Responsibilities
Research, Evaluation & Learning
Project Delivery: Delivery of research and evaluation projects, supporting the development of project plans, methodologies and data collection tools.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Own the analysis of quantitative, qualitative & SROI research data and contribute to the preparation of clear, engaging reports, dashboards and impact-focused case studies for clients and stakeholders.
Quality and Rigour: Apply high standards of accuracy and ethical practice across all project tasks. Proactively flag issues and contribute to continuous improvement of Bean’s processes and outputs.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed with developments in evaluation methods, social impact frameworks and best practice. Bring relevant insights to the team to strengthen our collective approach and capabilities.
B Corp Commitment: Actively support and further improve Bean’s own environmental and social performance.
Working With Clients
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with client teams. Act as the day-to-day point of contact, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness and a consistently high-quality client experience.
Project Coordination: Help coordinate evaluation activities, fieldwork logistics and client communications, ensuring projects run smoothly and to schedule.
Bean Operations
Advocate and Thought Leadership: Be a vocal advocate for Bean and for social value, active on LinkedIn and across the sector, and help position Bean as a thought leader through articles, insights, events and panels.
New business Opportunities: Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, contributing to proposals and helping to position Bean’s services confidently and creatively in the market.
Team Contribution: Work collaboratively and supportively within the team, sharing knowledge and contributing positively to a high-performing, values-led culture. Support interns or junior colleagues fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Bean’s 5 Pillars of Success: Own and deliver at least one agreed pillar project each quarter, aligned with Bean’s strategic priorities and agreed with the Director. This might include work on processes, positioning, potential business, client excellence and how we best partner with people.
Candidate Profile
You are a careful, methodical evaluation or research professional who takes genuine pride in getting things right. You combine methodological knowledge with strong attention to detail, and you are a natural team player: cooperative, supportive and reliable. You value clarity of task, high standards and seeing work through thoroughly, and you can translate findings clearly for clients who are not evaluators themselves.
Essential
Experience delivering evaluation or social research projects, including data collection, analysis and reporting across qualitative and quantitative methods.
Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to accuracy, ethics and high-quality outputs.
Confidence supporting the design of evaluation frameworks, logic models or theories of change.
Excellent organisation and project-coordination skills, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
Clear, accessible written and verbal communication, including turning data into engaging findings for non-specialist clients.
A collaborative, dependable approach: comfortable being the day-to-day point of contact and supporting colleagues and junior staff.
The right to work in the UK.
Desirable
Experience in the charity, funder or wider social impact sector.
SROI or value for money experience; Social Value International (SVI) Level 1, or an interest in working towards it, would be a real bonus.
Knowledge of participatory or co-design approaches.
Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client meetings as required.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Head of Services, providing full operational leadership across our Accommodation Services and Day Centre Services, ensuring safe, consistent and effective delivery across all frontline provision.
This includes:

The role holds full responsibility for day-to-day operational delivery and decision-making within services, ensuring they run safely and effectively, with only critical or strategic issues escalated to the Chief Executive.
The role also provides management oversight of property, compliance and health and safety functions delivered by the Facilities Manager and wider staff teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Oversight
- Provide operational leadership across both services, ensuring safe, consistent and effective delivery.
- Support and enable staff delivering day-to-day services, providing clear leadership, guidance and appropriate autonomy within agreed standards.

Accommodation & Day Centre Services

- Maintain operational oversight of property standards, compliance systems, inspections, maintenance reporting and fire safety processes delivered by the Facilities Manager and wider staff teams.
- Ensure compliance with HMO requirements, supported housing standards and organisational procedures through monitoring and escalation where required.
- Provide leadership and support to staff responsible for housing management functions, ensuring systems are followed consistently.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
- Provide oversight of safeguarding across all services, ensuring procedures are followed consistently.
- Ensure safeguarding systems, risk assessments and incident management processes are implemented effectively.
- Monitor safeguarding activity and ensure appropriate action and escalation.
- Support staff in managing safeguarding concerns, complex needs and high-risk incidents.

Health & Safety
- Provide management oversight of health and safety across all services, ensuring safe and compliant working environments.

