The Wellbeing and Lifeskills worker will support residents experiencing mental health pressures, to access cultural sensitive services and develop resilience, coping skills and improve overall wellbeing.

Specific Duties:

• Develop person centred multi-agency support plans. Work to a recovery based aspirations led model.
• Collect baseline information about clients current mental health needs, and record and monitor progress as they engage with the service.
• Provide assertive support to ensure effective engagement to achieve personal goals and aspirations for wellness and enjoyment of life.
• Act as a point of contact for other agencies working with the individual. Plan interventions flexibly to meet individual needs.
• Provide initial advocacy and support to access appropriate services and agencies
• Plan for reduced involvement as the service user gains sustained mental wellbeing and control. Plan for service exits, building in aftercare and rapid return if necessary.
• Support individuals to engage in meaningful activity and facilitate activities such as an LGBT group and healthy eating group. Develop other activities with guidance and input from service users.
• Regularly review barriers to progress, involving other agencies as necessary.
• Provide quarterly statistical information such as demographics and outcomes, for funders and internal use.
• Keep up to date on current treatment models, care philosophy and mental health legislation.
• Deal with general correspondence and enquiries relating to service users and the service. Keep up to date service user records.

About You

You will have experience of working with people experiencing mental ill health, experience of working with and managing risk therapeutically, experience of working in a partnership environment or with other agencies, experience of facilitating groups, setting group objectives and reviewing outcomes, and experience of using data bases to record client need, interventions and progress. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the needs of young migrants and refugees or other chronically excluded groups. You will have knowledge of the range of services available to people with mental health needs or other complex needs. You excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels abd the ability to plan and organise own workload

Our Organisation

You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, so you will work 32 hours over 4 days a week. Causeway is a London living wage employer. You will receive a 6% pension contribution. This is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months to cover maternity leave.

About You:

As the Co-production Co-ordinator you will lead on promoting and developing the co-production element of the London Service. You will manage and chair the Experts by Experience Panel which is the forum through which current and past service users can influence the development of the London DA Service (Safe Horizons London Partnership).

The Safe Horizons London Partnership supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse to cope and recover from the impact crime has had on them, as well as supporting their journey through the criminal justice process. The service delivery model has been shaped by the views of service users and you will have an important role in growing their input and influence. You will recruit co-production champions from the staff team and support them to promote the benefits of co-production and recruit more service users into the co-production function.

Safeguarding and wellbeing are important to us and you will ensure service users are supported during their membership of the Experts by Experience Panel. As a lead in this area, you will work with the management team, sharing the feedback you have obtained and helping it feed into policies and procedures. You will also support national co-production initiatives such as the Victim Voice app. You may also support the recruitment of service users to panels hosted by our partners including the Mayor's Office of Policing and Crime and the Metropolitan Police. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as some knowledge of the impact of crime.

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Finance Officer to join our small and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail, likes helping others understand finance processes, and wants their work to genuinely make a difference. This role is only being offered in a full time, permanent capacity.

You’ll be right at the heart of the organisation, supporting our finance and grants work and helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. What you’ll be doing

Finance & grants support

• Looking after day‑to‑day bookkeeping using Xero, including accurate coding of transactions

• Reconciling bank accounts and Barclaycard statements each month

• Setting up and maintaining supplier and donor records, including bank details

• Supporting colleagues with ApprovalMax, Coretime and timesheet processing

• Reviewing staff and volunteer expenses to make sure they follow our policies

• Preparing supplier payment runs for review

• Helping set up project codes, tracking categories and staff rates

• Supporting grants administration, including budget monitoring and donor reporting

• Pulling together financial information and evidence for audits and funder reports

• Working closely with the Finance Manager on reporting, reconciliations and planning

General & team support

• Being part of the Finance & Operations team, helping colleagues with systems and IT queries

• Working with our external IT support when needed

• Contributing ideas to improve how we work across finance, HR, IT and office processes

• Getting involved in team events and wider organisational activities

• Pitching in with other admin tasks as needed — we’re a small team and support each other

About you

You’re approachable, well‑organised and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You enjoy helping others, take pride in doing things accurately, and are happy juggling a range of tasks. You will be confident, with the ability to seek out and solve problems on your own initiative, whilst working within a supportive framework.

You’ll need:

• An AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent hands‑on finance experience

• At least one year’s experience in a finance or accounting role

• Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage

• Good Excel and general IT skills

• Great attention to detail and a methodical approach

• The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

• A professional, discreet approach and respect for confidentiality

• A suitable home working environment

Who We Are

The 999 Club has stood on the corner of Deptford Broadway for more than 30 years, working with and supporting the local community. Our focus now is on people who are street homeless, rough sleeping or unhoused and those who have no recourse to public funds.

The Gateway is open five days a week and provides a welcoming, safe and friendly space where our members can spend time away from their usual situation and sort out practicalities like getting laundry done, taking a shower, charging their phone and having something to eat.

