You will be instrumental in the quality and impactful implementation, delivery and retention of our sites. You will oversee the delivery of exceptional outcomes in support of the charity's mission. You will work as part of a Regional team to deliver outstanding programmes across your geography, establishing and leading partnerships throughout the life of a programme.

Background

Human Dignity Foundation (HDF) is a private, philanthropic foundation which was established to enable children to live with dignity. In recent years, we have focussed on funding organisations who help protect and safeguard children from sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA). HDF is a spend down foundation which expects to complete the funding of its international partner projects by the end of 2033.

In 2023, HDF updated its strategy to drive the expansion of our portfolio of projects and maximise the foundation’s future impact – to support more children affected by or at risk of CSEA. To support this strategy, HDF is in the process of setting a UK registered charity, which is expected to be operational by end of Q1 2026.

Job Purpose

The Finance and Operations Manager will oversee and support the operations of the UK charity, working closely with the HDF team based in Dublin, to ensure its smooth running and compliance with UK laws and charity regulations.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The Finance and Operations Manager role will be dynamic and diverse given the small nature of HDF’s team. The role will be expected to build on the processes, policies and tools already in existence within HDF Switzerland and adapt them to the UK context. Core responsibilities of this role will include:

Finance

•  Process and record payments and other transactions in the accounting system;
• Maintain financial records and prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, etc. for review by the Director of Finance and Operations;
• Support payroll processes and liaise with external providers;
• Manage required filings with HMRC as required (expected to be minimal);
• Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate/ support the annual audit/ financial verification of the charity;
• Prepare the annual budget and produce quarterly cashflow forecasts, ensuring timely drawdowns of funds from HDF Switzerland as needed.

Operations & Administration

• Produce and oversee the submission of reports and/or required filings to the Charities Commission and ensure broader compliance with its requirements;
• Produce reports and filings to Companies House as needed, and coordinate with the Company Secretary for their timely submission;
• Maintain the charity’s risk register to ensure risks are appropriately understood and mitigated;
• Produce and update internal policies, procedures and tools (templates to be provided where available);
• Set up and oversee the UK pension scheme, life assurance/ health insurance schemes as required with the relevant providers;
• Support the planning and delivery of meetings of the Board of Trustees and other internal and external meetings as needed;
• Organise travel arrangements for UK based staff(s) and Trustees as needed;
• In time the role may take over Company Secretary duties from our external provider;
• Conduct procurement, liaise with suppliers and manage their contracts as needed;
• Conduct other administrative tasks to support the running of the charity as needed, including but not limited to IT and HR;
• Support the charity’s Executive Chair of Trustees with tasks as may be reasonably required.

Grant Administration

• Support the development and amendment of grant agreements with partners as needed;
• Track and reconcile grant payments against agreements and perform required follow up with grantees as needed;
• Update and maintain HDF’s grant management information and filing system to ensure HDF’s records are accurate and up to date.

Person Specification

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, office management
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working for a charity/NGO sector

• Part-qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA, or other bookkeeping/ accounting qualification

We are looking to recruit either one full-time Project Coordinator or two part-time Coordinators who are organised, proactive and confident in both frontline delivery and programme coordination. You will have experience working with diverse communities, delivering community-based activities, coordinating weekly healthy cooking sessions and running a community café, as well as recruiting, training and supporting volunteers. You must be able to undertake effective outreach, engage local residents, and support volunteers to develop their skills and confidence. As a Switchback Mentor, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of young prison-leavers, helping them break free from the justice system and build stable, rewarding futures. You will be responsible for building your own caseload by engaging directly with young men in prison and providing intensive support after their release. In addition to working with those you meet in prison; you will also support Trainees referred to the programme after they have already been released.

Once on the programme, you will maintain regular contact with Trainees, meeting face-to-face at least once a week to help them navigate the challenges of being recently released from prison and work towards their goals. As part of a newly created Outreach squad focused on reaching and engaging with the bereaved military community, you will use digital marketing skills to help us develop a thriving online community. 

You’ll take full ownership of our day-to-day social media activity across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. From scheduling content and managing the calendar, to engaging with our audience and contributing to campaign ideas.You’ll also help deliver key marketing tasks that support outreach, engagement and growth, connecting families to the services we offer.

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Social Media (Core Accountability) 

Planning & Scheduling 

• Own and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent, relevant output aligned to Outreach priorities. 

• Schedule and publish content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok using agreed tools. 