A front door is not the finish line. For people moving on from rough sleeping, accommodation can be the first real point of safety in years — but keeping it, trusting support and preparing for independent housing takes skill, patience and persistence.
As Lead Support Worker in our Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme, you will support people accepted into RSAP move on accommodation to settle, sustain their tenancy and build the confidence, skills and connections they need to move forward. You will work with people who may be navigating trauma, poor mental health, substance use, offending histories, isolation or long periods of exclusion from services, offering support that is practical, consistent and rooted in their strengths.
You will take a lead role in referrals and assessments, develop high quality support and risk management plans, and work closely with housing, health, social care, criminal justice, substance use, mental health and community partners. From helping someone manage rent, bills and repairs, to advocating when systems become a barrier, you will be part of turning accommodation into a stable platform for longer term independence.
This is a role for someone who can combine warmth with tenacity. You will need to build trust, hold boundaries, stay calm when progress is uneven, and bring creative energy to complex situations. About the Role
As an Operations Manager you will lead and manage the delivery of victim services supporting adults, children and young people, including specialist DA support for children and our Restorative Justice team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our service supporting Carers across City of London to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs. We are working with Carers from a range of cultures, and it would be an advantage to speak Bengali.
The team work holistically with Carers to understand their individual circumstances and level of need. You’ll carry out home visits and community-based meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Carers, families, and professionals. You will also support Carers to complete written forms and applications, draft letters, and advocate with third parties.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. The role also requires you to support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
Together with colleagues, you will plan and deliver the service’s activity package, including coffee mornings, drop-in sessions, activities, online and face to face groups, and peer support forums. There will also be opportunities to promote the service by attending meetings and forums, and to deliver training sessions to professionals and community organisations so that they have the skills to identify Carers.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector.
This is a full-time position, and you should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline. If further funding became available there may be an opportunity for more hours.

- Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.

Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to projects such as employee engagement initiatives, policy updates, wellbeing programmes, EDIE (VIBE, Voice, Inclusion, Belonging, Engagement) and system improvements.
- Support quality assurance processes in line with National Mind policies and ISO9001 standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve people processes, recommending and implementing enhancements under the guidance of the People & Culture Director
General Responsibilities
- To support any member of the People and Culture team and to cover team absence as required.
- Note taking for meetings as required
- Promote Hertfordshire Mind services by attending events, campaigns, and open days to raise awareness of mental health.
- Uphold Hertfordshire Mind policies and procedures, including the Equalities Statement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team.

Please note: The ideal candidate will need to be able to travel and cover the area Herts Mind Network serves. Candidates in Greater London may not be suitable for this role as it is not only in Watford.
Being able to drive and having access to your own vehicle (or equivalent) is essential for this role.

About the role:
Join our Wandsworth accommodation service as a Day Concierge and be right at the centre of the day-to-day running of the building. This is hands-on, front-of-house work where you’ll be the first face people see and the steady presence that keeps things running smoothly. From managing access and responding to day-to-day issues, to working with colleagues, contractors and partner agencies, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, calm and well-run environment where people can begin to settle and move forward.
You’ll be working alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, building professional, respectful relationships while maintaining clear boundaries. It’s a role that blends practical problem-solving with people skills; no two days are the same, and your ability to stay organised, observant and approachable will make a real difference to how the service feels and functions.
At Single Homeless Project (SHP), this role is a strong starting point if you’re looking to build a career in the sector. You’ll gain exposure to frontline services, develop confidence in managing a busy environment and be supported to grow your skills and progress in a way that works for you.
The working rota for this role is 25 hours per week 8am - 4:45pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

St James’s, Piccadilly is at an exciting moment in its 340-year history. The ‘Wren Project’ was recently awarded a major grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to complete fundraising towards the £23m. The Wren Project has secured it’s Permission to Start from the Heritage Fund and the Delivery Phase is well under way.
This new role will be the first recruitment to a new team which will be responsible for finalising and delivering the Wren Project Activity Plan, working alongside the in-house team.
The Activity Plan will ensure that the proposed repairs and upgrades to the buildings are delivered in tandem with a first-class heritage learning and participation programme. It will be impactful, inclusive and sustainable, delivering outcomes for the community, the heritage and the organisation. This will be achieved by:
