Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough. 

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members. 

• Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals. 

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities. 

• Support members to access benefits, services, and resources that promote financial stability, health, and independence. 

• Refer members to Shine’s Health team, internal specialists, or external agencies as appropriate. 

• Develop age-specific groups and peer support networks to reduce isolation and encourage social interaction. 

• Recruit and support Shine volunteers. 

• Contribute to regional and national events (face-to-face and virtual) based on member needs and interests. 

• Represent Shine at conferences, provide information, raise awareness among professionals, external organisations, and the public through presentations and training. 

• Promote Shine membership to individuals with relevant conditions. 

• Maintain accurate records using Shine’s CRM (Salesforce database).

The generosity of individual supporters, churches and community groups enables Boaz Trust to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer who will help us give supporters an excellent experience, maintain accurate fundraising records and develop opportunities for people and communities to get involved in our work. This is an exciting role which will give the right person the opportunity to work across a variety of fundraising activities and disciplines. 

The relationships built and fundraising activity enabled through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Our work includes providing safe accommodation and person-centred support, while working towards our mission of ending destitution among people seeking sanctuary.

Day to day, you will provide excellent care for supporters as you process and acknowledge donations, respond to supporter enquiries and ensure that our fundraising database is functioning well and information is recorded accurately in it. You will build positive relationships with supporters, churches and community groups, arrange and deliver speaking engagements, promote sponsored events and help people find meaningful ways to raise funds for Boaz. You will work also closely with colleagues to deliver fundraising projects across the breadth of Boaz’s fundraising activity as and when these arise. 

We are looking for someone who is warm, organised and attentive to detail, and who enjoys building relationships with a wide range of people. You will be confident communicating by email, telephone and in person, comfortable working with databases and financial information, and able to manage a varied workload. Most importantly, you will be thoughtful and collaborative, and aligned with Boaz’s values and our commitment to the dignity and rights of people seeking sanctuary.

Job Summary

As our Corporate and Community Partnerships Fundraiser, you will build meaningful relationships with businesses, community organisations and local people across Bristol, generating sustainable income and long-term support through corporates, community fundraising and events.

You will secure long-term, mutually beneficial income from the corporate sector across a range of disciplines and formats, including long-term partnerships, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing and sponsorship. You will develop and secure new partnerships with Bristol's businesses, while nurturing and account managing existing partnerships.

Alongside this, you will grow support within the local community by developing relationships with organisations such as clubs, schools and faith groups. You will also encourage individuals, groups and organisations to support Caring in Bristol through community fundraising initiatives and events.

You will be responsible for researching key prospective sectors, companies and organisations, sector activities and the business marketplace, to compile lists of key targets, as agreed with the Public Fundraising Manager.  You will develop and manage an ongoing pipeline of prospects, that have a clearly defined target outcome and value.

Key responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships

· Alongside the Public Fundraising Manager develop and manage Caring in Bristol’s approach to corporate fundraising, delivering the agreed targeted income 

· Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners, providing exceptional supporter care and delivering successful partnerships

· Research, approach and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, managing a pipeline of corporate fundraising activity including charity of the year partnerships, staff fundraising payroll giving and business donations for example

· Provide written reports to corporate partners as required

· Develop new streams of income derived from businesses such as cause related marketing, sponsorship, and events

· Support in the development of an alternative ask such as pro bono support and skills-based volunteering

· Work closely with the Public Fundraising Manager and the Senior Communications Lead to maximise the effectiveness of engagement and stewardship in supporting the development of existing and prospective relationships

· Develop, write and present persuasive and innovative proposals in conjunction with colleagues

· Confidently present the key messages of Caring in Bristol when required, and encourage support via a variety of media including informal conversations, networking, presentations, written literature and website copy.

