About the role
This is a pivotal appointment at an important moment in Durham's fundraising journey.
The Head of Principal Giving will focus on developing and securing transformational philanthropic support from some of the University's most significant donors and prospects. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, senior academic leaders, Campaign Board members and influential volunteers, you will help shape the next phase of principal giving at Durham.
You will manage a carefully selected portfolio of high-potential relationships, leading conversations that result in seven- and eight-figure gifts. Job Purpose
The Head of Corporate Partnerships is accountable for delivering substantial and sustained income growth from the private sector, with clear ownership of income targets, pipeline strength and conversion performance.

The Role
Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Liverpool.
· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)
· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.
About You
You will have:
· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)
· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice
· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation
· Experience of delivering short-term counselling
· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment
· A flexible approach to hours and working arrangement, being able to work independently.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. You must live in the Liverpool area to fulfil this travel requirement. To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

As part of our new organisational strategy, we are launching a major programme focused on raising awareness of blood clot (VTE) risk during pregnancy and the postpartum period. The opportunity
This is not a traditional PR brief. We are looking for someone who can think strategically while also delivering practical communications activity across multiple channels.
The consultant will work alongside Thrombosis UK staff who already deliver digital communications, social media, volunteer engagement and patient support. Creates and produces distinctive visual content for Trussell, including photography, film, animation and short-form social content. Lambeth Palace Library is the historic library and archive of the Archbishops of Canterbury and the principal repository for the archives of the national bodies of the Church of England. Role Overview