The Team

Exactly as it says on the tin, the Essential Services Team was set up to deliver essential services and we’re really excited to be restructuring the team. Whilst our Intervention Team works with members to figure out their next steps around housing etc. the Essential Services Team work to make sure that everything is in place we all get to spend time in clean, safe, friendly surroundings.

Working alongside an amazing team of volunteers the Essential Services Team provide it all, hospitality to housekeeping and everything in between.  From welcoming members at reception to helping out with laundry, to making sure the place is clean and comfortable and well maintained, that we have enough of everything, that all the admin is taken care of and and that there’s something nutritious for lunch, the Essential Services Team are at the centre of everything we do – effectively, they are the engine that keeps the 999 Club running.

As Senior Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and delivery of RFUK’s fundraising strategy to sustain and broaden the organisation’s scale and impact. Reporting to the Head of External Relations and part of the Fundraising and Communications team, you will lead a range of activities and are responsible for developing and cultivating partnerships with institutional donors, trusts and foundations, ethical corporates, and individual supporters.

You are an organised, self-starter and experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record managing a diverse fundraising pipeline from identification and cultivation through to securing gifts and successful stewardship. Dementia UK has a fantastic new opportunity to join our Challenge Events Team where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation.

As the team are expanding and taking on a new portfolio of events, you will manage three international marathons – Dublin, Athens and Valencia and two UK based events – Hackney Half Marathon and Manchester Marathon. As a Challenge Events Executive, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of these events using project management tools and techniques. You will develop and execute marketing plans that grow participant numbers, alongside managing stewardship journeys that deliver excellent supporter experience and maximise income. You will coordinate the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers. You’ll nurture relationships with key stakeholder both internally and externally to ensure the best possible event delivery. Role Purpose
The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day stewardship of the church’s financial resources ensuring compliance with UK charity law, financial regulations and best practice under the Charities SORP. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, provide accurate and timely financial reporting, support strategic decision-making and ensure robust financial controls are maintained across all church activities.

This role combines operational finance management and detailed bookkeeping, with strategic financial insight in support of the church’s mission and ministry. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role suited to someone who enjoys making systems work well, solving problems and creating order through effective processes and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting
· Oversee and process all day-to-day financial operations including income, expenditure, payroll and cash flow management.
· Assist the Head of Finance and Governance with monthly management accounts for the Standing Committee & PCC.
· Support in preparing annual budgets in collaboration with budget holders.
· Monitor performance against budgets and provide financial forecasting.
· Assist with the preparation of statutory annual accounts in accordance with the Charity SORP.
· Liaise with independent examiners or auditors during annual auditing processes.
· Supporting gift days including working the Sundays where gift day takes place (twice per year for two Sundays in a row).
· General liaison with external suppliers ensuring best value for money (e.g. Electricity, Gas, Service Contracts).

2. Compliance & Governance
· Ensure compliance with the Charity Commission regulations, HMRC requirements (including Gift Aid processing) and Parish Reporting.
· Maintain strong financial controls and internal procedures.
· Ensure restricted funds are tracked and reported appropriately.
· Maintain and review financial policies and procedures.

3. Bookkeeping Requirements
· Oversee all income and expenditure journals in Xero and stewardship systems, including processing Gift Aid claims, regular giving administration and online giving platforms.
· Manage all invoicing for hiring income & expenditure.
· Ensure accurate recording and reporting of restricted and unrestricted funds.
· Support with financial information for grants and providing grant reporting to budget holders and external grant bodies.
· Liaising with congregation about their giving and providing information where needed.
· Processing all team expenses and reconciling credit cards.
· Sending out monthly monitoring reports to budget holders.

4. Payroll & HR Finance
· Oversee payroll processing, pensions (including auto-enrolment compliance) and HMRC submissions.
· Manage Nest and Standard Life pension programmes.
· Ensure accurate salary allocation across departments and restricted funds/grants where required.
· Liaise with HR regarding employment budget planning.

5. Systems & Process Improvement
· Manage and optimise financial software systems and API’s to ensure efficiencies.
· Develop and document financial procedures to ensure business continuity and resilience.
· Support digitalisation and efficiency improvements within finance operations and improve current process to be fully digital.

6. Collaboration & Communication
· Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure effective financial collaboration.
· Support communication of new systems, finance policies and changes to the staff team.
· Contribute positively to the Operations Team culture of clarity, care and accountability.

Person Specification

Essential Skills and Experience
· At least 3-5 years’ experience managing the finance and bookkeeping function within a charity or not-for-profit environment.
· Excellent knowledge and expertise of Xero Accounting Software.
· Experience in supporting the preparation of accounts and annual statutory accounts.
· Experience with payroll and HMRC compliance.
· Excellent analytical and communication skills.
· High level of integrity and discretion.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
