We are looking for a Children's Spiritual Formation Lead. In this role, you will develop and create a spiritual formation pathway for children, that fosters spiritual growth through contemplative Christian practices, with a specific focus on pioneering and developing retreat day experiences for schools as part of the pathway. This is a national role that will enable churches to support their ministry to children in schools through contemplative Christian practices. You will also, where needed, play a hands-on role in supporting churches and schools in our work.

In this role, you will:

• Write and develop a contemplative spiritual formation pathway to strengthen

  lifelong spiritual growth for school children from Early Years to Secondary.

• Develop and project manage a national strategy for the pathway that can be

  contextualised, to encourage and equip churches to provide spaces where

  school children grow spiritually through contemplative Christian practices.

• Where helpful pilot the pathway within Oxfordshire.

• Develop, hone, pilot, and test a scalable, one-day contemplative retreat model

  for schools using Space Makers and prayer-space resources.

• Embed our one day contemplative retreats for schools as an integral component into the creation of the contemplative spiritual formation pathway.

• Expand delivery of retreats nationally with support from the CEO, by designing

  and delivering training for churches, leaders, lay volunteers, & students.

• Embed a network of volunteer adult & student Contemplative Practice Champions to sustain & refine delivery of retreats and the contemplative spiritual formation pathway.

• Where needed, support on-the-ground delivery of retreats and prayer and reflection spaces in schools.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience supporting children’s spiritual growth within a Christian-faith context.

• Proven ability to turn ambitious regional or national visions into reality.

• Skilled at building, organising, and energising dynamic volunteer teams.

• Deep passion for nurturing children’s long-term spiritual development,

  especially through the contemplative Christian tradition.

• Ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle a broad range of responsibilities with

  enthusiasm and practical expertise.

Role Details

• Position: Children's Spiritual Formation Lead

• Location: Remote. Travel required for in person team days 3 - 6 times a year.

  Some travel across Oxfordshire and nationally.

• Hours of work: Part time, 4 days (FT considered for the right candidate)

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (pro rata if 4 days) depending on experience.

About the role

Local Groups are the foundation of Fawcett’s movement. Our Local Groups campaign on local issues affecting women in their locality, and create national campaigns and policy drives based on the lived experience of their local group.

We want to do more to bring these groups together, to strengthen our support of these groups, to pull together the voices and campaigns into national policy priorities, and ensure that every member of a local group feels connected to the national movement.

This is where this new role comes in.

The Community Builder will help people set up new groups, and ensure our groups are well supported, informed, and connected, while also exploring new ways for people to organise together, including thematic and digital communities.

Alongside relationship-building, the role carries responsibility for ensuring community activity is underpinned by clear processes, agreements, and risk management, so that grassroots organising is safe and sustainable.

This is a manager-level role, working with autonomy and initiative, with scope to grow into line management in future.

• Support and strengthen Fawcett’s local groups, building trusted relationships with activists and group leaders.
• Create clear, accessible pathways for people to set up new groups, join existing ones, or engage in other forms of feminist activism.

About FFLAG

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity and is the UK’s longest established parent support charity in the LGBT+ sector. Our history began in the grassroots parent helplines of the 1960s, grew through the 1980’s and 90’s as we supported anxious parents and fought against the discrimination of Section 28, becoming a formally registered charity in 2000.

Our work sounds simple, but it is life changing. We help parents and families understand, accept and support their LGBT+ family members with love and pride.

We offer a range of support options spanning 121 online and helpline support services, to a UK-wide monthly group Zoom meeting and face to face local groups. We also have an extensive collection of online resources and guides.  We attend as many Pride events as we can and our work supports thousands of families every year. This support is provided by an active base of FFLAG volunteers who are parents of LGBT+ children themselves, supported by other volunteers and allies. 

In addition to our support work, FFLAG advocates for the full human and civil rights of LGBT+ individuals. FFLAG speaks out and acts to defend and enhance those human and civil rights. 

