You will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising activity, including appeals, regular giving, lottery and legacy campaigns, helping to secure sustainable income growth and engagement for Tŷ Hafan.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you will use insight, analysis and creativity to deliver excellent supporter experiences and maximise campaign performance. About you:
You are an experienced direct marketing, fundraising or supporter engagement professional with a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns that generate income and build lasting supporter relationships. Our employee benefits:
Ty Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own. Sadly, we know that thousands of families in Wales are struggling alone through the fear, exhaustion and uncertainty that comes with caring for a child whose life will be short. We believe that no family should have to live this on their own and we are determined to walk alongside every family through life, death and beyond.
At Tŷ Hafan we are experts at caring for children with life-shortening conditions and our services support families in our hospice, in community settings, local hospitals and in families’ homes. We understand that the needs of each child and their family are unique and we know that caring for a child with a life-shortening condition is often extremely demanding. Our aim is to make sure that no one doing this is alone. Our colleagues, volunteers and supporters are crucial in the delivery of our ambition – we know that everyone plays a huge part in making sure that no family faces their child’s short life alone.
Our Vision: A Wales where every child with a life-shortening condition lives a fulfilling life, supported with the compassion and specialist care they and their family need.
Our Purpose: No family should have to face the unimaginable loss of their child alone. With children and families at the heart of all we do, we provide free care and support in our hospice and in the community, offering a lifeline throughout the child’s short life, at end of life, through bereavement and beyond.
Our Values: At Tŷ Hafan we make a difference by living our values: Demonstrating Compassion, Providing Excellent Service, Working Together and Taking Ownership.
Tips for candidates – all applications and interviews will be assessed using the person specification included within the job description. Please see attached candidate pack for further guidance.
Our recruitment system will automatically time out after 120 minutes of inactivity. To ensure your application is submitted successfully, we recommend either saving your progress as you go or preparing your responses in a Word document and copying them into the application form. At CHAS, every fundraising campaign has a purpose beyond clicks, conversions and ROI. The income you help generate will support children with life-shortening conditions and the families who love them across Scotland.
We're looking for a creative, curious and ambitious Fundraising Campaigns Coordinator to help deliver inspiring fundraising campaigns that engage supporters, grow income and help ensure every family who needs CHAS can access our care. You’ll be joining the team at a unique and critical time as we seek to deliver the More Than A Hospice Appeal, a £20m capital appeal to transform how Scotland cares for children with life-shortening conditions.
You'll work closely with the Fundraising Campaigns Manager and colleagues across CHAS to deliver multi-channel fundraising and supporter acquisition and retention campaigns, helping to plan, execute, optimise and report on activity across a range of channels.
From digital lead generation and email marketing to supporter journeys, face-to-face fundraising and direct mail appeals, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on campaigns that reach thousands of supporters across Scotland and that seek to ensure that no family should face the death of their child alone.
You'll also:
This role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, to support our Fundraising Campaigns while the current post-holder undertakes a maternity cover secondment elsewhere within CHAS.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have skill and experience in delivering fundraising and marketing campaigns across a range of channels. You’ll be a brilliant communicator, have a track record of successfully working as part of a team, can think creatively and can use data and technology to inform your decision making and power your campaigns.
About CHAS
We support families during the toughest of times. We have ambitions to reach every family in Scotland who is living with the heart-breaking prognosis that their child is dying and offer them our care and support to empower them to make the most of the short time they have together, as well as supporting them with life after loss.
But more than this - through the More Than a Hospice Appeal, we have an urgent and bold plan to change the future of how care is delivered for every dying child in Scotland, forever.
We want every family to have real choice over their child’s care, both while they live, and at end of life. The fundraising team will play a crucial part in making this possible, and as Fundraising Campaigns Coordinator, you will truly be working towards the funds that make this vision a reality in the future.
