Sebastian’s Action Trust (SAT) supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families. With the planned retirement of the current CEO, we are looking for an experienced charity leader with a background in fundraising, to take the organisation forward into the next phase of its strategic development. This could be an opportunity for a senior fundraising professional to take the next step into a CEO role. 

This role combines overall leadership of the charity with responsibility for income diversification and growth, with a focus on fundraising to drive stability and sustainability. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality services, events and support provision, ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety and safeguarding are maintained. They will also nurture relationships with partner organisations and other local charities to explore opportunities for collaboration and efficiency.

Strategic communications (30%) — ensure the reach of our influencing, write high-impact influencing content for our digital channels, and act as first point of contact for media enquiries.

About you

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage costs and ensure value across construction and maintenance projects within The Royal Parks.

Working throughout the RIBA stages, you’ll support the Works and Capital Projects teams with expert cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract management to help deliver projects that enhance and protect our historic spaces.

You’ll prepare detailed cost plans, schedules of works, and bills of quantities, closely monitoring project budgets and financial performance from start to finish.

Acting as a key link between clients, contractors, and stakeholders, you’ll advise on procurement strategies, evaluate cost returns, and ensure all financial processes are transparent, accurate, and compliant.

Additionally, you will:

• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost forecasting
• Oversee tender preparation, contract documentation, and evaluation of completed works
• Carry out regular site inspections and produce cost and progress reports

About You

To be considered as a Quantity Surveyor, you will need:

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost estimations, contract administration and procurement

• Report writing and analytical skills
• A degree-level qualification or equivalent through relevant training and/or experience

About the role

You’ll use your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s.

You’ll support the development of a vibrant national network, working in collaboration with the Professional Engagement team and the regional clinical leads. You’ll also work with health and care professionals and Parkinson’s UK colleagues to respond to any threats to Parkinson's services and effect positive change.

We provide a dedicated helpline, a comprehensive information hub, a network of peer support groups, a varied programme of community events, training for professionals working with those with PWS, and support for vital research. Our aim is to help our amazing community overcome the challenges and live life to the full with PWS.
We are looking for a part time PWS Specialist Adviser for Northern Ireland to support the PWS community in Northern Ireland. PWS is a rare and isolating condition and our ambition it to reach families in Northern Ireland to provide impactful advice, support, information and training. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth working knowledge of health and social care systems and education in Northern Ireland as well as a belief in the potential and value of people with Prader-Willi syndrome. 
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as being self-motivated and able to engage with families, health care professionals and policy makers. You will build on the excellent work of our existing support worker to continue engage and enable the PWS community. 
The position is part time (14 - 18 hours a week) and is home based and ideal for someone living in Northern Ireland

Veterans Community Occupational Therapist 

Location: Remote working

We have two positions available – one based in the North of England and one based in the South of England.

• North: Preferably based in North-West England, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool and surrounding areas.
• South: Preferably based in Salisbury or the surrounding areas.

We are open to candidates who live further afield, where the location is within a reasonable travelling distance for the community-based requirements of the role.

Both positions involve community-based travel as part of the role, as well as occasional UK-wide travel to attend face-to-face clinical and wider team meetings (approximately 4–5 times per year).

About MOVE Against Cancer

At MOVE Against Cancer our mission is to support and empower everyone impacted by cancer to be more active because movement matters. Exercise - in fact, all movement - is one of the most important things anyone diagnosed with cancer can do to enhance wellbeing and improve health outcomes both during and after treatment. MOVE Against Cancer is seeking a Digital and Resources Lead to develop and manage the organisation's digital presence, including our website, social media channels and online resources, such as our Movement Hub, to support people affected by cancer to move more. The postholder will lead the creation and sharing of engaging, accessible digital content, including articles, guides, videos, social media content and practical resources. They will ensure our website and digital platforms provide meaningful support for beneficiaries, while expanding the reach and impact of MOVE Against Cancer's work. The role will also lead the development of new resources and digital projects that encourage and enable more people affected by cancer to become and stay active.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Engagement

Lead the development and day-to-day management of MOVE Against Cancer’s social media channels. Create engaging content that encourages and supports people affected by cancer to move more and stay active. Develop and share regular content to show what MOVE are working on including: movement tips educational content participant stories programme highlights expert insights Build and nurture an online community around movement and cancer. Increasing our engagement. Monitor engagement and use insights to improve reach and impact.

Digital Resources and Educational Content

Lead our resource advisory group and resource development projects. Develop, share and maintain online resources that support people living with and beyond cancer. Produce accessible digital content such as: articles Guides toolkits FAQs movement advice pages newsletters programme information Ensure resources are clear, supportive and evidence informed. Website Development

Working in partnership with our digital agency, lead the development, testing and improvement of website content. Ensure resources are easy to find, well organised and regularly updated. Create new pages and digital content that support both beneficiaries and partners.

Multimedia Content Creation and Sharing

Produce and manage multimedia digital content, including: short videos photography participant interviews educational content Capture stories that highlight the benefits of movement during and after cancer treatment.

Person Specification

Essential skills and experience

Experience creating and managing digital content across platforms, particularly social media and websites. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and accessible content such as articles, guides, and online resources. Experience planning and delivering social media content and engagement. Experience managing or updating website content (e.g. CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar). Experience producing video or multimedia content (videography, photography, editing). Ability to translate complex or specialist information into clear, supportive content for different audiences. Strong organisational skills and ability to plan and manage a digital content calendar. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and beneficiaries to gather stories and develop content.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience creating educational or health-related content. Understanding of digital accessibility and inclusive communication, and knowledge of mailchimp. Experience using analytics tools to evaluate digital engagement and improve content. Experience working in the charity, health or cancer support sector. Experience supporting impact measurement, feedback surveys or CRM/database systems. Experience of working with and managing digital and web development agencies.

We're looking for a talented Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to help deliver our growth ambitions. Working closely with the CEO and Senior Partnerships Manager, you'll play a key role in securing the funding and partnerships that enable Brightside to expand its reach and impact.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying funding opportunities from trusts and foundations
• Writing compelling grant applications, proposals and reports
• Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective funders
• Supporting stewardship and relationship management with funders and partners
• Contributing to wider partnership and philanthropy activity, including prospect research and proposal development

• A proven track record of securing grants from trusts and foundations
• Excellent bid-writing and written communication skills
• Experience managing fundraising pipelines and multiple deadlines
