• Garden‑based wellbeing initiatives – supporting the startup of therapeutic community gardening projects that nurture both people and green space.

We’re seeking someone who can help bring these projects to life—someone who can secure the funding that turns good ideas into real, lasting impact for local people.

About the role:

As our Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering our Fundraising Strategy by:

• securing income through well‑crafted grant applications
• building meaningful, strategic partnerships with local and national businesses

Your work will directly support the growth and sustainability of our community programmes, ensuring we can continue offering the opportunities and experiences that make a real difference.

This is a developmental role, designed to help you grow and thrive professionally. To support your success, you will receive structured mentoring, coaching, and professional development over a 6–9 month period from a senior freelance fundraising specialist. This hands‑on support reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and ensuring you feel confident and equipped to progress in your fundraising career.

What you’ll do:

• Research, prepare, and submit high‑quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
• Build and manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, creating tailored proposals and partnership opportunities.
• Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with funder requirements and fundraising regulations.
• Support marketing and communications for fundraising campaigns and coordinate corporate fundraising events.
• Engage with the people we support to ensure their voices are represented positively and respectfully in bids and reports.

What we’re looking for:

• Educated to A‑Level standard or equivalent, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proven experience in charity fundraising, including successful grant applications and corporate partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, results‑driven approach and commitment to our values.

Desirable:

• Institute of Fundraising (IoF) qualification
• Knowledge of CRM systems
• Experience in community‑based fundraising

We're looking for a Company Secretary and Governance Lead to play a vital leadership role in ensuring our registered charity operates to the highest standards of governance, transparency, and integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Act as Company Secretary for Alzheimer's Society and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements.
• Provide trusted, expert advice to the Chair, Board of Trustees, and Executive Leadership Team on their legal, fiduciary, and regulatory responsibilities.
• Oversee governance arrangements, ensuring effective information flow and clear decision-making structures across the organisation.
• Develop and lead a team of governance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Lead the design and continual improvement of our governance framework, embedding transparency, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making at every level.
• Serve as Whistleblowing Officer for the Society, championing integrity and openness in all governance processes.
• Support the governance team to deliver efficient Board and Committee meetings, forward planning, and statutory reporting.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, helping teams see governance and compliance as enablers of effective, ethical leadership, not obstacles to it.

About You

You're a confident, collaborative leader who brings professional rigour without losing sight of people. You know how to advise senior leaders with authority and earn trust at every level. You can hold the big picture and the detail at the same time, and you genuinely care about the organisation you work for.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Demonstrate a strong track record of advising Boards and senior leaders on governance, compliance, and organisational risk.
• Bring excellent knowledge of charity law, company law, and the UK governance landscape.
• Communicate complex information clearly and credibly, whether to lawyers, trustees, or people who've never read a governance report in their life.
• Lead with authenticity and integrity, building trusted relationships across all levels.
• Drive continuous improvement, simplifying processes and fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
• Lead and develop a small team, championing their collaboration and professional growth.

This role is home-based with occasional travel across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Position: Income and Gift Aid Accounts Senior Officer

About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

About the role

Since 2018, the LRU has grown its membership to over 6000 renters across London.  Through our six branches, we support renters to take action to transform the housing system.  Organising in communities, the LRU runs training, facilitates peer support, takes collective action and campaigns on local issues, to grow our power.

The purpose of this role is to support the growth and collective leadership of our branch members in and around the Lewisham branch. This work will support the union’s fundamental goal of transforming the housing system, in alignment with our values and strategy agreements. The work will include recruiting and activating new members, and facilitating leadership from a broad base of renters, with a particular emphasis on working with those who face the worst impacts of the housing crisis.

You will be part of the LRU staff team alongside 13 other staff, who work with members to build the power of the union by organising, campaigning, training and facilitating peer support and member solidarity actions.  We expect staff to uphold the union's values, and work together to implement collectively agreed strategies.  Each staff member has a line manager, and the staff team are accountable to the elected member Coordinating Group, and to each other.

To provide over-indebted Londoners with free, face-to-face advice that is accurate, effective, and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. To maintain detailed case records, and keep up to date with legislation, policies, and procedures; as well as undertaking appropriate training.

Scope of role

The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, face-to-face debt advice to over-indebted Londoners, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency.

Background

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and engagement.

The Project Officer will implement programme and project activities while also providing strategy and administrative support to the CEO, helping to coordinate organisational priorities and key initiatives.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project implementation

• Working with the Senior Programme Officer and other programme staff, play a central role in the implementation of programme and project activities, in line with donor requirements and organisational strategy, including but not limited to:
  • Logistical planning for events by researching suppliers, gathering quotes, and presenting options to support informed decision-making

o Preparation of events materials.

• • Managing event preparation when hosted in Turkey and abroad (including reserving tickets, arranging accommodation and transportation etc.)
  • Assisting with post-event financial reporting, including gathering receipts, logging expenditure, and supporting accurate allocation of costs in line with internal procedures.
  • Managing programme documentation, including maintaining records and supporting the collection and filing of consent forms.

o Drafting, editing and ensuring timely development, delivery and tracking of all necessary correspondence for DPI events (e.g. prepare agenda, contact speakers etc)

o Ensuring timely write up of the event proceedings (event publication) which requires taking detailed minutes during events, editing and finalisation to a high standard of the event discussions under Chatham House rules.#

o Support colleagues with the development of DPI research products and donor reports.

Strategic and administrative support to the CEO

· Work closely with the CEO on organisational strategy development and implementation of strategic priorities.

· Ensure the implementation of strong internal systems and processes.

