RideWise is an East Midlands based charity helping people and communities travel more actively, sustainably and confidently. Through cycle training, led rides, community projects and practical support, we make cycling, walking and greener transport more accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Resource Manager to play a key role in the smooth running of our cycle training and sustainable travel services. This is a hands-on coordination role at the heart of our charity, supporting our freelance instructor team, operational systems, project delivery and client relationships.

You will help make sure instructors have the information, resources and support they need, that records and compliance documents are accurate and up to date, and that our services continue to be delivered safely, professionally and effectively. You will work closely with our Project Managers and wider team, helping to keep communication flowing and knowledge shared across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, is confident juggling priorities, and takes pride in making systems work well. You might come from an operations, administration, project coordination, training, community delivery or service support background. Experience in cycling, active travel, charities or community programmes would be helpful, but your organisation, communication skills and practical approach are most important.

The role is home-based, with very occasional travel to Nottingham (around once a year). You will be part of a friendly, purpose-driven team, with the opportunity to learn more about cycle training, Bikeability and sustainable travel delivery. There may also be opportunities to support or take part in cycle instruction, depending on your experience and interests.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-focused and calm under pressure; someone who can work independently while staying connected to a small team. You will be helping RideWise grow its impact, support instructors well, and deliver high-quality services that make a real difference in communities.

About the Roundhouse:
The Roundhouse is a youth charity and independent multi-arts venue based in Camden, London. We've spent the past 20 years shaping the UK’s cultural landscape as a home for world-class music, boundary-breaking theatre, circus, poetry and immersive installations. We're also the UK’s leading creative centre for young people, engaging more than 10,000 young people annually through our creative youth programme. 

The Role:

This role is a part-time permanent contract designed to provide admin and practical support around donor-facing events and comms. It has been created to support reaching ambitious targets in our 20th anniversary year and beyond, contributing to the P&P team's goals of driving £2 million in income growth across the business plan to 2028. 

The role will enable our P&P team to focus on philanthropic relationship building,  and support the administration of our impactful, high-quality cultivation and stewardship events calendar, as well as general supporter stewardship. The role will also work closely with our Finance and Data teams to keep organisational knowledge up to date, in line with best practice and the fundraising code, to ensure a smooth donor experience.

Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.

About you:

This role would suit someone detail-oriented, with strong organisational and planning skills and excellent customer service. They will be able to communicate clearly across all levels of stakeholders, internally and externally, and thrive as part of a fast-paced team. They will have experience of using CRM databases (ideally Tessitura) and be confident handling data. This is a varied role, which will span various events and different groups of supporters.

Tech Angels is a service that aims to reduce digital exclusion across Surrey. These days so much connection happens digitally; those without the knowledge or equipment to connect to the internet are at a very high risk of loneliness and isolation, which have a significant negative impact on physical and mental health.

To combat this, we provide devices on long term loan to people who are disabled or living with a health condition, family carers, of older age, or to those with another vulnerability. We also offer a ‘match’ with one of our team of volunteer Tech Angels, to help with digital literacy and confidence.  We also supply those who do not have WiFi access with a data sim card so that they can be connected. 

The purpose of the role is to take ownership of the full delivery of the service, coordinating referrals from initial enquiry through to completion. This includes managing volunteers, supporting service users, and ensuring all elements of the service run effectively so that people facing digital exclusion receive the support they need to get and stay connected.

Currently we have funding for East Surrey, Surrey Downs and Elmbridge therefore most of the travel required will be to these areas.

Main Responsibilities

Person specification

It is essential that you have:

Ronald McDonald House UK is seeking a proactive and creative Mass Participation Events Manager to lead the delivery and growth of our mass participation portfolio. The role will lead on the strategy, performance and delivery of our challenge events programme, ensuring events achieve agreed income and participation targets and work closely with the Head of Mass Engagement to shape and test future Ronald McDonald House UK owned mass participation events, supporting sustainable, diversified income growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Event strategy and planning

• Develop and deliver a clear strategy for challenge and mass participation events, aligned to fundraising targets and audience engagement objectives
• Identify and assess new event opportunities, including third party and bespoke challenges, to diversify and grow income
• To play a key role in developing new events, taking them to market and adopting a test and learn approach in collaboration with the Head of Mass Engagement and wider Engagement Directorate

