About the Role
Join us as a National Programmes Administrator and help drive the smooth delivery of our Education, Training & Employment, Money Management and Client Involvement programmes. The role in Approved Premises (AP) involves supporting high-risk individuals transitioning from prison back into the community. Staff work closely with residents, providing guidance, promoting positive behaviour, and helping them build independence while maintaining a structured environment. Responsibilities include preparing meals, supporting rehabilitation plans in collaboration with probation and external agencies, and ensuring residents follow rules such as curfews and drug/alcohol testing. A key aspect of the role is empowering residents to take responsibility for their own lives, without doing things for them, while providing support and supervision as needed. North Hampshire is an amazing place to live and work, and you will be part of a friendly team working from our farm, College Copse. North Hampshire has some of the best heathlands in the south of England which are home to some incredible wildlife species including adders, Dartford warblers, purple emperor butterflies and woodcocks.
This post offers a great opportunity to play a major role in managing Hook Common and Bartley Heath, a 123-hectare open heathland and woodland nature reserve, which supports a range of amazing wildlife, including basking reptiles, purple hairstreak butterflies, great crested newts and plants such as marsh gentians. The postholder would also be responsible for a few of our other smaller heathland sites in North Hampshire too.
What you’ll be doing
The variety of work that you carry out will involve managing scrub, tree management, building and maintaining fences to ensure they are stock proof, managing livestock and working with our local dedicated volunteer teams. You will also be responsible for estate and machinery maintenance, health and safety, infrastructure and access checks on the reserves you’ll be managing.
Each season will bring a new set of tasks and challenges, and you will be working on some of the best heathlands here in the south of England. The postholder will also have the opportunity to attend various training and development opportunities, work across our other nature reserves in Hampshire to develop their knowledge and expertise and support our conservation grazing programme based at College Copse Farm.
About you
You’ll be a proactive problem solver with a passion for conservation land management. You’ll enjoy hands-on work and be confident using machinery, with a genuine passion for protecting and restoring heathlands. You will bring energy, commitment, and a solid understanding of practical conservation management.

The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with The Urology Foundation to recruit to a brand new Director of Philanthropy role, leading on an exciting new campaign and driving growth of income from HWNI supporters.
Director of Philanthropy
Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience
Location: London (hybrid working)
Over the past few years, The Urology Foundation has experienced an exciting period of growth, enabling them to strategically broaden their research portfolio and focus on driving greater impact.
In 2024, they launched a bold new research strategy, co-created with a brilliant and diverse group of researchers. To fuel this vision, the charity are launching a £5m major appeal (with a significant proportion of this already committed) and as such, require a Director of Philanthropy to strategically lead and engage a newly established Development Board to maximise network opportunities and secure significant gifts from HNWI supporters.
As Director of Philanthropy you will lead, shape and accelerate this appeal with a long-term vision of building a sustainable major giving function for the organisation. The Urology Foundation is a small organisation with big ambitions and a powerful team behind it to enable the success of the appeal - they're looking for a skilled philanthropy fundraiser who is energised by uncovering networks, strategising for the long term and eager to build committed relationships.
You may already be a Director of Philanthropy, or a Deputy looking for your first senior step. Either way, you'll be relationship led and driven to spot opportunities, building trust with senior clinicians, board members and high value supporters. A background in health/medical research is certainly desirable but isn't essential - what matters more is that you understand how to navigate networks, work with major donor prospects and turn conversations into commitments.
