About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to

About the opportunity

We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training. 

To achieve this, we are looking for a candidate with experience teaching either English or maths (or equivalent) with a willingness to quickly understand the curriculum requirements in the other subject. You will have a strong understanding of how to set the standard for excellent tutor training and tutor quality assurance, using your educational expertise to shape effective training and quality assurance frameworks that enable tutors of varying experience levels to flourish. Main responsibilities

Essential Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who is/has:

• Educated to degree level with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core national curriculum subjects.
• Strong subject knowledge in either English or maths; with a proven willingness and ability to quickly grasp the curriculum and exam specification requirements of the other subject.

The Purpose of the Role
The Social Media Content Producer will focus on developing creative content that drives reach and engagement across social channels. Working on integrated campaigns while also driving evergreen pipelines, they will be help deliver on our UK ambitions to position IRC as the go-to humanitarian NGO protecting people forced to flee conflict and crisis. 

The Social Media Content Producer will produce and disseminate compelling content (with a focus on short-form, straight-to-social videos and other multimedia formats) that will grow the IRC’s brand online, engage a loyal following, and ultimately help encourage audiences to support IRC UK’s work.  

The role sits across our key social channels, including both B2C (Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook and TikTok) and B2B (LinkedIn), helping managing what we publish and when. As part of IRC’s Global Digital Engagement team, they will work with multiple collaborators, across markets, to identify, craft, package up, publish and amplify stories that can live across platforms, with real potential to engage the right people at the right time. 

The ideal candidate thrives in storytelling that drives social engagement. They will bring a deep understanding of what makes content perform—while still staying true to IRC’s core mission and values—and an appetite for proactively staying across cultural moments and social innovations.

They will have experience generating social-first ideas, editing social video, graphics, and copy writing for social. Reporting, optimizing, learning and innovating (10%) 
•  Support the Senior Manager – Digital Engagement to report on the performance of social content and make recommendations on how we might optimise going forwards.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

Role description

The applicant will be expected to take on a variety of responsibilities associated with supporting our national membership of PSHE education teachers and other professionals. Terms of Reference

The post is offered on a full time basis, on a permanent contract with a six-month probationary period. The salary will be £28,500.

At the PSHE Association, we believe in a healthy work-life balance. That is why we offer a nine-day fortnight working pattern, giving our team every other Friday off (in other words a long weekend twice a month). As the Head of Philanthropy, you will inherit a successful philanthropy area of fundraising for the organisation and will lead the team in securing major gifts and multi-year commitments across the individuals and trusts & foundations income streams. The postholder will join and at a brilliant moment of momentum for the organisation to secure income across the 2030 strategy period.  The Head of Philanthropy will also work closely with the Director of Development to ensure gold-standard stewardship for our high-value donors, coaching and developing line reports to ensure income generation targets are met across trusts, foundations, and individual donor income streams.

To be successful as the Head of Philanthropy will be an experienced leader and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking and ingrained knowledge of how to secure and steward HNWIs and trusts & foundations. This will ideally have been done at the six-figures-plus level and you will have significant experience in working with senior leaders and volunteers to cultivate meaningful relationships, steward HNWI, trusts, and foundations, and deliver robust prospect pipelines.

This role is a maternity cover contract position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week, for up to 14 months. The salary for this role is £60,000 to £72,000.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will act as a vital strategic partner to the institutes core international research programmes (covering Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East). This is not a traditional back-office accounting role; you will actively bridge the gap between central finance and research directors, driving a culture of financial accountability and empowering non-financial stakeholders to make data-driven strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnering: Build trusted relationships with budget holders and research colleagues, providing commercial acumen, financial insights, and expert analysis to improve financial performance. 

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and management reporting for dedicated programmes.

Essential Criteria: 

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Background within either external audit or a Business Partnering role within a similar organisation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial metrics into clear, concise, and accessible insights for diverse, non-financial audiences.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior IT Technician to oversee IT support services and project-related activities across a number of our successful secondary academies in Greenwich, Bexley, Thurrock and Havering.

As a roaming technician, you will provide flexible support to cover short-term absences, vacancies, or to offer additional assistance as needed. This approach ensures the continued delivery of high-quality, ITIL-aligned IT services to our customers.

You will be providing support to Harris Academy Falconwood, Harris Academy Greenwich, Harris Academy Riverside, Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Rainham Sixth Form, Harris Academy Chafford Hundred, and Harris Academy Ockendon.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality technical IT support, advice and guidance to staff, students and head office employees where necessary
• Ensuring IT Support needs are logged appropriately on the Service Management system, retaining ownership of IT support tickets and ensuring users are kept updated
• Ensuring that IT support tickets are resolved within the target resolution time
• Re-routing and/or escalting IT support tickets to the appropriate team as necessary
• Identifying, implementing and documenting workarounds for desktop related problems within the Knowledgebase.
• Identifying recurring IT incidents and performing root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause
• Notifying key contacts within the Federation and Academies under your care on detection of a major incident affecting the service or our ability to deliver a service
