Kapella’s mission is to build better relationships and improve the wellbeing of families and individuals. We provide accessible and affordable services, including counselling, family mediation, training and domestic abuse programmes across Birmingham, the Black Country and the wider Midlands area. Our work includes self-paying clients as well as funded projects delivered through contracts, grants and partnerships.
We are looking for an Administration and Operations Manager to lead and strengthen the day to day operations that underpin our services and help us prepare for our next phase of development. Working closely with the CEO and service managers, you will oversee the running of the organisation across our two main premises and other community venues, as well as manage the administration and appointments functions. We are entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking to expand our services and extend our reach across Birmingham, the Black Country and surrounding areas. This new role is central to these plans.
Initially, the role will be hands-on, with responsibility for recruiting and training additional administrative staff, fully opening our main premises and moving to a hybrid model of online and face-to-face counselling. You will also support the implementation of new online appointment and case management systems as well as updated policies and procedures.
As we grow there is significant opportunity for development, allowing you to contribute to how our services are delivered, strengthen our team and help us meet the increasing need for our services.

Chief Executive
Transplant Links
£75,000 FTE
Remote, UK based
This is an opportunity to lead a small, specialist organisation with international reach and tangible human impact. Working with a committed staff team and an exceptional network of NHS clinical volunteers, you will build on strong foundations while helping Transplant Links become more ambitious, sustainable and influential.
You will work with the Board to shape and deliver our strategy, lead and develop the organisation, strengthen our partnerships and profile and, importantly, grow and diversify our income. Developing a more consistent and sustainable funding base will be central to our next chapter.
This is a genuinely hands-on CEO role. We are looking for someone who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial organisation and is comfortable moving between the strategic and practical. You might be working with Trustees on future direction, developing a funding relationship, building an international partnership or helping colleagues resolve an operational challenge. You will enjoy being close to the work, taking ownership and making things happen.
You may already be a CEO or be a senior leader ready to take that step. More important than title is your ability to combine strategic judgement, strong relationship-building and an entrepreneurial approach. You will bring leadership experience alongside a demonstrable ability to generate income, develop partnerships and make a compelling case for support.
You do not need to be a clinician, but you will need the curiosity and credibility to work effectively with medical professionals and international partners, and respect for the expertise and voluntary contribution on which our work depends. Above all, we are looking for someone who is ambitious for our impact rather than the size of the organisation, a collaborative, resourceful and resilient leader who can see what is possible and help us make it happen.
Closing: 18 October 2026

The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is seeking to engage an experienced Learning and Engagement Consultant to support their project Preserving Jewish Heritage, Promoting the Hidden Jewish Story in the year-long Development Phase of its project and for the first six months (of a five-year programme) of the Delivery Phase of the project. The Consultant will support and advise the Synagogues in this first pilot on activities/outreach and education, ultimately creating a framework for future use as a core part of this programme. The role will report to the Project Development Officer. The Project Development Officer is currently being recruited and will be responsible for the set up and day to day running of the project.
The Foundation’s work to date has demonstrated a significant gap in provision for historic synagogues. There is a clear need for a more defined and comprehensive support function for the UK synagogues sector: one that offers a professional, accessible and user-friendly service; guides and empowers synagogue communities; helps ensure synagogue buildings are well maintained, resilient and future-proofed, including in response to the climate emergency; and supports synagogues to engage more effectively with wider society. This project aims to address that gap.
The Delivery Phase project is subject to a successful funding application to NLHF and there will be a break clause between the Development and Delivery Phases.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
