Veterans Community Occupational Therapist
Location: Remote working
We have two positions available – one based in the North of England and one based in the South of England.
- North: Preferably based in North-West England, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool and surrounding areas.
- South: Preferably based in Salisbury or the surrounding areas.
We are open to candidates who live further afield, where the location is within a reasonable travelling distance for the community-based requirements of the role.
Both positions involve community-based travel as part of the role, as well as occasional UK-wide travel to attend face-to-face clinical and wider team meetings (approximately 4–5 times per year).
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

We are seeking a talented Director of Programme Delivery and Operations (maternity cover), fully committed to our widening participation cause, to join the Senior Leadership Team in a pivotal role for a growing and ambitious charity.

Lead the development and day-to-day management of MOVE Against Cancer’s social media channels. Manage a digital content calendar across social media and the website. Coordinate contributions from staff, partners and participants. Ensure consistency in tone, accessibility and messaging.
Data, Learning and Impact
Help us gather data and understand data. Use analytics to understand how people engage with digital content. Support the development of feedback and impact surveys for beneficiaries. Essential skills and experience

The Role
You will hold a caseload of women living in refuge, in the community and/or moving on to independent accommodation. Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, you will provide practical and emotional support, advocacy, safety planning, and crisis intervention, helping women navigate some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering trauma-informed one-to-one support and safety planning.
- Supporting women with complex and intersecting needs.
- Advocating on behalf of women with housing, health, criminal justice, safeguarding, and social care services.

Purpose of Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management of Youth Work Delivery
- Provide strategic leadership for youth work delivery at centre level, including centre-based provision, outreach, and integrated Outdoor Education and residential opportunities, ensuring provision is planned, resourced and developed in response to local need, youth voice, and GMYF priorities.
- Provide clear professional leadership for high quality, inclusive youth work across centre based provision, outreach, offsite venues, and outdoor education youth work.

Beder was established in memory of Beder Mirjan, who sadly took his own life in 2017 at the age of 18. Since then, we have spent the past eight years working to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, challenge stigma and, increasingly, provide tangible support to people who need it.
The focus of our work is the Beder Therapy Voucher programme, through which we fund free therapy for people (18+) across the UK as we all need someone to talk to with demand for that support growing significantly.
Until now, much of Beder's fundraising has been founder-led, supported by an incredible network of ambassadors, partners, businesses and individuals. We have built exciting partnerships across sport, business, entertainment and hospitality whilst creating a charity with an engaged community and an ambitious vision for the future.
We are now ready to build a dedicated and sustainable fundraising function so we are looking for someone who can take ownership of that journey.
This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to manage an existing fundraising programme as we are looking for someone who enjoys building one.
