You will be working across several of our Children’s Residential Services in Greater Manchester, being the designated Responsible Individual for these services you will work closely with the Registered Managers and their teams to ensure our services are evidencing best safeguarding practice and are judged Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.

About the Position…
Our Senior Residential Manager and Responsible Individual supports the Head of Service in the delivery of the Trusts residential services for cared for children. You will oversee several services that provide support to vulnerable young people, working across a range of differing needs.
- Line-manage and support children’s residential registered managers to ensure high‑quality person‑centred care across all services.
- Ensure all registered children’s homes comply with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures, with effective systems supporting staff in delivering care.
- Act as the Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes or services.
- Lead quality‑assurance processes to maintain good or outstanding practice and clearly evidence outcomes for children.
- Ensure registered managers promote and safeguard the welfare and well‑being of children in residential care.
- Work with our People and Culture team to improve staff recruitment and retention, supporting managers with staffing matters including disciplinary, capability, practice concerns, and internal investigations.
- Promote the trust’s residential services externally, develop relationships with external stakeholders, support referrals and placements, and participate in relevant conferences and events.
- Ensure delegated budgets are managed in line with financial procedures and that each residential service meets income and expenditure targets.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework.
About the you…
Do you have the following skills and experience,
- Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare of equivalent
- Significant Children’s Residential experience as a Registered Manager or suitable equivalent, experienced in promoting high quality children’s residential services.
- Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and OFSTED inspection requirements.
- Extensive experience leading high-quality residential services for young people with complex social or health needs, understanding care planning, transitions, and leaving care.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with local authority officers and commissioners.
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles, including managing change and managing of service budgets, including income and expenditure.
- An analytical approach to report writing, continuing improvement of services and measurement of care outcomes.
- A full current driving licence – mileage will be paid at 45p per mile
- Up-to-date IT skills and the ability to use electronic recording systems (Clearcare) to improve service delivery.
- A flexible approach to work, including some weekend on-call requirements.

At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.
We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi and the Galápagos Islands. We also work on strategic one health projects such as rabies elimination campaigns with Governments and NGOs all over the world. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease. Since the project began, over seven million dogs have been vaccinated against rabies and over 13 million children have been educated in rabies prevention, protecting the lives of people and animals.
Last year, WVS helped an animal every 14 seconds. We trained over 4,800 vets, deployed teams of vets all over the world, and sent over 1,700 parcels of veterinary supplies to 261 charities in 71 countries.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Support in the review of the effectiveness of our current CRM and the potential search for an alternative platform if required.
- Work with the Marketing team to design data-driven supporter journeys and targeting strategies.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance predictive analytics.
- Support colleagues across the charity in using CRM data effectively and responsibly.
- Explore and test AI tools and platforms to streamline data analysis and campaign performance tracking.
- Analyse campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights into supporter behaviour to improve long-term donor retention and lifetime value.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Two years' experience working with CRM systems (Donorfy is our current CRM but relevant experience across any CRM systems is valuable)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences
- Experience in audience segmentation and targeted campaign delivery
- Knowledge of data protection and GDPR best practices

