Yet traditional philanthropy largely overlooks them. We’re unlocking this funding by offering trusted, pro bono advice and a simple, portfolio approach to giving. What we are looking for:

Job title: Impact and Communications Officer

We're looking for a curious and capable Impact and Communications Officer to help us find, assess, report on and support some of the world’s highest impact climate and nature charities. 

Internally, you will play a critical role in supporting the research on charities within our portfolio that our Due Diligence Committee oversees – helping develop our methodology and feeding into charity selection and assessment projects. You’ll help write impact reports and coordinate webinars for our network about our charities. You’ll also manage, update and clean leads in our CRM (Beacon), and support month-end financial processing. 

Externally, you will produce much of the Global Returns Project’s communications content, telling compelling stories about cutting-edge environmental projects. You’ll assist with scheduling and sending our newsletters, keeping our website up-to-date, and editing video content. As we generate support for our portfolio via public campaigns and match-funding initiatives, you’ll help coordinate these efforts in line with the strategy set by the wider team. 

You will thrive in a small, fast-moving team – taking initiative, being collaborative, and contributing to shared goals. Crucially, you'll care deeply about climate and nature. 

Professional experience preferred: Some professional experience in marketing and communications (as a guide, likely 1-3 years).

The Gloucestershire Infrastructure Collaborative is seeking an experienced freelance Convenor to support an exciting partnership of nine Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations working together to strengthen the sector's role within Gloucestershire's health and wellbeing system.

This is a unique opportunity for an independent facilitator, connector and systems thinker who enjoys working in complexity across organisational boundaries, to build trusted relationships, strengthen collective leadership and help partnerships turn ambition into meaningful action.  The Convenor will build trust, psychological safety and shared purpose, helping the group develop collective leadership, navigate complexity, challenge and learning together.

Your schools will have a designated contact who will offer insights and guidance to help your maths circles thrive. You will be provided with training, introductory videos, and curriculum materials for every session, so you can focus on what matters: sparking curiosity and building the next generation of mathematicians.

There are no mandatory set hours, but the role is best suited to candidates available between 3:00pm-5pm on at least 3 weekdays. You can indicate any regular unavailability in your application.

This role is predominantly home-based with regular travel to locations across the UK. Office facilities are available at our Newark office (Tuesdays to Thursdays) for those within easy travelling distance.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Media Manager with an excellent track record of securing national media coverage, building trusted relationships with journalists, and delivering impactful communications strategies. You will be confident managing reactive media activity in a fast-paced environment while also developing and delivering creative, evidence-led campaigns that engage diverse audiences and inspire action for nature.

This is a senior role with responsibility for leading and developing a small but talented national media team. You will bring experience of managing and supporting others, creating an inclusive and positive team culture where people feel valued, empowered and able to do their best work. Through coaching, guidance and constructive feedback, you will help colleagues develop their skills, grow in confidence, and achieve shared goals.

You will play a key role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality, high impact media activity. This will include overseeing the development and proofing of media materials, supporting story and campaign planning, creation and research, and contributing to the effective operation of a busy press office, including out of hours.

Working closely with the Head of Media Relations, you will build an environment where colleagues are encouraged to share ideas, test new approaches, and explore innovative ways to reach and engage audiences. As a Maths Excellence Tutor, you will lead weekly extracurricular maths circles sessions with small groups of carefully selected high-attaining pupils at local schools. These aren't ordinary lessons. Axiom Maths is a taught enrichment programme that takes pupils beyond the school curriculum. Pupils tackle challenging and rewarding problems together, lose themselves in mathematical thinking, and leave each session a little more confident in who they are as mathematicians.

The Media Manager will have the opportunity to shape strategic media and PR activity across the organisation; engaging in the national conversation on wetlands, particularly in the context of the climate and nature crises. At a regional and local level, this role will support local Marketing teams to tell the stories of our 10 incredible wetland sites to their engaged membership and visitor base. We are seeking an individual:

Role Summary

Account Management & Stewardship

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and selected trusts and foundations, delivering excellent relationship management, stewardship and reporting.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality partnership reports, impact updates and funding reports that demonstrate the value of support and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Act as the Funding Relationship Lead for their portfolio, ensuring reporting commitments, stewardship activity and internal coordination are managed throughout the life of each partnership or grant.
• Identify opportunities to renew, grow and enhance existing partnerships, maximising income and engagement.
• Maintain accurate partnership activity, reporting deadlines and pipeline information within Salesforce, monitor partnership performance, manage the fundraising pipeline, and contribute to income forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• In addition to partnership management responsibilities, manage community fundraising activities and events when required, contributing to the wider fundraising programme.

Business Development & Income Generation

• Develop and secure new corporate partnerships by identifying, cultivating and converting prospective supporters into long-term partners.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, partnership pitches and applications tailored to corporate and trust funding opportunities.
• Develop attractive ESG partnership opportunities and other funding propositions that align with Ocean Generation's mission and strategic priorities.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

• Experience in corporate fundraising, partnerships, business development/sales or account management.
• Proven ability to secure, manage and grow fundraising partnerships to achieve income targets.
• Excellent relationship management, communication and proposal writing skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with experience using a CRM and managing multiple priorities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to work independently within a small team.
• Confident interpreting budgets and fundraising performance data.

Desirable

• Some experience working with trusts and foundations and/or major donors.
• Knowledge of ESG, CSR or corporate fundraising partnerships.
• Experience using a fundraising CRM such as Salesforce, Beacon or Raiser's Edge.

The Learning team at The Trust is looking for a Digital Learning Manager to join our established team. Responsible for engaging with stakeholders to identify learning needs, and then creating high-quality, engaging digital learning content to upskill and empower our staff, volunteers and delivery partners to better support young people.

This fully funded role runs until 30th September 2027 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a major employability programme supporting young people across the UK.

You will lead a small team, ensuring that we effectively engage with our stakeholders, understand their needs, and work with them to create digital learning content that delivers against learning outcomes, working right across the training cycle. You’ll also be responsible for managing a Learning Management System, ensuring that learning content is accessible to the right groups of learners. The role sits within a small but dedicated team, who are committed to delivering work of the highest quality. This means that you’ll also need to be hands-on with the creative process, from storyboarding and scripting through to camera set-up, filming, graphic design, and editing. You’ll also lead in the evaluation and continuous improvement of our digital learning products, tracking data and lead times to ensure the best experience for both stakeholders and end users. As this is a fixed-term role, we’ll be looking for someone with direct experience in the same or a similar role in order to smoothly transition into this fast-paced and dynamic team.