What this job is all about

Simply put, as Operations Manager you will ensure the charity's activities are effective, sustainable, and aligned with our mission to support families with LGBT+ members

Reporting directly to the Chair, working closely with the Board of Trustees and supported by a part-time Volunteer Engagement & Events Coordinator you will:

• Lead and supervise the daily operational functions, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of services.
• Lead fundraising activities, including grant applications, donor stewardship, and partnership development.
• Manage and support staff and volunteers, nurturing a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
• Support the Trustees to ensure compliance with all relevant UK charity legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., Charity Commission, safeguarding, risk management, data protection).
• Collaborate with the Chair and Board of Trustees to develop and implement strategic plans, with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.

• Operational Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a senior operations role, ideally within the charity or voluntary sector.
• Fundraising: Experience supporting or leading fundraising campaigns and developing income streams.

We have established strong foundations, including secured funding from the Big Lottery Community Fund over three years, a full Board of Trustees, and a growing programme of 8 events each week, including Walk & Talks and Sports Hubs. We are seeking an inspiring leader to drive our ambitious strategy to engage 7,000 men and provide 330 Personal Wellbeing Plans over the next three years.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.

· Develop, manage, and oversee the charity's resources and workstreams.

· Support the Board with fundraising strategy and financial accountability, including financial forecasting and reporting to funders.

2. Programme Management & Delivery

· Drive the delivery and expansion of our core programmes, including the Physical Activities (Walk & Talks, Sports Hubs), Volunteer Engagement, Community Partnerships and the Personal Wellbeing Plans (PWP)18.

· Develop and implement the Marauders Pathway Programme to establish a culture of good citizenship and peer support.

3. People & Volunteer Management

· Provide leadership, support, and development for staff, managing issues such as payroll, sickness, and holidays.

· Oversee the Volunteer Co-ordinator to develop a comprehensive volunteer management process, including recruitment, training, and 'Reward & Recognition’.

· Help inspire 100 men to give back to the community through volunteering.

4. Partnerships & IT Development

· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.

· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.

· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

Our Second Home is the UK’s youth movement of young people with refugee backgrounds. Since 2018, we have supported over 750 young people from 53 countries to build community, develop leadership skills, and flourish into adulthood in the place they now call home.

Our work begins with transformational residential experiences, where young people form friendships, grow in confidence, and experience belonging – often for the first time since arriving in the UK. From there, many go on to take part in our Leadership Training Programme and local Youth Hubs in London and Bristol, before returning as peer leaders themselves. This cycle of engagement, growth and leadership is at the heart of our theory of change.

We are recruiting a Fundraising Manager to act as the organisation’s operational lead for income generation. This is a part-time role (18–24 hours per week) with significant flexibility, ideal for someone who is organised, thoughtful, and motivated by building something meaningful.

The Fundraising Manager will manage and coordinate income across five strands: trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate foundations, individual and digital giving, and statutory funding. While the role has a strong trusts and foundations focus, it offers real scope to build skills and experience across a broad fundraising portfolio.

Working closely with the CEO, a highly experienced freelance Bid Writer, and the wider team, you will be responsible for developing funding pipelines, producing high-quality proposals and applications, stewarding funder relationships, and translating programme impact into compelling narratives. You will also play a key role in donor communications, reporting, CRM management, and supporting campaigns and events.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing writing, relationship-building, planning and delivery – and who values doing fundraising with integrity and care.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in fundraising (particularly trusts and foundations) or strong transferable skills such as persuasive writing, project management, or stakeholder engagement. You will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines, maintaining an organised pipeline, and working independently while staying closely connected to a small team.

You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build warm, professional relationships with funders and supporters. Experience using a CRM system is important, as is an understanding of – or willingness to learn about – the UK voluntary sector funding landscape.