· Provide research, drafting and administrative support to the CEO on an ad hoc basis.

· Support the CEO with other activities when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

• 2-3+ years working for an NGO, including supporting project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, English etc) or comparable practical experience.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, and experience developing and/or implementing project strategies.
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team working to tackle youth homelessness. 

This role is funded by the Oak Foundation and forms part of Coram’s Voices in Action programme which combines CCLC’s legal work, Coram Voice’s advocacy support and Coram’s policy and participation work to champion young people’s rights and create change.  It centres and amplifies the voices of young people through our young ambassadors with personal experience of homelessness or school exclusion. The young ambassadors campaign locally and nationally to change policy and practice and empower their peers with knowledge of their rights through workshop delivery and content creation. 

Working with others across the group, the purpose of this specific role is to provide specialist housing law advice, preliminary casework and onward referrals to young people under the age of 25 experiencing housing related issues.  This will include delivering regular outreach advice sessions in partnership with community organisations.  The post holder will work with the Head of Community Care Law on project design, co-ordination, delivery and reporting.  Supported by the Head of Community Care Law, they will be proactive in developing community partnerships and managing relationships with partner organisations.

The role will be integrated within the wider community care and public law team and will be supported by the Head of Community Care Law.  Building on the existing expertise and practice within the team, there will be a particular focus on advising and supporting young people who are care experienced, should have benefited from care or are young migrants.  The aim is to diagnose complex legal issues relating to housing and homelessness, to ensure young people understand their position and legal rights and are either supported to take steps to realise those rights, provided with preliminary casework to resolve issue at early stage, or where needed, referred on for complex casework and litigation either internally or externally.

The role would suit an experienced housing law advisor or caseworker. We welcome applications from solicitors and non-solicitors.  The priority is experience delivering high quality housing law advice and casework sensitively to vulnerable clients with a track record of delivering against project targets and meticulous case management skills. We are looking for a committed, resourceful and determined housing law advisor with a positive and solutions focussed attitude who is able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will be well supported with access to training, supportive line management and will benefit from being part of a wider collaborative legal practice team. They will work closely with a paralegal and be responsible for helping to develop the paralegal’s knowledge and understanding of housing related law.

The role will be based in our offices and with regular advice delivery in outreach locations. However, some remote/ hybrid working may be possible depending on the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period. There may be flexibility over how the three days will be spread across the week (within working hours) and in accordance with the needs of the project.

Responsibilities

As the Governance Operations Officer you will support Sightsavers governing boards, as well as working with UK Board and its sub committees, ensuring that they are provided with a comprehensive and efficient support service, enabling them to discharge their roles. Duties and responsibilities include: 

Board Administration – manage and facilitate the smooth running of all meetings: 

• Preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and their circulation for meetings.

• Booking teleconferences and venues, notifying participants of date and time and providing them meeting details. 

• Liaising with partner organisations on coordinating bookings, accommodation and logistics for physical and hybrid meetings. 

• Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes and circulating these in a timely manner as required. 

Planning and Coordination 

• Scheduling the meetings and ensuring that the specific constitutional conditions of the relevant boards are met. 

• Provide administrative support to the Safeguarding team on record keeping and meetings. 

Insurance 

• Coordinate and assist with the renewal and procurement of Sightsavers Group insurance policies, including life, medical, travel, liability and premises insurance. 

• Manage the record keeping associated with Sightsavers’ insurance policies and any associated claims. 

Governance, Compliance and Risk Management 

• Manage activities related to matters of organisational governance, including the outputs from internal and external governance reviews, changes in legislation, best practice and strategic direction.

• Advise and support on matters of best practice in the area of Charity Governance. 

• Support the Information Security, Compliance and Legal teams on projects relating to data protection, information security and organisational compliance. 

• Support the Human Resources, Safeguarding and Governance teams to strengthen Sightsavers safe recruitment practice. 

Safeguarding and Audit 

• Assist the Internal Audit Manager and the General Counsel with the organisation and process of internal audits

• Support on the collection and presentation of key documentation and information required for internal audits

The primary aim of this role is to help Money and Mental Health secure the income it needs to deliver its mission and further strengthen the charity’s financial footing for the future. This is a crucial role in our new Fundraising team, and the successful candidate will work across all elements of our income generation activities - from grant-writing to donor stewardship and pipeline development.

The role will have a particular focus on securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, but there will also be ample opportunities to engage corporate partners and other prospective funders. 

The successful candidates will have the chance to bring their ideas in terms of identifying new routes to funding for the organisation and shaping our income generation activities.

Key responsibilities:

Funding bids and proposals

• Draft and develop effective and impactful fundraising bids and proposals to secure both grant income and corporate sponsorship

• Project manage the process of developing funding proposals - including completing funding checklists, coordinating the team on relevant deadlines and booking in time for sign off from relevant colleagues.

Relationship management

• Play a key role in donor stewardship alongside Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including grant makers, corporates and individual donors

• Support SLT in identifying - and building relationships with - relevant individuals within prospective funder organisations - including coordinating meetings.

• Ensure we stay on top of our grant requirements, including drafting grant reports and coordinating other team members to fulfil those requirements

• Work with External Affairs team to create excellent supporter journeys for online donors.

Pipeline development

About you:

Essential qualities 

• A proven track record of securing five-figure grants or income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate partners.

• Strong copywriting skills, and the ability to articulate the impact from donations

• Excellent project management skills 

• Solid relationship management skills, with the ability to lead donor stewardship and develop excellent working relationships with key teams internally

• A genuine commitment to the organisation’s mission, as well as to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a busy to-do list
