Job description

Mosaic is seeking a Head of Finance and Fundraising who can help this highly effective charity fulfil its mission to improve the lives of children and young people who are struggling with their grief following a bereavement.

This role is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the CEO and Trustees to deliver the organisation’s ambitious strategy to 2030.  It holds strategic and operational responsibility for growing and diversifying income, building strong partnerships and ensuring that the charity remains on a sure and sustainable footing in order to deliver our mission.

Your work will contribute insight to the way we make decisions, to our culture and to help more families than ever when a child or young person faces a bereavement.  The charity offers specialist counselling to more than 400 children and young people every year, and provides activities and cafes across the county to make sure they have peer support and help at the point when they most need it.

This role will work with our Finance Officer and our Fundraising Co-ordinator, as part of a small and busy team which works with volunteers and counsellors.  There will be lots of opportunities to develop partnerships with businesses, communities and funders who want to help us make a difference to the Dorset community.

Please have a look at the job description, as well as our strategy and our Annual Report and Accounts.  Please contact us if you have any questions, and if you are interested, send us your CV and a cover letter explaining why you want the role and how you think you would be suitable for it.

We are really looking forward to hearing from you,

  Jo Revill, CEO.
