Job description

At the Architects Benevolent Society, we're ambitious about reaching more people who need our support and inspiring more people to champion our cause.

We're looking for an energetic Fundraising & Engagement Manager to lead our fundraising activity, grow income and strengthen relationships across the architectural community. You'll work with supporters, volunteer ambassadors, employers and industry partners to raise awareness of ABS, increase engagement, and drive income to ensure more people can benefit from our services.

This is a chance to take ownership of a broad and rewarding role, combining fundraising, engagement, partnerships and communications to deliver real impact.

If you're passionate about building relationships and turning support into lasting change, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Architects Benevolent Society

The Architects Benevolent Society has been supporting members of the architectural community since 1850. We help individuals and families navigate life's challenges by providing financial assistance, wellbeing support and access to practical advice and resources.

As an independent charity, we are proud of our long history, but our focus is firmly on the future: raising awareness of the support available, engaging more supporters and employers, and ensuring that everyone in the architectural community knows where to turn when they need help.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a confident relationship-builder and fundraiser who is passionate about making a difference. You'll be equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver campaigns and events that inspire support and generate income.

You'll enjoy connecting with people, whether that's supporters, volunteers or employers, and be skilled at building lasting relationships that strengthen engagement with ABS. Organised, proactive and self-motivated, you'll have a track record of achieving results and spotting new opportunities for growth.

Most importantly, you'll share our ambition to raise awareness of ABS, reach more people who could benefit from our support, and ensure our charity continues to thrive for generations to come.

What we offer

A competitive salary, generous annual leave, pension, hybrid working, life assurance and an income protection scheme.
