We’re looking for an experienced, data-driven digital marketer who is a creative thinker and keen to innovate and continually grow and develop our digital channels. As a small team, we need someone who thinks strategically and thrives with a hands-on, operational role.
Pancreatic Cancer Action is a national charity, dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. This post has a pivotal role to play in delivering our mission by increasing brand visibility, raising awareness amongst all our audiences and supporting the generation of income across the UK.
This exciting role will lead all our digital marketing channels and activities, with responsibility for delivering high-quality, creative and engaging content to our digital audiences. You will continually analyse and review channel and campaign performance, optimising content and developing activity as necessary.
Our new Digital Marketing Lead needs to be proficient in website management and development, managing social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, with a big emphasis on delivering results through paid media, SEO, SEM, and PPC.

Main responsibilities
- Lead all our digital marketing channels and activities with responsibility for delivering high-quality, creative and engaging content to our digital audiences.
- Communicate Pancreatic Cancer Action’s strategic objectives - and all the activities that underpin them - to UK audiences. These include:
- Raising public awareness and knowledge of pancreatic cancer and its symptoms.
- Education, awareness and training for the medical and healthcare communities.
- Funding research specifically into early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
- Providing high-quality health information and publications.
- Manage, develop and update the Pancreatic Cancer Action website. You will also oversee the ongoing technical management of our website (alongside our external agency).
- You will deliver results through paid media advertising, SEO, SEO, SEM, and PPC.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of a digital and social media strategy.
- You will support Pancreatic Cancer Action’s mission by increasing brand visibility, raising awareness amongst all of our audiences and supporting the generation of income across the UK.
- You will continually analyse and review channel and campaign performance, optimising content and developing activity as necessary.
- You will lead our social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, website management and development.
- Be responsible for designing and creating engaging and relevant content for all our channels.
- Monitor the financial spend of agreed areas of responsibility, working within agreed budgets.
Website management
- Manage, develop and update the Pancreatic Cancer Action website.
- Working alongside our external agency, you will oversee the ongoing technical management of our website. Having Django CMS experience would be an advantage.
- You will ensure compliance with best practice and focus on continually improving users’ experience.
- Ensure Pancreatic Cancer Action benefits from integrating our CRM and other software into the website.
- Ensure that content is regularly reviewed and updated, and new content is added to the site regularly (blogs, news etc.).
SEO
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimisation and technical SEO audits.
- Monitor, analyse and report on SEO performance.
Paid Media
- This is a vital and rapidly growing area for the charity, and this role will manage all paid-for digital marketing, including lead generation and acquisition (Meta, Google, etc.).
- Create advertising campaigns and ensure effective tracking, monitoring, improvements, evaluation, and reporting of campaigns.
- Oversee our Google Ads grant (PPC) and (CRO) Google Tag Manager.
- Manage our main Google Ads account and launch Search, Display, and YouTube advertising for our digital-first Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month campaign.
- Deliver detailed advertising reporting using Looker Studio or other similar digital dashboards.
Digital content
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, including planning and scheduling content that aligns to both Pancreatic Cancer Action and project objectives.
- Create and manage the sourcing of high-quality content for blogs, website pages, social media posts, email content and for all other digital channels.
- Write, edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment to Pancreatic Cancer Action’s Text and Brand Guidelines.
- Create engaging design assets for use across all digital channels, including video and animation.
- Responsibility for pixels and unique identifiers for analytics.
Social media
- Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- To be responsible for all Pancreatic Cancer Action social media channels, including design and content development, scheduling, optimising, and reporting.
- Work with our Marketing and Communications Executive to manage social media channels on a day-to day-basis, engaging with Pancreatic Cancer Action audiences by responding to comments and queries and being proactive to find out more and nurture relationships.
- Plan social media campaigns in line with other marketing and communications or charity-wide activities.
- Use social media analytics to generate regular reports, using results to inform future day-to-day work and campaigns.
- Spot social media trends and industry best practice, advising on best social media content, tactics, and new technologies.
- Form relationships with key social media influencers to help grow our reach.
Email marketing
- Create and distribute monthly e-newsletters to Pancreatic Cancer Action segmented subscribers.
- Create and distribute email campaigns to segmented audiences.
- Develop email schedules for awareness and acquisition campaigns.
- Create and manage automated email sequences.
- Segment email lists and ensure personalised messaging for targeted audiences.
- Support ongoing CRM project work to ensure we maximise the data held and its ability to drive campaign and activity success.
Working as part of a team
- Be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, including a Marketing and Communications Executive, a PR and Communications Lead and the Head of Marketing and Communications.
- Support the Marketing and Communications team and help cover their areas when needed.
- Provide Digital Marketing expertise to the whole PCA team.
Other duties
- Be a brand ambassador, providing advice on the consistent use of Pancreatic Cancer Action’s brand.
- Travel across the UK to attend meetings, events and activities when needed.
- Deputise for the Head of Marketing and Communications when needed.
- Any other duty that the Head of Marketing and Communication considers appropriate.

