Our support will improve their health and wellbeing and enable them to move away from the streets.

Therefore, Trauma Informed Care lies at the heart of everything we do.
Working with the Daylight Service Manager, you will manage a team of staff and volunteers to set up, pilot and deliver this vital new service in a central London location. The service will include a combination of practical facilities such as showers and a laundry, health and wellbeing resources to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support to move into accommodation. You will use this experience to build relationships of trust with clients. This will include a commitment to embedding co-production so that the service continues to improve and evolve. You will also set up and oversee a group work programme. You will provide strength-based and solution focused one to one support for women to move away from the streets.

Introducing SOS UK
SOS UK is a UK based charity transforming education so people protect the climate and nature.
Our education system helped cause the climate and nature crisis, but now we’re making it the solution. We are fighting to make sure everyone develops a commitment to protecting the earth and puts it to work – whether it’s at school, university or in their careers.
By empowering students and educators to build a better world, we can transform the lives of generations to come. In just a few years we have developed unstoppable student leaders. Behind these leaders every step of the way is the SOS UK community making sure students don’t have to fight for change alone. We unite people from every background, inside and outside education, because protecting our earth matters to each and every one of us.

Our education system helped cause the climate and nature crisis, but now we’re making it the solution.
We're at a pivotal moment. As we close out one organisational strategy and launch a bold new direction, we need someone to rethink our social channels from the ground up. With a combined following of 600k+ across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, our youth mental health content sparks millions of engagements a year. This role is a rare chance to take a subject impacting 1 in 5 young people under 25 and turn it into content our audiences actively follow, engage with and feel part of. You'll have real strategic aptitude, a talented team of two ready to be led, and a mandate to be bold.
About this role
The Social Media Manager will own and evolve YoungMinds' social media strategy from the ground up, leading a small, passionate team to create standout, community-led content for a highly engaged audience of 600k+. Our channels are increasingly critical to reaching young people and the parents and adults in their lives - and this role sits right at the centre of mobilising them around our new organisational direction, using insight and creative instinct to reach the people who need us most.
You'll take an audience-first, insight-led approach - finding the right tone and format for every platform. Never clinical. Never performative. Always rooted in genuine community and support. You'll work in a true test-and-learn environment, free to experiment, take creative risks and push our social presence further than it's ever gone.