Community Organisations

· Alongside the Public Fundraising Manager, develop and manage Caring in Bristol’s approach to working with community organisations, delivering the targeted income

· Manage a portfolio of existing community partners, providing exceptional supporter care and delivering successful partnerships

· Research, approach and develop new community partnership opportunities, managing a pipeline of corporate fundraising activity

· Develop a clear and defined schools’ proposition to enable engagement, especially around the Christmas Appeal each year

· Develop an approach to working with faith-based organisations such as churches, congregations, fellowships and other faith-based groups

Administration

· Ensure the Donorfy database is kept up to date and accurate

· Manage and maintain core social media channels, working with project leads and frontline staff and the income generation team to ensure news and events are communicated effectively and regularly, and engaging with stakeholders online

· Manage and provide recognition both online and in print for supporters and partners where appropriate

Other Responsibilities

· From time to time, support other fundraising income streams and activities across the Fundraising Team, in line with the needs of the charity.

· Alongside your income generation colleagues, to take responsibility for ensuring our office environment is a healthy, positive and professional space to work

Personal Specification

We expect you to meet most of these criteria. However, we don’t expect you to meet every point and welcome applicants with transferrable skills and an ability to apply themselves in a new context.

Essential

· Proven experience securing fundraising income. Experience in corporate partnerships, community fundraising or events is preferred, although experience in other fundraising disciplines (such as trusts and foundations, major donors or individual giving) will also be considered.

· Excellent relationship and account management, networking and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire audiences and build and maintain strong partnerships.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling fundraising proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.

As our CRM & Insights Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us understand and engage our supporters more effectively. You'll take ownership of our CRM database (Donorfy), ensuring our data is accurate, secure and well managed, while producing the insights that shape fundraising and marketing decisions. Your work will directly support supporter acquisition, retention and engagement, helping us raise more funds to improve animal welfare across the globe.

Working within our Marketing Team and reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance and technology to develop reporting, build audience segments, analyse campaign performance and continuously improve how we use data throughout the organisation.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

CRM Oversight

• Lead on and administer Donorfy, ensuring accurate and up-to-date supporter records.
• Maintain excellent data quality, integrity and compliance

About the role

The Fundraising Strategy and Operations team delivers high quality operations support to the wider Fundraising Directorate including Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications, and Supporter Care.

The role sits within our friendly and dedicated Supporter Care team. In addition to providing operations support to the Fundraising Directorate, the team provides a high standard of customer service to Centrepoint supporters and members of the public.

About the Role

The Fundraising Events Executive will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the Harlequins Foundation's events programme. Working closely with the Head of Programmes, Partnerships and Events and the Partnerships Manager, you will help deliver engaging, high-quality events that raise awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships and generate fundraising opportunities.

Acting as a first point of contact for supporters and fundraisers, you will provide excellent stewardship and administrative support while helping to ensure events are delivered professionally, safely and efficiently. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines event planning, supporter engagement, logistics coordination and on-the-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of a range of fundraising and engagement events.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to raise funds and support our life-saving mission.

This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. Occasional travel to our Perth base will be required for the successful candidate. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

About You

Essential

• Proven experience managing CRM systems in a charity or fundraising context and being comfortable working with large datasets.

• Experience with data segmentation, ETL processes, transformation and import / export processes.

• Strong understanding of data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR).

• Understanding of Gift Aid regulations and charity fundraising compliance.

• Confident using query tools and an understanding of query-based data extraction.

• Strong IT skills with competency using the MS Office suite and Excel in particular.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and support non-technical colleagues.

• Ability to analyse and translate data into clear findings for campaigns and reporting, including donor value analysis.

It’s been a successful few years for the Events & Community team with good results across the board, increasing income by over £1 million every year since 2023. And we recently won Fundraising Charity of the Year at the National Fundraising Awards 2026!

Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.

This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.

You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.

You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. We have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based, remote or hybrid, although the Events team currently try to work together once a week when possible, at our office in Chancery Lane, London. You’d also be needed to travel to team building and strategy days in London on an ad-hoc basis, and to supporter events across the UK when required.

Key Responsibilities

At PCR, we make team members’ development a key priority and there is always a % of time available to collaborate more widely for your development and interest. However, your main focus will initially be:

Project management and income growth

· Create and lead a plan to implement a proactive community fundraising portfolio, identifying new approaches to test and audiences to target which build towards a long-term sustainable income stream, ensuring alignment with the Public Fundraising strategy.

