We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Officer to join the Mass Participation Team of a fantastic, well-known Children’s Charity, for a 12 month FTC.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate multi-channel fundraising marketing campaigns, helping to drive supporter recruitment, engagement and income across Third Party Events, Schools Fundraising and DIY fundraising.
We’re looking for an audience-focused marketer with experience delivering campaigns across digital, social, content, email, paid media and offline channels, ideally within the charity/not-for-profit sector. You’ll be confident using insight and performance data to shape activity, improve supporter experience and deliver ambitious participation targets.
Key details:
- 12-month contract
- £34,582–£38,425 per annum, plus applicable location/homeworking allowances.
Plus London Weighting Allowance- £3,366 (1 day a week minimum in the office)
OR £500 a year home allowance
- Central London Office (Shoreditch area), hybrid or home working options available
- Occasional travel required to support major mass participation events, such as the London Marathon, approximately three times a year

Community Fundraising Manager
Location: London, Hybrid – 1 days a week in the office
Salary: £41,000 – £44,000 per annum
Reports to: Director of Fundraising

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious community and events fundraising programme that generates sustainable income, builds long-term supporter relationships, and increases awareness of the charity’s fantastic work.
The role will lead the development of community fundraising, supporting and inspiring individuals, families, schools, volunteers, and local groups and companies to fundraise for the charity. In addition, you will manage a portfolio of challenge and special events, ensuring excellent supporter experiences and strong financial returns.
This is a relationship-driven role that requires a proactive and innovative Fundraising Manager with strong project management skills, experience of supporter-led fundraising, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships across diverse audiences.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in community fundraising, events fundraising, or a related supporter-led income stream. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Experience of managing and delivering successful fundraising events. Line management responsibility.

The role is focused on accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, expenses, and reconciliations, supporting strong financial controls and the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the accounts payable function with timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments, expenses, and journals, including acting as the primary contact for queries.
- Maintaining strong financial control through supplier and bank reconciliations, payroll payment administration, and the upkeep of accurate financial records.
- Ensuring efficient day-to-day finance operations and ensuring integrity of processes and reconcilliations.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant finance/accounts payable experience in a similar role within a not-for-profit or charitable organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