Event delivery and logistics

• Support the Senior Event Fundraiser to lead the end-to-end management of events, including budgeting, planning, supplier coordination, risk management, and on-the-day execution
• Ensure all events are delivered to a high standard, providing an exceptional experience for supporters

Supporter engagement and stewardship

• Build strong relationships with event participants, providing excellent supporter experience and tailored stewardship journeys
• Support the development, delivery of and evaluation of effective supporter journeys across the events portfolio, focused on maximising net return and supporter retention
• Create and develop engaging communications and materials to inspire fundraising and deepen supporters’ connections to the charity

Marketing and promotion

• Lead the delivery of an audience and insight led events marketing programme, working closely with the Brand, Communications and Digital Engagement team to maximise participation and net return
• Keep abreast of income and data trends across the sector to help inform future activities and events fundraising programmes

Monitoring and evaluation

• Agree and deliver against ambitious income and acquisition targets, maintaining costs within agreed budgets
• Set, manage and report against budgets, milestones and KPIs across the events portfolio, demonstrating accountability for performance
• Use data and insight to evaluate event performance, inform decision making and continuously improve participant experience
• Produce regular performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders

Collaboration and partnership

• Work closely with senior managers and colleagues across the department to maximise opportunities for collaboration and integrated delivery
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to - McDonald’s Relationship Team, House teams, fundraising partners, suppliers, and third party event organisers

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• A proven track record of excellent management of an event portfolio to meet income and acquisition targets
• Experience of delivering data and insight led marketing and stewardship programmes to drive acquisition and net income
• Experience of managing multiple projects with complex budgets, multiple stakeholders and stretching KPIs.
• Line management and team development experience
• Knowledge of health and safety, risk management in event delivery and fundraising compliance

Desirable

• Experience of virtual fundraising and development of new events
• Ability to plan, prioritise and balance a busy and varied workload

The National Flood Forum (NFF) is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual for the role Flood Engagement Officer – Thames Valley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with communities, especially those at risk of flooding.

Key Details:

• Location: Home-based (Thames Valley), with regular travel across the Thames Valley including evening meetings and occasional overnight stays.
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The role

We’re seeking an Events Assistant to join our fantastic Events team!

This role will be responsible for supporting the Events team by delivering a range of administrative tasks related the smooth running of our events programme, including delivering marketing and stewardship plans, and supporting with supporter journeys that maximise engagement, increase registrations and improve retention. 

You will gain experience in:

• Supporting the execution of some of the biggest challenge events in the UK, such as Brighton Marathon, as well as large virtual challenges.
• Delivering insight led and multi-channel supporter journeys.
• Working collaboratively with other high performing teams within Pancreatic Cancer UK, such as: Marketing and Communication, Supporter Care and Data.
• Build relationships and work with our supporters, agencies, and suppliers.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior IT Technician to oversee IT support services and project-related activities across a number of our successful secondary academies in Greenwich, Bexley, Thurrock and Havering.

As a roaming technician, you will provide flexible support to cover short-term absences, vacancies, or to offer additional assistance as needed. This approach ensures the continued delivery of high-quality, ITIL-aligned IT services to our customers.

You will be providing support to Harris Academy Falconwood, Harris Academy Greenwich, Harris Academy Riverside, Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Rainham Sixth Form, Harris Academy Chafford Hundred, and Harris Academy Ockendon.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality technical IT support, advice and guidance to staff, students and head office employees where necessary
• Ensuring IT Support needs are logged appropriately on the Service Management system, retaining ownership of IT support tickets and ensuring users are kept updated
• Ensuring that IT support tickets are resolved within the target resolution time
• Re-routing and/or escalting IT support tickets to the appropriate team as necessary
• Identifying, implementing and documenting workarounds for desktop related problems within the Knowledgebase.
• Identifying recurring IT incidents and performing root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause
• Notifying key contacts within the Federation and Academies under your care on detection of a major incident affecting the service or our ability to deliver a service