About The Role
Events are a key component in our visitors’ experience at a WWT site and we have big ambitions to develop and deliver an even stronger calendar of innovative events in 2026 and beyond.
Working with the Head of Interpretation and Programming and the Centre Managers, you will lead on the development of new seasonal events, from ideation and concept stage to multi-site implementation, with the objective of driving new and repeat visitation. Working as part of a small, multi-disciplinary team and managed by the Head of Communications (Cymru), this role focuses on building public understanding, mobilising support and strengthening pressure for change in Wales. You’ll work closely with policy and public affairs colleagues to ensure communications activity supports influence on Welsh Government priorities and decision-making.

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity that supports members who work in, or are interested in, tropical medicine and global health.
In September 2028 it is hosting the International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria (ICTMM) on behalf of the International Federation for Tropical Medicine (IFTM), in Liverpool, UK.
ICTMM 2028 expects to receive over 1,500 attendees, hopefully with over 40% coming from outside of Europe. It is an educational meeting with a high proportion of the content driven by abstracts. The event is being delivered by RSTMH with the support of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO).
The ICTMM Events Manager has responsibility for coordinating the development and delivery of ICTMM 2028 at RSTMH, working with the RSTMH team, the PCO, the event venue ACC Liverpool, IFTM, and other suppliers. The individual would be based at RSTMH where the role would start on a part-time basis and move to be full-time 17 months before the event.
The role requires an able self-starter who understands the logistics and considerations of running a scientific, abstract-driven event of 1,500+ attendees, of working with a PCO and of educational events attended by a high number of international guests. There will be some travel to Liverpool and the role would require some overnight stays there before and during the event.
The candidate needs to have excellent event and project management skills, communication and relationship building skills, and be organised and flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be as comfortable developing an events strategy as answering queries about tickets sales and negotiating sponsorship. Alongside delivering the ICTMM meeting there are opportunities for partners to deliver events at the same venue, which are also the responsibility of the events manager.
The role will start as three days per week and then move to be full time as we approach the event. The current expected timings are:
- 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 – 21 hours/3 days per week
- 1 April 2027 to 30 September 2028 – 35 hours/ 5 days per week
Up to 1 April 2027 the role will be office-based in our London (Bloomsbury) offices, although there is flexibility to set your own days between Tuesday to Fridays (working hours must include our core times of 10am – 4pm).
The role may also require work in the evenings or weekends and potential time staying in Liverpool.
Main responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for all aspects of ICTMM 2028, working with the PCO, and be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines leading up to the event
- Coordinate stakeholders working on ICTMM 2028, ensuring all are up to date with progress and relations run smoothly – including RSTMH, PCO, conference venue, IFTM, ICTMM Strategic, Sponsorship and Scientific Committees and other third parties
- Work with RSTMH CEO to recruit Scientific Committee Chairs and members, develop a long list of partners and sponsors for funding and support, and develop legal agreements for these
- Develop and disseminate accurate and timely content about ICTMM through a dedicated website, a dedicated newsletter and other marketing materials, which is high quality and accessible
- Work with the RSTMH CEO and PCO to deliver sponsorship and other financial support for the event
- Help coordinate meetings of the ICTMM Committees where needed
- Assist the PCO with activities to maximise attendance to the event
- Help organise travel and accommodation, plus assist with visas for speakers and sponsored attendees
- Oversight and responsibility for the budget and re-forecasting of income and expenditure for the event
- Work with the PCO on the logistics of the event management e.g., exhibition space and registration
- Assist RSTMH and the Scientific Committee to secure plenary speakers, assisting with logistics
- Establish and manage a system to monitor and evaluate progress towards ICTMM 2028
- Manage all ICTMM event enquiries that come through to RSTMH and forward to the relevant team
- Develop systems and processes to ensure we capture all data from ICTMM into our CRM

