The Role

The role will be at the heart of our London and Hertford delivering Community Investment and partnership actively through commissioning and supporting activity that creates social impact. You will lead in the delivery and ongoing development of a Locality based Community Investment strategy, embedding our Thriving Communities, Customer Impact and Corporate Plan priorities across two localities.

Reporting to the Community Investment and Partnership Manager this post will be embedded with our other customer facing teams and require excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development and commitment to customer service with the confidence to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

• Creating, implementing and overseeing the delivery of a wide-ranging programme of interventions in localities
• Ensuring that contracts and projects are managed effectively, including performance management that demonstrates our social impact
• Ensuring the smooth and effective financial management of projects via contracts and grants, including adhering to procurement and financial regulations
• Supporting the Partnerships and Funding team by writing bids that bring in external funding to deliver social impact in our communities
• Working collaboratively with Community Investment colleagues to ensure the Thriving Communities vision is delivered in localities
• Working effectively with our Grants Officer to support the grant programmes and work with awardees as required
• Embedding a framework for social impact and outcomes recording

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have significant experience and expertise in the Community Investment sector gained from working in a similar role.

You'll need excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development and commitment to customer service with the confidence to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

You'll also have:

• A proven track record of positive stakeholder engagement and relationship management, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written, tailored to a range of audiences
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Experience of quality assurance of projects, including monitoring and evaluation systems
• Confidence with budget management and financial systems
• IT literate and able to use technology for effective project delivery

The role is to assist the Safeguarding Trustee, providing strategic leadership, policy oversight, governance, and cultural development in safeguarding. It is to ensure compliance with national legislation and the “One Church” Approach of the Catholic Church of England and Wales articulated through the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) within the safeguarding framework of the Abbey charitable trust.

About the Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and thoughtful leader to join RABI as our new Head of Central Operations. This is a senior role at the centre of the organisation, reporting to the Director of People & Resources and working as part of the senior leadership team.

The role:

Enquiries

• To be the first point of contact for all enquiries into the College managed through a digital ticketing system.
• Respond to enquiries using information and knowledge from all departments of the College, which often involves the interpretation and application of rules and procedures.  Use judgement to triage what action is required, where appropriate.
• Respond to all enquiries relating to qualification journeys, which includes information about the qualification/course, assistance in applying and payment, processing updates, help with learning journey on Learning Management System (LMS), the awarding and recertification of qualifications.
• Respond to all enquiries relating to membership, which includes help choosing the appropriate membership type and associated fees, renewals, upgrades, direct debits, and cancellation.
• Respond to all other enquiries, such as information on CoSRH events, and from prospective members about the work and activity of the College.

Qualification processing

• Responsible for the administration and processing of all CoSRH qualifications, recertifications and recertification audits in line with agreed procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Responsible for processing reasonable adjustment and extension requests.
• Work closely with relevant teams when new training, assessments or qualifications are introduced to ensure accurate administration and processing.
• Support the administration and processing of applications from outside the UK for international qualifications

Membership

• Support the longer-term development and improvement of systems and processes, and contribute to wider departmental discussions.

Governance

• Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help with efficiencies and quality assurance in the team.
• Create canned responses for use on frequent and complex enquiries to help aid efficiency in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection principles while managing enquiry and application information.
• Actively participate in the delivery of continuous improvement, working collaboratively with colleagues across the College.

Carers Information and Support Worker  (After Care)  

22.5 hours per week

£17,996.42 per annum (£29,594 pro-rata)

 Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving Carers’ quality of life. We listen to Carers, give them a voice, provide information, practical and emotional support and promote Carers’ rights across the South Tees area.

 We are seeking an ‘After Care’ Information and Support Worker to provide information and support to carers whose caring roles are changing. The postholder will provide practical information and support to bereaved carers in a range of settings. The postholder will also coordinate and facilitate peer support activities for former carers including grief and loss support.

 To succeed in this role, applicants must have:

 ·Knowledge and experience of providing information and practical support to vulnerable people.  

· Experience of working with people who are experiencing issues relating to bereavement/loss.

· Experience of facilitating support groups and peer support activities.  

This role is based between our offices in Park View Medical Clinic, Middlesbrough and The Innovation Centre, Kirkleatham Business Park, Redcar. The postholder must be able to travel between these two sites, and to other locations in the community including the homes of clients.

The role

As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. You will work with young people who have been identified as having higher support needs and be proactive in taking steps to manage risk across your caseload. We are looking for a Senior Coach who can lead on demonstrating best practice across the coaching team and support the Programme Management Team to maintain an excellent standard of support.  You will use your insight and experience to act as a mentor to new coaches and support coaching colleagues in their practice, and to look to actively improve our support offer in collaboration with other Senior Coaches and Programme Managers. We are looking for someone who is compassionate in their work with others and celebrates examples of good practice whilst highlighting where there are areas for improvement, approaching this in a collaborative way.

You will draw on your experience to build and strengthen relationships with external professionals and develop Settle’s network across the boroughs where young people live. 

What we're looking for

We are looking for a driven, experienced individual, with the relevant skills to provide high quality support to a caseload of young people and ensure we give the very best we can. We are interested in someone who has a good grounding in a related frontline service and experience of proactively managing a caseload, collecting high quality data and keeping accurate notes. You will have the ability to take initiative and be comfortable flexing your priorities to support young people alongside holding Settle’s strategic goals.

You will be comfortable managing a level of heightened risk with the young people you are supporting, keeping timely and high-quality records, liaising with other professionals from a range of backgrounds, and providing support to colleagues to work towards positive outcomes for young people. You will have experience in managing safeguarding concerns well and thrive in the ups and downs of support-based work.

Overall, we are looking for a compassionate frontline worker, with an understanding of the value in coaching, and who has a level head at times of crisis. You are not afraid of shying away from difficult conversations and will challenge others appropriately to help them see a different perspective or viewpoint, always holding young people at the centre of your work.

Our Maintenance team works across multiple properties to ensure our residents have safe, good‑quality homes. We operate across East Sussex, centred around our Foyers in Eastbourne and Hastings, which provide 24‑hour supported housing for young people aged 16–25. We also manage several larger shared houses (typically 4–8 residents) through our Transitional Housing teams, supporting young people on their journey to independence.
In total, the team helps maintain safe homes for approximately 180 residents across the county.

We are recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Worker to supervise a small team of Maintenance Workers across East Sussex. This is a hands-on role, combining practical maintenance tasks with day‑to‑day staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising maintenance staff, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and support
• Providing a comprehensive maintenance, caretaking, and cleaning service to ensure safe, welcoming, psychologically informed accommodation
• Carrying out day‑to‑day maintenance across our sites in East Sussex, and occasionally supporting other housing schemes
• Completing maintenance, cleaning, repair, and redecoration works within agreed timescales, and delegating tasks where appropriate

Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.

We're looking for someone who is confident in supporting the design and delivery of community-led research projects, supporting community engagement activities and providing administrative support to the programme. An understanding of health inequities, systemic racism and the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities is essential.

This role will focus on co-production, community engagement and participatory research.
