What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for leading and developing a portfolio of fundraising products, ensuring they continue to meet supporter needs while delivering strong and sustainable income performance. Using audience insight, market intelligence and sector trends, you'll identify opportunities to enhance existing products and develop new propositions that inspire support.
You'll monitor performance against agreed objectives, use data and analysis to inform decision-making, and evaluate results to identify future opportunities for growth. Working with a range of stakeholders, you'll help ensure fundraising products support wider organisational priorities and are positioned effectively for their target audiences. You'll also contribute to business planning and budgeting activities, oversee product-related income performance and ensure activity is delivered in line with relevant regulations, legislation and data requirements.

Overall purpose of role
As WeProtect Global Alliance Fundraising and Grants Manager,you will:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a multi-donor grant portfolio (restricted and unrestricted) to ensure donor obligations are met in full and on time.
- Optimise and maintain grants management systems (calendars, trackers, templates, CRM, workflows) proportionate to a small organisation operating at global scale.
- Produce and co-ordinate high-quality donor reporting and contribute to renewal and proposal development, working closely with the Head of Development and collaborating with the Deputy Head of Operations and Finance, as well as colleagues in the Strategy and Members teams.
- Ensure and strengthen donor compliance, due diligence, and data assurance across the grant lifecycle in line with donor requirements, relevant regulations (including UK and EU), and best practice standards (including GDPR).
- Support the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance with grant budgets, forecasts and pipeline, supporting decision-making by the Executive Team and Board.
Key responsibilities
Portfolio ownership & planning
- Maintain a live grants calendar covering deliverables, reports, payments, audits and evaluations; ensure all internal and donor deadlines are met.
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned donors on contractual, reporting, and routine relationship matters, escalating strategically as needed.
Reporting & stewardship

The role will require travel throughout the UK to maximise engagement opportunities with supporters and income generation. Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for a Support Group Co-ordinator who will deliver the Myeloma UK Support Group Partnership programme in line with the organisation’s overall strategy.
You will have experience of working with support groups and/or volunteer networks as well as recruiting, training, managing and supervising a diverse range of staff or volunteers. The post holder will need to show clear evidence of relationship building and working with underrepresented groups. A key part of the role is understanding the needs of cancer patients and their families and of health inequalities.
You’ll have excellent relationship building skills and an understanding of the barriers that exist in accessing support. You will need the ability to set priorities, work under pressure with great attention to detail and understand and meet the training and development needs of volunteers. Experience of working with haematology or oncology patients and working with a database would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
The Support Group Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact within the organisation for all Support Group enquiries. You will coordinate the Support Groups Partnership Programme activity, including developing and promotion of the existing Myeloma Support Groups and coordinate the recruitment, induction and ongoing support of new local groups to the Support Groups Partnership Programme

Are you an experienced fundraising compliance professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic plans, along with creating supporting policies, processes, and training programs?
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Support and Governance, the role works alongside the Fundraising Supporter Services and Standards Manager, Retail Operations Manager and Retail Support & Projects Manager.
The Commercial Directorate incorporates Fundraising and Retail Operations alongside other Commercial activities such as the International Learning Academy at Sue Ryder. The role will focus predominantly on fundraising operations compliance and provide leadership and assurance guidance for other commercial operations.
You will lead the development and implementation of a compliance framework across all fundraising operations at Sue Ryder which includes, maintaining awareness of external legal and regulatory requirements, engaging stakeholders to review and update policies, work with subject matter experts to create compliance processes and training.
You will also build and maintain reporting and other mechanisms which clearly identify where assurance is available or where not, providing leaders with data to focus on improving compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the compliance framework, which includes creating an audit and assurance program for Fundraising, leading on audits where applicable.

- Proven experience of creating and reviewing policies and guidance in a fundraising or retail environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trusts and grants fundraiser to lead the Charity's trusts, grants and foundations strategy. The role aims to secure multi-year four, five and six-figure grants and build a reliable, sustainable income stream. The successful candidate will bring significant experience of securing and managing substantial trust/foundation and/or statutory income, with a demonstrable track record of delivering against annual targets and building a healthy pipeline. You'll be confident working independently and proactively, able to develop strong cross-organisational relationships, and comfortable picking up the phone to develop new funder relationships. You'll also have experience working with budgets and financial targets, strong organisational skills, and a highly professional approach aligned with the Charity's values and commitment to inclusive practice.