· Design and deliver ambitious fundraising budgets for your area which contribute net income towards PCR’s mission.

· Lead the project management and delivery of the community fundraising and events activities you are responsible for.

This will include monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure opportunities are seized & risks are minimised.

· Carry out supporter data and income processing tasks as required, including on the CRM and other internal systems.

· Work with the team to create and deliver effective marketing plans which meet recruitment targets.

· Analyse results based on KPIs & supporter feedback, proactively implementing changes & improvements.

· Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.

Stewardship and relationship management

· Lead on the delivery of a great supporter experience for community fundraisers in line with our Public Fundraising manifesto, motivating fundraisers to raise more and remain loyal supporters of PCR.

· Interact with supporters via a range of communication channels and in-person, attending events and presenting about PCR’s work when required. This will include travel, for which TOIL will be given and reasonable expenses covered.

· Lead on relationship management for your area, spotting potential for fundraisers to have a greater impact with PCR as a whole, and working with colleagues in Philanthropy, Partnerships, Patient Projects & across the organisation to achieve this.

· Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel and JustGiving, for which training will be provided.

· Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high-quality fundraising merchandise.

Product development and innovation

· Seize new opportunities for products, journeys or events which would engage a community fundraising audience, taking a test & learn approach. For this, there will be realistic budgets & an understanding of the investment needed for new ideas.

· Stay up to date with sector trends and maintain a strong understanding of PCR’s existing (and target) supporters to create and implement products and experiences that motivate and inspire.

· Use feedback and data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR.

· Work to engage supporters beyond their initial activity, testing ongoing journeys and maximising their life-time value for PCR.

Teamwork

· Alongside line managers within the team, help to oversee the relevant day-to-day work of the Supporter Engagement Officer/ Assistants who are supporting your activities, to ensure effective delivery and collaboration.

· Contribute to team strategy and capacity planning.

· Work with the team to embed our agile ways of working, modelling the principle of collective responsibility.

· Contribute to the improvement of relevant processes & infrastructure to ensure efficiency, compliance & best practice.

· Attend and actively contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings that might be useful for the wider team.

· Model PCR’s organisational values: innovation, collaboration, accountability & empathy (championing the patient voice).

The Community Fundraising & Events Manager may also get involved with other work to support Public Fundraising activities as appropriate. Attendance will be required at weekend and evening events, for which TOIL will be given.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would be proactive team player, with:

· A willingness to get stuck in, eagerness to learn and strong sense of personal accountability.

· First class relationship management skills, with an ability to build rapport and to choose the right method at the right time in order to inspire a range of audiences through great stewardship and storytelling.

· Great written and oral communication skills, and an ability to present PCR’s work confidently in front of an audience.

· Strong event and project management skills, including end-to-end planning, budgeting & results tracking.

· The ability to see opportunities and drive progress within existing activity – and finding our next successful ones!  

· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities, identifying the most valuable use of your time.

· An ability to oversee others’ work, to delegate effectively, and to give constructive feedback aligned with goals.

· Good attention to detail and IT Skills, with the ability to use relevant tools and a CRM database (training will be provided).

· A good understanding (or ideally experience) of community fundraising or similar peer-to-peer fundraising activity.

Senior Peer Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, who have direct lived experience of mental health issues, are working on in-patient wards in Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth to provide recovery-focused peer support to people as they leave hospital and journey towards living independently in the community.

We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham, using personal lived experience of mental health difficulties to provide person-centred, recovery-focused peer support to people on hospital wards and as they are discharged to journey towards being settled in the community. This role will also line manage a Peer Support Worker, providing regular supervision and support, annual appraisals and development opportunities.

The Senior Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.

Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.

This position requires building connections with service users through shared experiences of mental health challenges, making lived experience a crucial requirement for applicants. You will also need to have previous experience of line management/managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system with a specific focus on Substance Use and Trauma. 
• Design, coordinate and deliver one to one and group interventions to assist women to achieve their goals.
