Trusts Executive

Prospectus is supporting the Army's national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families in times of need. Founded in 1944, this charity provides a lifetime of support to serving soldiers, former soldiers, and their families when they need it most, helping them to avoid hardship and live with independence and dignity. The team is now looking to appoint a Trusts Executive and Prospectus is leading the search.

Trusts Executive

Permanent contract, full-time (35 hours per week)

London / Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)

£38,399 per annum

The Trusts Executive will join the charity's successful Trusts and Foundations function, supporting delivery across the programme and helping to grow income through excellent donor stewardship, high-quality proposals and reporting, and proactive prospect development. Working closely with the Trusts Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of existing Trusts and Foundations supporters, while building a strong pipeline of prospective funders through research and relationship development. You'll also collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, welfare, communications and marketing, and regional teams to understand and present ABF's work and impact in a compelling way.

The selected candidate will bring strong written communication skills, excellent organisation, and a confident, proactive approach to managing multiple priorities. You'll ideally have experience in fundraising (particularly in a Trusts and Foundations or wider high-value context), and be able to build relationships, steward funders effectively, and support the development of persuasive applications, including to cold prospects. An interest in supporting the charity's mission and the Army family is essential.