• Work closely with the Head of Outreach to refine platform focus, tone, and audience segmentation. 

Content & Campaign Support 

• Suggest and implement social-first content ideas that support campaigns, service launches, and ongoing outreach to beneficiaries. 

• Create simple, on-brand social content where required (e.g. Canva graphics, polls, text-based posts, evergreen content). 

• Work closely with the in-coming Content Creator to ensure video and visual content is used effectively and repurposed across channels. 

Community Engagement 

• Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries across social platforms, with particular sensitivity to bereavement-related conversations. 

• Engage appropriately with the wider military, veteran, and bereavement community online to help maintain visibility and connection. 

• Escalate sensitive, safeguarding, or service-related enquiries to the appropriate team in line with agreed processes. 

Monitoring & Insight 

• Track and report on key social media metrics (e.g. reach, engagement, follower growth, link clicks). 

• Use insights to recommend improvements and help the Outreach Squad learn what content resonates. 

• Keep up to date with platform changes, trends, and best practice. 

Marketing Execution (Additional Responsibilities) 

Email Marketing 

• Own the creation, scheduling, and sending of regular email updates to bereaved families using agreed platforms. 

• Maintain email lists in line with data protection requirements and agreed segmentation. 

• Track basic performance metrics (open rates, click-throughs) and share insights with the Head of Outreach. 

Website Content Support 

• Upload and maintain marketing content on the website, including news articles, blogs, and impact updates. 

• Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and correctly formatted. 

• Work with the Head of Outreach to ensure content is published in a timely and coordinated way. 

General Marketing Support 

• Support the delivery of wider marketing and outreach activity as required (e.g. campaign roll-outs, asset updates, coordination tasks). 

• Assist with keeping marketing materials organised, up to date, and accessible for the wider team. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of how marketing activity is delivered across the Outreach Squad.

• Publishing consistently across key social channels in-line with priorities agreed with the Head of Outreach.

• Taken responsibility for creating and sending the weekly Children & young people (CYP) email, Springboarder (young adult) email, and monthly Community updates email. 

• Showing effective working practices with the Content Creator leading to engaging social content demonstrated by meeting agreed metrics. 

• Proactively supporting the Head of Outreach in other digital outreach activities. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Independently running day-to-day social media activity maintaining consistency in quality, tone and frequency.

• Recognised internally as the go-to person for day-to-day social media and email marketing delivery. 

• Demonstrating clear improvements in at least 2-3 agreed metrics (such as engagement rates, click throughs, open rates etc). 

• Using insights to optimising content mix, timing and formats to improve effectiveness.

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Must Have 

• Practical experience managing professional social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. 

• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms. 

• Confidence using social media scheduling tools and basic design platforms such as Canva. 

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate with empathy and professionalism, particularly around sensitive topics such as bereavement. 

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. 

• A genuine belief in Scotty’s mission and a commitment to representing the charity thoughtfully and responsibly online. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience uploading and managing content on a CMS (e.g. WordPress or similar). 

• Familiarity with interpreting basic performance data (social insights, email open and click-through rates) to inform improvements. 

• Experience of the UK military community. 

• An interest in community-building and using digital channels to create connection, not just visibility.

• Experience delivering or supporting email marketing campaigns, including writing copy and sending campaigns.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead our new Dorset High-Risk IDVA Service. As the IDVA Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational delivery, quality, and strategic oversight of a specialist team supporting victims of domestic abuse across Dorset. This role is 37.5 hrs offered as hybrid working with two days from our Boscombe office, however travel across Dorset will also be required.

You will provide strong leadership, ensure trauma-informed, victim-centred practice, and work closely with multi-agency partners-including Dorset Police, MARAC, DA service partners, health, and safeguarding teams-to ensure safe, high-quality and effective service delivery.

About the role

As Premises Supervisor, you will be part of the Estates and Maintenance team, supporting the day to day upkeep, safety and compliance of our education and residential buildings. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, working with minimal supervision and taking pride in maintaining high standards across the college.

You will also support statutory compliance checks, liaise with contractors, and help ensure our buildings remain safe and fit for purpose for young people, staff and visitors.

You will join a team of St Christopher’s workers providing day-to-day care and support for young people aged 12–18. The role includes administrative duties and accurate record-keeping, which are essential to ensuring high-quality care and compliance.

As the service operates on a 24-hour rota, the role will include weekends, bank holidays, early and late shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights. You will need strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
