Job description

Help us grow a thriving community that makes a difference

Every day, helplines provide life-changing support to people seeking information, advice and someone to listen. At Helplines Partnership, we support the organisations behind those services by providing membership, training, accreditation, networking and sector leadership.

We're looking for a Membership Executive who enjoys building relationships, connecting people and creating positive experiences. If you're organised, proactive and enjoy working with a wide range of people, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be at the heart of our membership offer, helping organisations get the most from their membership while encouraging new organisations to join our growing community.

In this varied role, you'll:

  • Build strong relationships with members and prospective members.
  • Promote the benefits of membership and support membership growth.
  • Help keep members engaged through communications, events and networking opportunities.
  • Support webinars, meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and member information within our CRM system.
  • Produce reports and insights to help shape future activity.
  • Provide friendly, professional support and be a key point of contact for members.

No two days are quite the same, which makes this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working with people.

About you

We're looking for someone who can build rapport quickly and provide excellent service to members and stakeholders.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a charity, customer service, engagement or stakeholder-facing role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using databases or CRM systems.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in supporting purpose-driven organisations.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team that is passionate about strengthening the helpline sector.

In return, we offer:

  • Flexible home-based working.
  • Generous annual leave and pension scheme.
  • Life assurance and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • A supportive and values-led culture.
  • The opportunity to make a real difference by supporting organisations that help people every day.

Our commitment to inclusion

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organisation and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and communities.
