The role of the Learning & Development Officer is to provide a consistent and high level of both operational delivery and administrative support by updating training information and maintaining training systems and processes. In areas such as leadership development, performance management, apprenticeships, and supporting a full range of mandatory, technical and management development. This relates to staff, volunteers, trustees and agency and contractors.

This role involves a high level of operational delivery, administration and multitasking so the job holder needs to be confident in being able to organise and prioritise their time and work efficiently, effectively and independently in order to be able to respond to a variety of requests and demands.

Role Requirements

• Maintain efficient administration systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the training function with the wider Organisational Development Team.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries directed to the Learning & Development Team, providing information and assistance as needed
• Oversee the management of the team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries while taking ownership of all queries
• Process and oversee internal training bookings using Select HR (our HR System)
• Handle applications for external training, including organising payment and liaising with external trainers as necessary
• Manage all administrative tasks related to in-house training sessions, including generating delegate lists, preparing materials for trainers, and booking rooms, equipment, and catering as required
• Produce and distribute certificates for programme participants upon completion.
• Process invoices from external facilitators, including managing costings for other departments
• Organise & coordinate the training calendar for the following year by liaising with facilitators and colleagues and working with CET and Therapy teams
• Update schedules with changes/additions as they arise and inform training representatives and departments
• Planning and organising ‘ad hoc’ training sessions as and when required
• Prepare monthly induction programme including training memos, induction folders, session materials, catering requests & induction evaluations.
• Deliver brief Training session to new starters and help with tours where necessary
• Deliver appraisee training via teams
• Prepare for training sessions, including sending reminders, organising session materials, catering, room and equipment set up
• Create monthly training and PDR reports and chasing compliance where necessary working with line managers.
• Produce ‘due dates’ and other relevant training reports for managers as requested
• Deliver all training related activities for new starters.

This is a new role to sit in a fast paced and growing fundraising team.  Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy and Major Gifts Manager, this role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-level funders, develop compelling funding applications, support the stewardship of high-value funders, and ensure accurate reporting and data compliance.

The role supports the Senior Philanthropy and Major Gifts Manager in delivering the Trusts & Foundations strategy, maintaining fundraising processes, and identifying new funding opportunities, while contributing to the overall success of the fundraising department.

What would be my responsibilities as a Senior Philanthropy and Gifts Executive?

• Support delivery of the Trusts & Foundations strategy, including prospect research and pipeline development.
• Lead on mid‑level funding applications (£5k–£50k) and contribute to high‑value bids.
• Produce accurate impact and financial reports, coordinating information across care, finance and service teams.
• Manage and steward a portfolio of funders, ensuring personalised communication and strong relationships

• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance with GDPR and fundraising standards.

Am I the right person for this role?

• 2+ years in Trust & Foundation fundraising or equivalent bid‑writing role
• Proven experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising, bid‑writing, and securing 4‑figure+ grants.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with internal and external stakeholders, including donors.
• Excellent written communication and analytical ability, with confidence interpreting financial information.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively to a team.
• Knowledge of the UK Trusts & Foundations sector and experience using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).
• Collaborative and values‑driven approach, with willingness to support colleagues, mentor junior staff, and work flexibly (incl. occasional evenings/weekends).

At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre at 165 King’s Cross Road offers people a safe, supportive place to begin their journey away from the streets. With 16 beds and a short-stay model focused on planned moves within 28 days, this service is about momentum, opportunity and change. In this rewarding role, you’ll be the single point of contact for adult patients preparing for discharge from the hospital. You’ll work closely with the Adult Social Care team, health professionals, hospital practitioners, and community services to:

• Identify needs and barriers to safe discharge
• Achieve safe and timely patient discharge

• Provide clear, compassionate advice and support to patients and their families
• Ensure patients understand their discharge plan every step of the way.

You’ll meet with patients, their families, friends, or carers to assess ongoing needs, ensuring a safe plan is in place for their return home. This could include ensuring that medication is arranged from the hospital pharmacy, someone is at home to greet them, food and heating are available, and the condition of the home is safe to return to. You may be required to liaise with Adult Social Care and other home providers to coordinate home support. You’ll follow up on calls or visits to ensure the patient is managing well at home. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced.

Your work will involve maintaining and monitoring our existing HCT peer projects across London. This will involve providing support and supervision to existing staff, managing operational issues on a day-to-day basis and overseeing the management of separate projects. 

This post also involves regular liaison with external partners across the region, including key stakeholders such as Operational Delivery Network (ODN) managers for each area, alongside senior NHS colleagues, drug and alcohol services etc.

The post-holder will play a key role in managing specific programme and partnership activities in partnership countries such as the Gambia, Kenya and Sierra Leone as well as project management, monitoring and reporting for our cross-partnerships strategic project on strengthening health systems through strengthened postgraduate medical education of health worker.

You will be supporting leaders across a network of schools and a busy central Office. You will provide high-quality, customer-focused HR support, offering both operational and strategic guidance on a wide range of people matters. This includes advising on complex employee relations cases, coaching leaders to strengthen their people management capability, and supporting organisational change such as restructures and TUPE processes. You will work closely with HR colleagues across different functions to ensure consistency, share learning and promote best practice.

A key part of the role is building trusted relationships with Heads and Senior Leadership Teams. You'll act as a critical friend-balancing pragmatism with strong employment law expertise-to enable leaders to make confident, well-informed decisions. You will also contribute to wider people initiatives, including engagement activities, data reporting, policy development and continuous improvement projects.

To succeed, you will need a strong generalist background, ideally gained in a multi-site or complex organisation, with experience of managing difficult ER cases, operating in a unionised environment and partnering senior stakeholders. You'll be comfortable switching between operational detail and strategic thinking, with strong influencing skills and the confidence to work independently. Part-CIPD qualification (or comparable experience) is essential, and full CIPD qualification is an advantage. Experience in the education sector, and skills in training design, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing or HR data analysis, would also be beneficial.

Transparency International (UK) is looking for an Advocacy Officer

You will be responsible for providing advocacy support to the UK Team, including by drafting and delivering high-level communications, participating in meetings with key stakeholders, and contributing to the planning and implementation of advocacy projects in relation to established objectives.

The Advocacy Officer will report to the Senior Policy Manager - Westminster and perform this within the UK Programme.

Main responsibilities

• Provide advocacy support to the UK Team to produce real-world change, including by drafting and delivering high-level communications (written and oral policy briefings, letters, blogs etc.) and participating effectively in meetings with key stakeholders (MPs, councillors, government officials, private sector allies, civil society colleagues etc.)

• Contribute to the planning and implementation of advocacy projects and events in relation to established objectives.

• Stay abreast of policy developments, news stories, political developments and new research in relation to our work, identifying possible advocacy opportunities for the team.

• Build and maintain positive and fruitful relationships with key stakeholders such as civil society and other partners, parliamentarians and government officials.

• Provide ad hoc programme support where needed, which may include providing administrative and logistic support in organising, planning, recording and coordinating meetings, providing follow-up support, as well as collecting monitoring, evaluation and learning data

• Contribute to the UK Team’s event planning and delivery, providing logistical support
