About MAP

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

We are now responding to the largest emergency in our history. Over the last two years, tens of thousands of new supporters have joined MAP. We work to raise Palestinian voices and work to secure their rights to health and dignity.

About the role

This role sits at the heart of MAP’s Fundraising & Marketing team, turning supporter data into actionable insights. Supported by the Performance & Insights Manager, you will lead the delivery of audience selections and marketing lists, ensuring campaigns reach the right supporters at the right time while maintaining the highest standards of data quality, governance, and GDPR compliance. Working with a range of stakeholders across the team, you will take ownership of data segmentation processes to provide a reliable foundation for MAP’s fundraising and marketing activity.

Alongside delivering selections, you will play a key role in developing our insight and reporting capability. You will analyse supporter and fundraising data to identify new supporter opportunities and provide recommendations that inform decision-making across the organisation. You will be a key player in supporting the team to adopt a data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, delivering training, and making complex information accessible to non-technical audiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively.

As you will have seen from the role profile, this post requires a minimum of two days per week in our London office. This is key as it allows us to work collaboratively and have productive contact with the teams we support.

MAP has a flexible working policy to support employees with additional needs, caring responsibilities etc. However, it will not be possible for this role to be completely remote.

Insights and Analysis

You will lead responses to a wide range of internal data analysis and reporting requests from the Fundraising and Marketing team. You will deputise for the Performance and Insights Manager when required, delivering analytical projects for senior stakeholders and external audiences.

The role will identify opportunities for proactive analysis and contribute to the ongoing development of an in-house suite of audience insight reports. You will also work alongside the Performance and Insights Manager to lead and coordinate the work of external research and analysis agencies.

Collaboration

Working closely with colleagues across the Supporter Database team and other CRM stakeholders, including the CRM Technical Lead, you will help establish and maintain effective data governance practices.

At times of limited capacity, you will support the wider data function with ad hoc database requirements, including data imports. You will also help develop a data-driven culture across the Fundraising and Marketing team by delivering training and supporting fundraisers to use and interpret data effectively.

Governance and Development

You will create and maintain clear documentation for data selection, segmentation and analysis processes. You will help develop and facilitate the internal analysis request process, including supporting the management of the internal ticketing platform.

You will continue to develop your analytical expertise and work with the Performance and Insights Manager to monitor emerging technologies and identify tools that could benefit the team and wider organisation.

About You

Essential

You will have experience of delivering data selections or creating marketing lists from supporter or customer datasets, together with significant experience of data visualisation, preferably using Power BI. You will be confident in transforming supporter or customer data into clear, actionable insights and will have experience working with CRM databases, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.

You will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. You will be an effective problem-solver who is flexible, adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, including the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly to different audiences. You will also have a strong understanding of UK GDPR and how data protection principles apply when handling supporter or customer data.

Desirable

Ideally, you will have experience of shaping or creating an organisation’s data selection process and managing external suppliers effectively. Previous experience within a charity CRM team would be beneficial, as would an understanding of fundraising communications and marketing methods, including direct mail and supporter journeys.

Experience of working with SQL, along with an understanding of fundraising regulation and relevant financial controls, would also be advantageous.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Interviews will take place on Microsoft Teams on 20/11/2026.

 How to Apply

Please submit your CV on our careers page before the deadline of 12:00 noon GMT on Wednesday 13/11/2026.

Equal opportunities

MAP aims to be an equal opportunities employer and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status, or race, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements which cannot be shown to be justifiable.

Background checks