Events management

This role sits at the heart of Operation Smile UK’s five-year strategy to deliver transformational growth across all income streams. As Retention Fundraising Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering on three of the four core strategic priorities:
1. Build Regular Giving – retain and maximise value from the regular giving base

The Retention Lead is responsible for delivering Operation Smile UK’s strategic individual giving retention and legacy marketing programme. This role is key to driving income growth from our existing donors from the point of recruitment, maximising value and minimising attrition from the regular giving pool and generating and retaining legacy actions and prospects.
You will lead on the strategy, planning, delivery and evaluation of retention campaigns, with full accountability for managing significant budgets, agency partnerships and performance metrics.
You will support the development of the Legacy strategy, be instrumental in planning legacy activity and delivering legacy marketing for the existing supporter base across all income streams and methods of support, from Partnerships, Volunteers and public fundraisers.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced Individual giving fundraiser with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset.

Strategic Campaign Leadership

Title: Healthcare Assistant
Reports to: Patient Services Manager
Based at: Remote Worker– however must be able to travel as and when required to meetings and/or events
Job Purpose: To provide direct support to patients and support to all areas of the Charity Group
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17.30, Friday 09.00 – 17.00
Key Responsibilities:
· Responding to enquiries via telephone, email, online forums or social media with empathy, a listening ear, informative and supportive manner, whilst demonstrating confidentiality and sensitivity. Stay fully informed on the conditions and treatments associated with all three charities, ensuring the ability to respond to related enquiries becomes second nature
· Co-ordinate and action messages in the Patient Services Mailbox and distribute messages accordingly to the wider team where needed
· Maintain Patient Services documentation and make sure details are updated with clear and concise information
· Identifying gaps in patient information and assist in developing and proofreading relevant medically approved resources to reflect current guidelines, treatments, services and advances
· Frequently reviewing and assisting with update of content on charity websites and social media channels current and relevant Forums
· Supporting the organisation, promotion and delivery of all charity events including Patients Day, World Heart Rhythm Week, Global AF Aware Week, Know Your Pulse & Support Groups, Coffee mornings, Living with ...Series etc
· Build a central database of case studies / patient stories whether written or recorded

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a CRM Officer to support the CRM team in our London office.

This exciting CRM Officer role will support the data team with data imports, data selections and processing of income.
The Foundation has just started using a new CRM after undergoing a CRM migration from Raiser’s Edge, a very exciting time to be joining the Foundation! This role, alongside with other members of the CRM team, will liaise with the CRM Project Teams to support and ensure the successful outcome of the project and get us up to BAU.
What does the role involve?
- Manage data processes, imports and exports of all fundraising data including direct debits, new donors, email signups etc. in accordance with agreed protocols and in agreement with CRM Manager.
- Ensure that the use of the Fundraising database and the capture of all data from supporters or prospects conforms to data protection guidelines including GDPR relating to supporter preferences and consent.
- Support training for colleagues using the new CRM (Beacon) and help ensure all members are trained and kept up to date on new features and enhancements as they require to do their job effectively.
- Support the reconciliation of the bank statement with Beacon and ensure the Finance team know where to find information to enable accurate coding for management accounts.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team role using Raiser’s Edge or any database similar, with experience of CRMs in general.
- Evidenced experience of managing high volumes of personal data using a large and complex supporter/CRM database.
- Evidenced ability to think analytically and deliver the most effective and accurate solutions for data capture, manipulation and reporting.
