The role 

The Innovation team at Leadership Skills Foundation is responsible for the design and evaluation of learning programmes that give young people life‑changing skill development and leadership opportunities. As Innovation Officer you will provide support to our Innovation Leads across learning development, visual design, and research activities. 

This role is ideal for a creative all-rounder. You don’t need to be an expert in all areas on day one. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who can grow into the role and is energised by the idea of wearing multiple hats to help young people succeed. 

You will directly support a broad range of projects including:

What you’ll do 

Learning development 

• Work collaboratively to help create and test new learning programmes, and continuously improve our range of Awards and Qualifications based on research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme. 

• Support the creation, editing and quality-checking of course content and materials, such as Learner Evidence Records and tutor guidance documents. 

• Support digital learning activity, including content creation, managing online platforms and testing user experience.

Visual design and content 

• Create engaging visual designs for use in course materials and impact reporting, ensuring designs are always accessible and on brand. 

• Manage our library of learning resources, ensuring designs are reviewed regularly and improved based on feedback and research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme.

Research and evaluation 

• Play a supporting role organising and conducting research interviews, observations, surveys and focus groups.

We are seeking a strategic and creative Individual Giving & Engagement Fundraiser to grow supporter income and deepen relationships with individuals passionate supporting adults with neurological conditions and their unpaid carers.

This role will lead the organisation’s individual giving programme, developing strategies to attract, engage and retain supporters while increasing sustainable income.

You will bring a solid understanding of finance alongside experience of managing or implementing finance systems. Taking a systems-led approach, you will look at how processes can be improved, automated and better connected, while also being comfortable taking a hands-on role in system configuration, troubleshooting and day-to-day support when needed.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, IT and the wider organisation, using data and insight to improve reporting, data quality and efficiency. The Role:

The Digital Content Officer will support the implementation of digital communications plans that will help NFCC to deliver on its vision of being a digital first service to support fire and rescue services and the communities they serve. This will include developing and enhancing NFCC’s digital presence across the corporate website, online engagement platforms, and wider online and social media channels. The postholder will work to support the Digital Communications Manager and wider Communications team in the implementation of our Digital Communications Strategy which seeks to establish NFCC platforms as the go-to place on information about our work and resources. They will work closely with the Content and Guidance, IT and Digital Transformation teams, and other departments, to help establish and maintain a standard of excellence across website content, social media, and elements of digital design. 

What you will be doing:

Website content 

• Upload content across NFCC’s website and NFCC Connect, ensuring it is well-structured and aligned with NFCC’s style, accessibility and quality standards 

• Be involved in the development of web templates to support a variety of NFCC products

• Work within bespoke Wordpress modules to implement agreed edits and upload content 

• Work with content owners to make best use of existing branding guidelines and templates for NFCC products.

• Produce and edit basic digital assets (e.g., social graphics, web banners, visuals for newsletters), following NFCC brand and design templates. 

• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare materials for campaigns, webinars, and NFCC events. 

Additional Duties

• Provide wider communications support when required, including drafting short articles, internal updates, and member communications. 

• Participate in NFCC events, conferences, team away days and in-person meetings as required (travel costs covered). 

• Undertake other duties consistent with the role’s purpose, supporting the overall aims of the Communications and Public Affairs team. 

Who we are looking for:

• Demonstrable experience of Wordpress or similar content management systems (CMS) 

• Understanding and proven ability to use HTML to adapt web content where needed

• Experience of delivering projects in a communications environment. 

• A working knowledge of digital concepts and best practice including digital design, accessibility, user experience (UX) design and user interface (UI) design. 

• Experience in designing and delivering graphics, editing images, and basic web design. 

• Experience using the Adobe suite, especially Illustrator, PremierPro, and InDesign or functionally similar software.

• An understanding of copywriting and editing suitable for a range of digital platforms. 

• Proven track record in successfully driving social media activity as part of an integrated digital communications plan. 

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain focus on longer-term priorities. 

• Excellent wider digital skills including competent use of the entire M365 suite 

• Commitment to professional development and a ‘returning with learning’ programme to support the wider development of the Comms team.

We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to drive the adoption of Oak across schools and education organisations. In this role, you’ll design and deliver our go-to-market strategy - guiding schools from awareness through to adoption, sustained use, and advocacy, and develop the B2B partnerships strategy.

Working closely with Product, Marketing and Education teams, you’ll build relationships with schools, MATs and EdTech organisations, develop Oak’s school network and advocacy strategy, and oversee priority partnerships that accelerate adoption. You’ll also shape how we track and grow our adoption pipeline, including developing our CRM approach and expanding usage of Oak’s open API.

You’ll directly manage a Partnerships Manager, set clear priorities for growth, and act as a sector expert on B2B opportunities in education.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the development and execution of Oak’s B2B go-to-market strategy, working closely with Oak’s ‘adopt squad’.

• Build and scale the delivery of strategic partnerships to drive adoption of Oak’s curriculum and products across schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs) and EdTech organisations.

• Lead the development of strong relationships with EdTech organisations, enabling them to integrate and make effective use of Oak’s curriculum data and APIs in their products and services.

• Maintain specialist expertise in product adoption enablement within schools, and be an authority across Oak.

• Develop and manage a high-performing team of partnership managers.

• Work in cross-functional and product-oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation.

• As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the planning and culture of the organisation.

• Deputise for the Head of School Support and take on other general responsibilities as required.

We’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience defining and delivering B2B sales and marketing/adoption strategies, including segmentation, targeting and success metrics.

• Strong understanding of the Education sector, and how to shape propositions for MATs, decision makers and EdTech partners.

• Ability to align Product, Marketing and Education teams around a shared adoption growth plan.

• Strategic Team Leadership experience: setting direction, prioritising resources and developing high-performing teams.

The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute across all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace, with a range of digital systems (including proprietary ones as required), and you will continuously look at ways that the team can keep getting better. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
