The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Youth Hub Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality youth hub services, primarily in Chelsea (World’s End and surrounding areas). This is a leadership role that combines strategic planning, hands-on delivery, and team management.

You will:

• Lead and manage youth hub operations across Chelsea and Lancaster Youth Hubs.
• Develop innovative programmes that reflect the voices and needs of young people.
• Manage a team of 5 Youth Workers and recruit volunteers.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, local organisations, and stakeholders.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for youth hub services.
• Play an active role in income generation and fundraising to ensure sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and deliver a varied programme of youth activities, including holiday programmes, trips, and residentials.
• Champion FFLY’s values and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.
• Represent FFLY at partnership meetings and deputise for the CEO when required.
• Monitor and report on service impact, ensuring funder requirements are met.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Head of Philanthropy, you will support a range of fundraising activities, most predominantly researching new avenues for funding within trusts, foundations and corporate partners, completing grant applications, carrying out communications and reporting to existing funders and raising the profile of the charity through representing Action Tutoring at funder or networking events. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the world of fundraising activities, working with a passionate, committed and driven team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Research new opportunities for Action Tutoring to explore for fundraising and carry out initial enquiries to determine suitability to apply to trusts and foundations. 
• Prepare and submit grant applications to suitable trusts, foundations and corporates, carrying out careful research to ensure the applications are as strong as possible and include relevant data and case studies.
• Work alongside the Corporate Partnerships Team to encourage corporate support through donations or grants.

The Innovation, Development Fundraising Manager is a new role within the charity. The purpose of this position is to work with the Senior Leadership Team and other staff members to:

· Help develop and fund new activities in our existing services.

· Through the development and modelling of pilot projects, help the SLT with the implementation of our three-year strategy and seek funding through trust and grant foundations for the delivery of the above.

· Collaborate with the Chief Executive to identify and apply for new funding streams that support the work and growth of the charity and build on our current service delivery.

You will seek to develop and diversify the base of supporters and to achieve fundraising targets working with the CEO and SLT, supported by the board of trustees. Responsibilities and main duties:

o Work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and others in the leadership team to develop and spearhead delivery of a funding and financial plan that will enable delivery of our mission, strategy 2026-29 and delivering our financial strategic objectives.

o Proactively research and develop opportunities from trusts and foundations, developing a funding database and pipeline.

o Working with the CEO and service managers, initializing, and developing projects, producing compelling funding proposals and grant applications, initiating prospect meetings, and confidently pitching new funders to successfully convert prospects to funders or donors.

o Work with the leadership team and local service managers, and volunteers to fundraise local community support activity in the areas we operate in.

o Explore and test new fundraising approaches (such as events and corporate) to further grow and diversify income,

o Build and sustain strong relationships with a broad range of funding individuals and organizations, using a wide range of appropriate stewardship approaches to develop and retain their support for Build on Belief.

o Stay informed of existing and new fundraising legislation and ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice and all other statutory obligations, maintaining and communicating internal policies as appropriate.

o Actively instill an organizational culture of fundraising, ensuring that everyone in the organization, including our trustees, understands and contributes to our fundraising strategy.

o Develop a good working knowledge of the charity’s activities, our approaches to addiction and recovery and some of the wider evidence base to tackle addiction and dependency to represent BoB authoritatively to supporters and external audiences.

Experience

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate success in generating income through community engagement, has experience planning and delivering fundraising events, and understands the principles of community-centric fundraising.You will be comfortable establishing systems and processes as needed, working independently whilst collaborating across teams. Cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse communities is essential, along with the ability to build trust and rapport with different community groups. Strong communication skills, attention to detail regarding compliance and data protection, and creative problem-solving abilities will be crucial to your success in this role.The post holder will have the following essential criteria:

• Experience in successfully generating income through community fundraising activities
• Demonstrable experience working and building relationships with marginalised communities, particularly LGBTQ+ and/or Ethnic Minorities communities
• Experience planning and delivering fundraising events
• Experience establishing or developing fundraising systems and processes
• Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in fundraising within diverse communities

This is a 12–15-month maternity cover contract, paying a salary of £58,700 per annum. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in London.

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will primarily be focused on generating funds from high value individuals, through major gifts, mid value gifts and legacies, to support these goals. The postholder will develop and review the strategy for stewarding individuals into making major gifts and maximising the income generated from them.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and managing high value donations from individuals. You will have extensive experience in individual giving, ideally within an arts and culture or heritage organisation and of fundraising for a capital campaign.

In this role, you will report to Catherine Lalonde, Head of Food, Oceans, and Land Use, African Partnerships. Catherine joined ClientEarth in 2025 and is based in Brussels. She leads ClientEarth’s programmes and impact strategies in Africa, built on long-term partnerships with lawyers and civil society organisations across West and Central Africa. Her work is grounded in regional priorities while ensuring alignment with ClientEarth’s global mission and strategy.

Main Duties

• Work collaboratively with partners to foster and create an effective and efficient programme management culture and embed best practices to support the optimal delivery of strategic initiatives. This includes continuing to innovate and strengthen the way in which ClientEarth engages with partners, especially in light of the decolonizing aid agenda. 
• Responsible for effective programme management of regional projects—including contract and budget oversight—to deliver efficient, value-for-money, and sustainable outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, working with colleagues across programmes to ensure plans and impacts are timely and aligned with strategic objectives. 
• Support cross-partner regional collaboration, strategy, and planning to achieve consortium goals, while championing creative facilitation techniques and interactive group exercises in both online and in-person settings. 

Role requirements

• Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English 
• Fluent (CEFR level C2) in French
• Proven, extensive experience managing complex, multi-country programmes in the not-for-profit sector, including oversight of substantial six- to seven-figure budgets and coordination with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively with national partners and stakeholders in developing country settings, such as civil society organizations, law firms, consultants and local communities

About the role 

This exciting opportunity will be supporting the Third Party Events Manager with the ongoing development of our third party running and challenge events. You’ll be forming strong relationships with our supporters and delivering event experiences from concept to completion. 

This role has lots of potential for growth and development. You’ll work closely with the Events Management team to expand and develop our third party events programme, steward existing supporters and engage new audiences that aim to raise the charity’s profile and reach as well as significant income.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Third Party Events Manager to manage and develop the 3rd party events strategy and budgets, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

• Plan, manage, deliver and develop 3rd party events in order to achieve agreed income, expenditure and audience targets

• Create and manage event budgets ensuring that income, expenditure and KPI’s are met

• Work with the Events Managers to create and develop stewardship communications across a range of channels

• Lead the strategic plan and development of the Team Parkinson’s social media platforms to create a friendly, engaging and ‘community feel’ environment

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of successfully delivering a variety of fundraising events including recruitment of participants and volunteers 

• Experience of drawing up budgets and managing income (min £350,000) and expenditure (min £85,000) 

• Understanding of data and insight that is needed to test, optimise and evaluate the running events portfolio 

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Experience of project management including liaising with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
