Summary
We are seeking a hardworking, ambitious, and dynamic Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal, who will also act as the HR Lead, to join Harris Academy Clapham at an exciting stage in our development.
This pivotal role will be based across Harris Academy Clapham Secondary and Harris Clapham Sixth Form, providing high-level administrative, organisational, and professional support to the Executive Principal. In addition, the postholder will lead on HR administration and coordination, acting as the main point of contact for staff HR matters and supporting the effective implementation of people processes across both sites.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of executive leadership and HR functions, whilst also benefiting from excellent opportunities to engage with wider Harris Federation academy improvement initiatives and to participate in ongoing professional development, supporting both personal growth and career progression.
This role is term time only, and the actual salary will be £45,092.19 - £46,895.95 (39 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week).

Main Areas of Responsibility
The key duties of this role will cover:
- Managing the Executive Principal's diary, including identifying and arranging meetings and dessiminating briefings and documents, adding any necessary deadlines
- Communications and administration, including proofreading correspondence, communicating with key stakeholders, dealing with complex enquiries, and maintaining files and contact lists
- Managing meetings
- Being the Clerk to Governors
- HR support, including managing resignations, absence leave, risk assessments and sickness records
Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- An appropriate degree or equivalent level of education
- Training in the use of a variety of ICT packages
- Knowledge of personal assistant roles and responsibilities
- Training in typing and formatting of a variety of documents including spreadsheets
- At least two years' experience working in school or other educational establishment
- Experience of managing staff in relation to the PA role
- Some experience of human resources e.g. recruitment and/or monitoring attendance
- Experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Experience of managing meetings including preparation and circulation of papers, minutes and ensuring information is circulated as required
- Experience of managing diaries at a high level, including communication with a range of audiences

What is the role of Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer?
The Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer plays a key role in building and strengthening relationships with our supporters, this can include churches, church leaders, key volunteers and individual. You’ll engage with people personally – primarily through phone and email – to inspire generosity, communicate impact, and ensure every supporter feels valued and connected to Church Army’s mission.
You’ll also support the smooth running of our supporter systems, helping ensure that data is accurate and that every interaction leads to meaningful follow-up. About the role:
The Finance Manager is responsible for PLH’s financial systems, controls, and compliance. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth financial operations, accurate and timely reporting, and full compliance with UK Charity Commission requirements and donor regulations.
The position acts as:
- the primary point of contact between PLH and its outsourced accounting firm;
- the operational counterpart to a strategic Senior Director of Finance; and
- the primary source of financial support for programme teams.
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
- Act as the primary organisational contact for the outsourced accounting firm, setting expectations, reviewing performance, and ensuring service quality.
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, reviewing outputs from the outsourced accounting firm and producing management reports and key financial insights, including:
○ Cash flow and liquidity position
○ Income recognition
○ Restricted vs unrestricted funds
○ Project-level budget variance and cost recovery
- Maintain and update PLH’s Financial Model to reflect actuals, updated revenue and expense projections, and key variances against the approved annual budget, highlighting any significant issues or risks to the Senior Director of Finance.
- Regularly update forecasts based on actual performance and current assumptions within PLH’s Financial Model.
- Manage PLH’s project budgets and work closely with project managers, enforcing consistent standards of budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Financial Compliance
- Review accounting records and supporting documentation prepared by the outsourced accounting firm.
- Ensure compliance across all donor-funded projects, in line with donor regulations and PLH’s internal financial policies.
- Enforce and evaluate strong financial policies and internal controls, regularly reviewing and aligning these systems with UK Charity Commission guidance and reporting requirements.
- Lead audit preparation, coordinate internal inputs, and act as primary day-to-day contact for external auditors.
- Organise the completion and submission of PLH’s annual return and HMRC corporate tax return.
- Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and advise the Executive and Operations teams on mitigation measures (including approved salary adjustments) to buffer sharp decreases in currency value, in line with organisational policy.
Essential criteria:
- Fully or part-qualified professional accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or demonstrably equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a finance role, including at least two years in a finance management or senior finance position.
- Demonstrable experience overseeing monthly close processes and producing high-quality management accounts and financial reports.
- Strong experience monitoring budgets, maintaining rolling forecasts, and updating financial models based on actuals and revised assumptions.
- Experience preparing for, coordinating, and supporting audits, including liaison with external auditors.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, linked models, and scenario-based inputs and assumptions.
- Strong experience working with cloud-based accounting systems and the ability to rapidly become fully proficient in PLH’s finance systems.
- Strong understanding of internal financial controls, segregation of duties, and financial policy compliance in a regulated environment.

Project 17 is a small organisation working to end homelessness and severe poverty among migrants with no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
We are recruiting for two similar positions. One adviser will primarily work with families and provide advice on support under s.17 Children Act 1989. The other adviser will work primarily with adults with care needs and provide advice under the Care Act 2014.
The postholders will provide written and verbal advice and advocacy for migrants with no recourse to public funds. The advice will centre on accessing support from local authorities, but will also cover elements of housing law, asylum support and other areas.
The postholders will form part of our capacity building team, strengthening other organisations to work more effectively with migrants with NRPF. This will involve designing and delivering training, staffing an advice line for professionals and creating and updating resources to support effective advocacy.

The Role:
The Digital Content Officer will support the implementation of digital communications plans that will help NFCC to deliver on its vision of being a digital first service to support fire and rescue services and the communities they serve. This will include developing and enhancing NFCC’s digital presence across the corporate website, online engagement platforms, and wider online and social media channels. Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been delivering Nightlight, part of Hertfordshire’s crisis alternatives pathway, for the last 8 years. We are proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Crisis Cafes and 24/7 Crisis House.
We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.
As a senior member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.

About the Role

About the Role
The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising scalable, cloud-native environments that support Victim Support's critical technology services, including the containerised WitnessBox application.
In this hands-on role, you will work with AWS and Kubernetes to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, developing Infrastructure as Code, and improving automation across build and deployment processes.
You will support high availability services that people rely on every day, ensuring systems are resilient, compliant, and aligned with security best practices. Working closely with development, product, service delivery, and security teams, you will help deliver integrated, high-quality solutions and drive continuous improvement across the technology landscape.
About You
You will bring solid experience working with AWS and a strong background in building and optimising CI/CD pipelines. You'll have a good understanding of cloud security principles and a proactive approach to improving reliability, automation, and scalability.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications is important, alongside familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is also desirable.
You will be a strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement will be key to success in this role.

The Role
As an HR Advisor you will be the first point of contact for HR queries providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on all employment matters.
Your role will support the HR Business partners:
- Responding to initial queries providing clear and consistent practice across a variety of settings generating management reports to monitor sickness absence, performance and employee relations.
- Supporting the HR Business Partners on HR related activities relating to organisational change including TUPE and start-ups, restructuring exercises and job evaluations.
About You
You will be educated to Level 5 CIPD and have an up to date understanding and application of employment related legislation and HR practices.
You will need:
- Experience of providing advice on complex ER matters
- The ability to build excellent relationships quickly with key stakeholders and the wider business
