Job description

About the role

As Trusts Fundraising Lead, you’ll be Life Cycle’s lead specialist for Trusts and Foundations fundraising. Reporting to the Fundraising & Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead on developing and managing a strong funding pipeline, identifying opportunities and securing grant income that supports Life Cycle’s charitable objectives and future plans.

Working with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll turn project ideas, organisational priorities and evidence of impact into clear, compelling funding cases. You’ll coordinate applications and proposals from initial research through to submission, making sure they are well evidenced, accurately costed and aligned with funder requirements.

You’ll also manage relationships with existing funders, overseeing reporting, stewardship and renewals to help build strong, lasting partnerships and maximise repeat funding. Alongside this, you’ll manage the Trusts CRM, ensuring funding opportunities, applications and relationships are recorded and kept up to date.

Working closely with the Marketing Lead and Supporter Care Officer, you’ll help communicate Life Cycle’s impact through applications, reports, stewardship materials and wider communications.

This is a varied role combining strategic pipeline development with hands-on fundraising. You’ll have the opportunity to shape Life Cycle’s trusts fundraising, build strong funder relationships and secure funding that directly supports Life Cycle's work, transforming lives through cycling.
