The Collaborative Arts Organiser will sit at the heart of Himmah's cultural work, working onthe design, oversight and delivery of collaborative and participatory arts, narrative and heritage projects that bring communities together across race and class. The post-holder will be primarily based with the Race and Class Arts Lab, while contributing across all three Hubs of
the Race, Arts and Heritage strategy.

The Lunch Club is looking for a compassionate and community-minded Link Worker to join our small, dedicated team.

We provide nutritious meals and a welcoming space for people facing food poverty and social isolation in Streatham. As demand continues to grow, we are deepening the support we offer, and this new role will play an important part in that.

About the role
This is an important and meaningful role, working within our Friday lunch session. You will build trusted relationships with people we support, offering one-to-one support, signposting, and gentle guidance to help people access the services they need. This might include support around housing, finances, wellbeing, or connecting into local services.

We expect this role to grow over time to other days as our capacity develops.

Rape Crisis England & Wales is the feminist charity working to end child sexual abuse, rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual violence.

We are looking for a Finance Officer who can work in a fast paced and demanding role to support the organisation. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial. This role is responsible for ensuring that all financial matters are handled responsibly and involves processing transactions and journals, supporting month-end close, preparing financial reports for team members, and checking financial transactions for corrections and coding errors.

You will support payment runs on a bi-weekly basis and assist with payroll preparation, working closely with the Freelance Finance Manager and colleagues across the organisation.

This role follows a remote working arrangement, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer/Head of Operations and will involve working with colleagues across the organisation on the following tasks

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain books of prime entry, to include managing receipts and invoices and associated financial records, files and supporting documentation.

· Process accounts payable end-to-end, ensuring accurate and timely payment of all authorised expenditure (bi-weekly payment runs).

· Prepare sales invoices as required and support credit control to ensure debtors pay promptly.

In this role, you will support residents who have a history of forensic mental health issues with co morbidity, often alongside co-occurring substance misuse disorders. The residents range from high risk to low support and our aim is to provide tailored support to help them reintegrate into the community. 

As a  Complex Needs Recovery Worker, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. • Confidently report issues to the police when necessary and work closely with probation officers to ensure residents meet their legal and rehabilitation requirements.
• Create an empowering and enabling environment where individuals are supported to make informed decisions and take control of their own lives.
• Support residents in accessing primary healthcare services, including arranging GP appointments and liaising with mental health professionals.

Experience in mental health or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. • Previous professional or lived experience supporting people with forensic mental health and complex needs, ideally in mental health and residential setting
• Experience working with people with complex backgrounds, including ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, or challenging behaviour and an understanding of housing and social needs
• Ability to engage with people from different backgrounds, build rapport, and empower them to achieve their personal goals

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Humanitarian, the Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy Lead is senior position that will lead Christian Aid’s humanitarian programme policy and advocacy work, aligning with organisational values and goals to maximise impact.

The post-holder will be responsible for shaping, leading and promoting our humanitarian policy and advocacy, and will represent Christian Aid at the global level in raising the organisation’s visibility and influencing humanitarian policy and practice.

The role will be Christian Aid’s representative at the humanitarian leadership level within the DEC and will work with the Head of Humanitarian in engagement with the ACT Alliance, and will enable our Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) leadership team to develop and deliver humanitarian programming that brings about positive change in humanitarian action and practice.

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy Lead include:

• Lead on the development of Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy and ensure it is aligned with the overall Policy and Influencing strategy and connected across the Impact Department and wider organisation.
• Develop and implement best practice in humanitarian response across MCCs, providing sector experience to support teams and ensure an enabling culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Identify and source technical support for MCCs and partners where needed in our humanitarian signature priority programme areas, making the best use of limited resources.
• Act as a key influencer in sector policy and practice with regards to level of support to locally led responses amplifying impact.
• Drive an increased visibility of Christian Aid and the work of partners across regional and global platforms, looking for opportunities to share learning and amplify impact.
• Foster and build on our strong and dynamic relationship with the DEC, evidence of high performance across DEC appeals.
• Lead engagement with international humanitarian policy forums and stakeholders to drive meaningful change and improvements in the humanitarian eco system with reference to humanitarian advocacy priorities around localisation, accountability to affected populations, disaster resilience, anticipatory action, survivor-led response and cash-based responses to emergencies.
• Ensure learning and feedback is captured and promoted to enable a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Foster a culture of innovation where Christian Aid is on the front foot in developing and piloting new people-centred humanitarian approaches that build on existing progressive ways of working.
• Deputises for the Head of Humanitarian in their absence.
