Contract
Job description
At KCLSU, our vision is to create a future where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Together with our members, we are a union of students where individuals love their university experience, are involved in shaping the future, and have the power to make change and connect to each other.

We work to achieve this in a way that is aligned to our values - Inclusive, Collaborative, Open and Brave. These values guide how we behave, and how we go about our work.

As the Business Development Coordinator, you will develop and manage relationships with a range of external partners, clients and stakeholders, creating opportunities that generate income and deliver value for KCLSU and its members. This will include managing commercial partnerships, sponsorships, media sales opportunities, venue hire activity and external event relationships.

Working closely with internal and external partners and stakeholders, you will:

  • Lead coordination and delivery of commercial activities, maximise revenue across KCLSU spaces and events.
  • Support development of innovative income-generating opportunities.
  • Act as the key liaison between partners and KCLSU, ensuring activities are delivered effectively, relationships are maintained to a high standard, and commercial objectives are achieved in a way that enhances the student experience.

The full job description and person specification is attached - if you would like to apply, please complete an application form including your personal statement.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport/visa) when asked by KCLSU. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
  • Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one.
  • Not be a trustee of King's College London Students' Union: Trustees should not apply for a role whilst in their term of office.