We are looking for a Community Fundraising Manager who will focus on leadership and net income growth of the Community Fundraising (CFR) team, who are based across the UK. The post holder will lead and manage the three regional engagement Officers, taking responsibility in actively supporting them to achieve in their posts. 

To succeed in the role, you will need entrepreneurial thinking as well as being able to collaborate with colleagues across the UK to ensure consistent support for staff and volunteers, ensuring our community fundraising activities are delivered well, in a timely manner whilst always being mindful of the return on investment.  The Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the delivery and growth of this area of fundraising and will be expected to meeting annual income targets and ensuring effective budget management.

Experience in community fundraising is essential, including planning and delivering a portfolio of activities, nurturing supporter relationships, and ensuring volunteers receive consistent, high-quality support. The role also requires proven ability in budget management, forecasting, and meeting annual income targets.

Success in this role calls for an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, capable of identifying new opportunities for income generation while ensuring strong return on investment. Support Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Hounslow team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11335 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Hounslow. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

The Role

Reporting to Service Delivery Coach, key responsibilities will include:

• Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.

The Sortition Foundation, alongside democracy movement allies, is campaigning for a permanent citizens' assembly (CA) in Greater Manchester. Greater Manchester's governance is flawed, with a mayoral authority backed by a small, indirectly elected Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), leaving residents with just one vote every four years. A permanent CA would address this deficit by giving people a voice and holding leaders accountable. A CA would not only benefit greater Manchester but strengthen the Mayor’s decision-making and boost the region’s influence. As metro mayors expand nationwide, this campaign sets a powerful precedent, positioning Greater Manchester as a leader in democratic reform.

About the role

This role supports the delivery of a campaign for a permanent citizens’ assembly in Greater Manchester. Working closely with the Head of Organising and the wider organising and campaigns team, the Organiser will help engage existing supporters, reach new people, and support the practical delivery of organising activities and administration (keeping records and contact lists, etc).

The role is focused on implementation and support, rather than campaign strategy, senior political representation (i.e. this is not a lobbying campaign), or organisational decision-making. The postholder will contribute to base-building and supporter engagement while developing their organising skills within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of organising activity in Greater Manchester, including door-knocking, stalls, meetings, and events.

• Help deliver new supporter briefings, both online and offline, using materials and formats developed by the organising and campaigns team.

• Carry out one-to-one conversations with supporters to build relationships, understand motivations, and encourage involvement.

• Support the organisation and facilitation of local campaign meetings and activities.

• Assist with maintaining contact with supporters and community groups, with responsibility for relationship ownership remaining with senior campaign staff.

Corporate Partnerships Manager

City Year UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager to drive new business and nurture existing corporate relationships.

Join a youth and education charity which empowers diverse 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time volunteering in schools. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, our volunteers support children who are furthest away from opportunity in the UK.

Position: Corporate Partnerships Manager (internally known as Development Manager)

Location: Remote (with travel to London)

Hours: Part-time, 4 days per week (28 hours per week)

Salary: £40,000 pro rata (£32,000 for 80% part-time role)

Duration: Permanent

The Role

This role is central to building a strong, sustainable income pipeline and increasing support for our programmes.

You will:

· Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships to grow income and impact.

· Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate accounts, strengthening relationships and maximising financial and in-kind support.

· Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a strategic fundraising approach that increases income, improves renewal rates, and generates a robust pipeline of new partners.

· Represent City Year UK at external events, meetings, and conferences to promote our mission and build partnerships.

· Contribute to research, proposal development, and cross-team projects to support organisational objectives.

Main areas of responsibility include new business development, account management and external engagement and profile raising.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in corporate account management and business development.

You will also have experience of:

· Securing new corporate partnerships and managing existing accounts.

· Working with senior stakeholders, including trustees, CEOs, or senior executives.

· Preparing and delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and reports.

· Managing a portfolio of corporate partners to maximise financial and in-kind support.

· Using CRM or fundraising databases like Salesforce to manage pipelines, record interactions, and report on partnership progress.
