Length: 32 weeks, estimated start in May
Salary: London living wage, £26,936 pro-rata
Working Pattern: Full-time, 35hrs Mon – Fri | Staff can opt to work 32hrs over 4 days each week (with either Monday or Friday as a non-working day). The BES is a 4-day work week organisation with no reduction in pay.

Purpose of role: This role will provide the successful applicant with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working in environmental policy and public affairs. You will join our small friendly Policy team working across the BES’s policy priorities, ensuring scientific evidence is accessible to policymakers across the UK. If you have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, demonstrable interest in environmental policy and a desire to learn about the BES’s policy work, we would love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Policy & Research
- Research and prepare a policy briefing on a topic aligned with the BES’s policy strategy.
- Drawing from previous BES publications, help develop and refine the BES’s strategic messaging to support consistent and effective external communications.
- Oversee the policy section of the BES website, including writing expert and engaging blogs and news items, and organising the contribution of external collaborators.
- Working with the communications team, help to develop content to communicate key messages, including webinars, podcasts, newsletter content and social media.
Public Affairs
- Develop a database of contacts and stakeholders to help communicate our key messages.
- Represent the BES, alongside other members of the Policy & External Affairs team, at meetings with external partners, workshops, parliamentary receptions and conferences, building relationships and forging effective partnerships.
- Help with policy event management including policy roundtables, expert workshops, policy training and other online and in-person events.
Support
- Provide support to the BES Policy Committee and our national Policy Groups in England, Wales and Scotland. This includes organising meetings, as well as producing relevant papers, agendas and minutes.

At Single Homeless Project, we believe every young person deserves the chance to build a life beyond crisis. As our Young Person’s Psychotherapist, you’ll play a vital part in making that happen. Working within our in house Psychotherapy team, you’ll provide one-to-one psychotherapy and co-produced psychoeducation groups for young people aged 16–25. About you:
- Experience providing in-person psychotherapy sessions as a qualified Psychotherapist or Psychologist for a minimum of 2 years including substantial post-qualification experience with young people.

- An understanding of psychologically informed environments (PIE) and how service development can be achieved in collaboration with clients, staff team and service management.

- Experience of building trust with young people who may be wary of professionals and create a safe, supportive space.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Director to lead and grow African Revival. This is an opportunity for a hands-on charity leader to strengthen our operations and governance, build sustainable income through fundraising and partnerships, and help expand our impact for children and communities.
Key responsibilities
- Governance & operations: ensure statutory and other reporting requirements are met in the UK and overseas; establish and maintain appropriate policies and procedures; manage day-to-day organisational administration; coordinate and attend Board and committee meetings and prepare papers.
- Leadership & stakeholder management: build and maintain close working relationships with UK and in-country staff, volunteers, trustees, donors and partners; champion a positive, inclusive culture. Help shape the charity’s strategic growth and long-term sustainability

Essential
- Senior leadership experience (in a charity, social enterprise, or non-profit organisation preferred but not essential).

About the Role
The Campaigner will support the development and delivery of campaigns that drive positive change within food systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their campaigning career who is passionate about influencing decision‑makers, mobilising public support, and helping deliver strategic impact across a variety of issues within food systems from dismantling industrial farming to delegitimising large corporations like large supermarket chains. The Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising is a senior role in the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, working alongside the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to drive activities after a significant and sustained investment in this area by the organisation.
The role will lead on the delivery of a multi-channel legacy marketing programme and championing legacy giving across the organisation. Main Duties

We’re seeking a Fundraising Officer to support the growth of all our programmes, services, and campaigns. The role:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of

● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.

This is predominantly an office-based role working closely with the Finance Manager and under the guidance of the CEO, with a strong focus on:
- Bid writing, tender submissions, commissioning applications and grant funding
- Identifying, securing and managing new funding opportunities
- Supporting financial planning, allocation to funded projects
- Fundraising and promoting the charity in the local community
You will lead on the development and continuation of the project-specific funding, ensuring bids and applications align with Women’s Work’s strategic objectives and future expansion plans.
Working collaboratively with the Finance Manager, you will review funding streams, develop robust applications and contribute to the effective financial management of funded activities. You will liaise with businesses, statutory bodies, organisations, community groups and charities to identify and secure new income opportunities, partnerships and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify and secure new funding opportunities, grants and tenders
- Lead and co-ordinate high-quality bid writing, commissioning and tender submissions
- Support the Finance Manager with funding reviews, budgets and financial monitoring
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to organisational planning, sustainability and income diversification
- Ensure funding requirements, reporting and compliance are met
- Event planning/identify and co-ordinate fundraising opportunities
About You
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, detail-focused and high organized, with strong project management and communication skills. You will be able to work collaboratively while also managing competing priorities independently.

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the postholder will play a key role in managing a significant portfolio of partners and prospects, contributing directly to the achievement of ambitious income targets and long-term partnership growth.
You will lead on the development and stewardship of corporate relationships, identifying opportunities to achieve income targets through donations, sponsorship, employee fundraising, volunteering, gift in kind and commercial collaborations.
Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, you will help shape account plans, support pipeline development and contribute insight to partnership strategy, ensuring activity is aligned to hospice priorities and funding needs.
The role requires strong relationship management skills, confidence in presenting and pitching, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships that align with the hospice’s values and funding priorities.
