekeeping, laundry, portering, gardening, catering, and maintenance teams at Royal Trinity Hospice. This role involves ensuring a safe, compliant, and compassionate environment for patients, staff, tenants, and visitors by maintaining high standards of facilities management.

Overall purpose of the role

• Lead and deliver an effective housekeeping operation ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.
• Deputise for the Head of Facilities when needed to
• Support the delivery of the annual health & safety audits, working collaboratively with consultants and staff to achieve high standards of safety at the hospice.
• Ensure all estates infrastructure work efficiently and effectively, meet the required Trinity standards and fulfil all statutory and regulatory obligations
• In conjunction with Health and Safety Consultants, to ensure the internal and external environment is safe and that all relevant risk management activities (including incident management system) are completed to required standards
• Support the procurement of facilities management service contracts including all planned, preventative maintenance (PPM) requirements ensuring excellent supplier relationship management to hold contractors to account
• Manage and develop ten staff members in the housekeeping department.

 Skills and experience required 

• Vocational qualifications in Facilities Management or Health and Safety (minimum IOSHH or NEBOSH General Certificate, IWFM Diploma, or equivalent).
• A minimum of three years experience in facilities, building services, and health & safety management.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, ideally within a healthcare setting.
• Previous responsibility for fire safety, risk assessments, policies, and audits within a healthcare environment (preferred),
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety standards, infection control protocols, facilities contracts and budget management. Must stay up to date with current legislation.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365.
• Strong analytical skills for managing records, compliance reports, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of Healthcare National Cleaning Standards.
• Waste Management qualifications.
• Familiarity with CQC standards for Estates and Facilities Services.
• Understanding of NHS Litigation Authority Standards for Facilities Infrastructure Services.

About the role:

You will act as the operational lead for safeguarding practice, working closely with Operational Leads, Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) and senior colleagues to drive quality, consistency and continuous improvement. Regular travel across England and Wales expected.

You will:

• Lead the development and improvement of national safeguarding practice, guidance, tools and processes.
• Ensure safeguarding is embedded across all services, aligned to the VS Service Model and EDI commitments.
• Develop and review safeguarding procedures and resources, keeping them accurate, accessible and legally compliant.
• Deliver the Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) Forum and other safeguarding networks.

About the role
As our Engagement Officer, you’ll play a key role in raising awareness of Police Care UK, strengthening relationships across policing and local communities, and supporting events and initiatives that increase engagement, partnerships, and income generation. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Community Services Manager to help create and lead the REST Hubs Service across Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and holistic support for individuals accessing the service who may be experiencing mental distress.

Located in central Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, you will oversee both services, proactively developing both sites into recognised wellbeing hubs within their local communities, building strong partnerships and creating accessible pathways into wider wellbeing support.

You will be responsible for the operational delivery of both sites, including recruiting and managing 6 members of staff, partnership development, contract compliance and reporting, managing health & safety alongside ongoing service development in line with commissioner expectations.

We work with organisations helping to shape a better society, from improving school food and protecting children in war to conserving the ocean.

Our role is to help them express their value more clearly. The issue is not the strength of their work, but how they talk about it: the positioning is too broad, the language too abstract, or the message too full of jargon to connect.

That matters because our clients need to reach more than one audience. They may need to influence policymakers while also building trust with donors, partners, media and others around them.

We help clients define what sets them apart and turn that into a brand that people can understand and respond to. In practice, that means giving them language they can actually use in the policy world, not just something theoretical. It helps them speak about their work clearly and credibly, stand out from similar organisations, and stay on top of mind with the people who shape decisions, so they are better placed to influence policy.

The job

We want a creative brand strategist who treats a brand as a functional tool.

You will help clients, from think tanks to charities to research organisations, move beyond technical sector speak by building end-to-end strategies rooted in research but delivered with a unique voice. You will create the positioning statements and the overall brand architecture that give these organisations a distinct personality, building on their core values to make sure they feel authentic.

We want someone who won’t shy away from testing whether a client should be bold and authoritative, or lead with an emotional narrative to influence the right people. 

What we don’t want is someone comfortable with the bland stuff. We are not looking for someone who imposes their own idea of what a brand should be. The best brand work comes from listening closely to how clients describe what they do, helping them refine and articulate it, and shaping that into something clear and distinctive. The brands you create need to go beyond words; you will create a brand that helps clients live it in practice. 

What we are looking for: 

In addition to the above, you will have: 

• A background in running brand audits, including stakeholder interviews, competitor research, and workshops to identify where a brand sits now and where it needs to go.

• Skill in translating technical policy language into a clear, creative written brand strategy that a client’s communications and design teams can use.

• Confidence in turning strategy into actionable briefs for designers for visual identity development. 

• Experience serving as the main point of contact for clients, managing their expectations, and offering constructive pushback when necessary.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Counselling Psychological Lead to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary adult team at our London Centre.

You will manage and coordinate a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. You will report to the Head of Clinical Services, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

· To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists.

· This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision, support and advice as well as line management and guidance around risk and safeguarding to clinicians across our other centres as required.  

· To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.

· Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.

· To formulate psychological treatment and management plans for survivors of torture and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of psychological interventions in line with our clinical pathway that draws on a range of evidence based models for the treatment of survivors of torture.

· Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

We also offer access to additional therapy training including NET and EMDR,  as well as access to high quality clinical supervision and an opportunity to hold a small case load alongside your management practice

You will also have the opportunity to closely with the Head of Clinical Services and to attend a range of forums and working groups to support the clinical development of Freedom from Torture.

About the Role:

Yorkshire and the Humber is an expansive and innovative region and Victim Support is commissioned across it to provide high quality, person centred services to victims of a range of crimes.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the team as a Senior Operations Manager. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Area Manager and be responsible for and accountable for the delivery and development of services across the region.

You will deputise for the Area Manager across all services and be accountable for agreed elements of the contract review and monitoring processes. You will also develop, implement and manage strategic work and specific projects across the region and will need a good mix of skills to enable them to plan, organise and innovate.

You will have a proven track record of Operational Management preferably within a voluntary sector agency and with some experience of the criminal justice system and the journey of victims of crime.

This role involves regular travel throughout Yorkshire and the Humber from a home base and due to this, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