Family Action & the Role’s Impact:
We are seeking a Peer Mentoring Coordinator to develop and manage our new LGBTQ+ Peer Mentoring Programme, training and supporting Project Indigo members to become mentors in the local community.
Project Indigo is the LGBTQ+ youth service based at Off Centre at Family Action. It is open to anyone aged 16-25 who identifies as LGBTQ+ or is exploring their sexuality or gender identity. Our weekly youth group is a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ+ young people to meet each other and participate in workshops and activities. In addition to the youth group, Project Indigo offers 1-to-1 support and advice sessions with the Project Lead. The group aims to support young people to build links with the local LGBTQ+ community, build meaningful relationships and get support around issues that are impacting them. Project Indigo maintains a youth-led and person-centred approach, with this role being developed in consultation with our members to support them in accessing training and support to do community-focused work. The Peer Mentoring Coordinator’s role will be to develop a new Peer Mentoring Programme, supporting older Project Indigo members to train as mentors and deliver mentoring sessions with younger LGBTQ+ people in the local community.
Off Centre is a service that provides a range of targeted mental health focused support services to young people aged 16 to 25 who reside/are registered with a City and Hackney GP. These include: individual, counselling and psychotherapy, individual and group art psychotherapy, key-work support, out of hours drop-in service on Thursday evenings; targeted provision for children and young people of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage (ACH); and an Information and Advice provision.
The role
As the Peer Mentoring Coordinator, you will develop and lead Project Indigo’s Peer Mentoring Programme. Central to the role will be understanding young mentors’ needs and goals, and providing high quality supervisory support throughout the training and mentoring process. You will further develop the Mentoring programme, consulting with relevant organisations, liaising with partners, and keeping accurate records to monitor progress for administrative and evaluative purposes.
Your impact
This role will enrich Project Indigo’s holistic offer by providing young people with the opportunity to access training, qualifications and work experience while receiving high quality support tailored to their needs. You will offer sensitive supervisory support to young LGBTQ+ mentors, supporting their diverse need by maintaining an empathetic, intersectional and youth-led approach.
Your skills
You will be a confident communicator with proven experience of working in a supportive role with LGBTQ+ young people and/or evidence of in-depth knowledge of issues relating to LGBTQ+ young people, in particular trans and gender diverse young people.
You will be empathetic and maintain an understanding of the social issues impacting young LGBTQ+ people. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage your time and workload effectively. You will have an understanding of risk management, health and safety issues and the ability in accordance with local and organisational safeguarding policies.

As Individual Giving Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering a programme of stewardship, marketing and acquisition that has driven significant growth in recent years.
As we continue to utilise and test new channels and audiences, you’ll be using creativity and innovation to develop campaigns and communications to inspire people with this way of giving. By collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation and our trusted partners, you’ll be bold in delivering an impactful stewardship programme that nurtures our supporters’ consideration. About you
We’re looking for an organised project-manager and ideally someone with experience of delivering communications to a mass audience and/or digital acquisition. You’ll be an excellent communicator, online and in print, and be comfortable having tactful conversations with our supporters.
As this role is temporary maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and get involved with multiple projects straight away. To be successful in this role you will:
- be an effective project-manager, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieve objectives
- enjoy thinking creatively and using storytelling to bring complex issues to life
- be confident in your communication skills, whether writing persuasively for a specific audience or talking 1:1 with a supporter of Crisis

The Evaluation & Research Officer plays a key role in supporting this by designing and delivering high-quality evaluation and research activity that helps teams learn, improve and demonstrate impact across our programmes.
The Role
We are looking for an Evaluation & Research Officer to join our Data and Impact team at STEM Learning. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our programmes and projects are evaluated effectively, realistically, and in line with best practice, enabling us to demonstrate impact and continuously improve our offer.
Working closely with programme management colleagues, you will design and implement evaluations, ensuring relevant data is collected, analysed and interpreted. You will produce clear, high-quality outputs for both internal and external audiences, supporting learning, accountability, and impact reporting.
You will also contribute to external evaluations, liaising with external evaluators where required, and help embed evidence-informed practice across the organisation. A key part of the role is sourcing, reviewing and synthesising external research and sector evidence to strengthen STEM Learning’s evaluation approaches, findings and impact claims.

The Digital and SEO Manager will report to Opportunity Green’s Communications Director. The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of £50,000 plus 10% employer-contributed pension. What happens next?
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview to discuss their experience and suitability for the role. After this, candidates that are most suitable for the vacancy will be invited for an in-person interview in our London office, for which there may also be a short task. Travel will be reimbursed for non-London-based applicants (within the UK).
Online interviews are likely to take place w/c 2nd March. In person interviews will likely be shortly after this (w/c 9th March).
