About the role
We are looking for someone to join our service at South Camden Mental health Accommodation services as a Support Worker (known internally as a Project Worker). Across our service, we support people in High and low support accommodation who have a mental health diagnosis and other complex needs. We are committed to working with a Recovery Based Approach and supporting people to meet their individual needs.
Current Vacancies:
South Camden Mental Health Service: rota-based covering early (8am - 4pm), and late (2.15pm-10.15pm) shifts, plus weekends and bank holidays on rotation.
What you'll be doing
In the role of Project Worker, you will support clients on their journey toward increased independence. You will manage a caseload of residents, helping them develop the skills and confidence required to move on to appropriate longer‑term or independent accommodation. The role focuses on empowering residents to build on their strengths, develop practical life skills, and maintain independence in the community.
About You
Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. If you have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people; personal experience of homelessness yourself and some experience of supporting vulnerable people through a process of change, we encourage you to apply.
You'll also need good interpersonal and listening skills; patience and resilience. We will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.

Salary: £28,800

About the Role
We're looking for a Night Support Worker to join our night team in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our male residents and participants into the community. In this role, you will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions to enable successful resettlement. You will also collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes.
Our Complex Needs Accommodation provides supported accommodation, bespoke person-centred care and support as well as intensive housing management services in the community for adults with specific accommodation and well-being support needs. You will ensure the smooth running of the night service by conducting welfare checks, supporting residents, and handling any issues that arise. The role includes completing administrative tasks and providing thorough handovers with day staff and managers to maintain consistent service.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
- Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
- Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
- Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
- Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service

We are currently looking for an Assistant Support Worker (known internally as Duty Worker) to join our Hammersmith & Fulham pathway. You will be based at the Coninghams; a 31 bed complex needs project.
The Coninghams is a fast‑paced service grounded in the Recovery Model and delivered within a psychologically informed environment. We support vulnerable people to manage and recover from a wide range of needs, including substance use, mental and physical health challenges, criminal justice involvement, budgeting, tenancy sustainment, and daily living skills.
In the pivotal role of Duty Worker, you will work on four weekly shift based pattern to support with the day to day running of the project including but not limited to overseeing set weekly H&S tasks, managing repairs, leading on and planning day to day appointments, at The Coninghams we offer our duty workers the opportunity to lead in a clients support and or to co-keywork.
You will often be the first person that our clients, contractors and visitors come into contact with, you will work closely with project workers, night staff, manager and external professionals to ensure the effective day to day running of the project.

We are wanting to recruit a motivated and experienced support and recovery worker to support homeless and vulnerable guests at our daily drop-in, and in Hope House - our 4 bed supported house
Responsibilities
Our support workers both work with guests in both Drop-in and in Hope House, but each takes a lead responsibility in one or the other of these projects. This post holder leads on the housing management responsibilities for Hope House.
Drop-in responsibilities :
· Welcome and assess first time guests, identifying priority needs.
· Signpost and support guests to access key statutory and voluntary services, especially housing, benefits, homelessness services etc
· Provide practical support and advice to guests , for example with helping with forms, bill enquiries, budgeting .
Hope House responsibilities
- Vet the suitability of potential residents and support them with their transition in/out of Hope House
· Hold weekly individual support sessions with residents
· Ensure tailored support plans (using Homeless Outcomes Star) are in place for each resident
· Identify “next step” housing options for residents and work with the residents to access these.
Oversee the safe and efficient running of Hope House, taking into account any relevant Supported Housing/ HMO specific requirements.

The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). The service comprises of Look Ahead staff, ELFT staff, and Tower Hamlets Mental Health VCSE Alliance, formed of 17 local VCSE organisations. The Barnsley Street Project operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. It provides a variety of psychosocial and clinical interventions, including the provision of 6 Hospitality Beds for short term support and intervention.
Support Workers within the Barnsley Street Project will be expected to support individuals requiring support from the local community that walk in to the service and those staying in our hospitality beds. This support may include providing tailored and co-produced practical, emotional, trauma-informed support to individuals with a variety of challenges relating to their mental health. This may include the management of symptoms, social support, navigating benefits and welfare systems, practical skills and signposting to specialist services in the local authority for intensive or specific support as required.
What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve individual goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
- Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine
- Supporting customers to maintain a healthy environment and where appropriate assisting them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene
- Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
- Managing customer referrals, completing assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork
- Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes

In our Women’s Respite Service in Camden, you’ll be working with women who have faced abuse, exploitation and homelessness, often after systems have let them down. Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. What You’ll Bring

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker for a fixed term period of up to 12 months, on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Kentown Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Kentown Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.
What we’re looking for:

We are looking for two compassionate and reliable Senior Wellbeing Support Workers to support the delivery of our new REST Hub Service in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich providing holistic support for individuals accessing the service who may be experiencing mental distress.
You will lead the day-to-day running of the service and provide operational oversight, manage volunteers, and support staff to ensure safe, consistent and high-quality support.
