About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead the operations team, join the management team and support the CEO. Your priorities will be to oversee all fundraising, including campaigns, major donors and grant applications. You will oversee the HR of the organisation, including recruitment and disciplinaries. In partnership with the CEO and finance officer you will be jointly responsible for finance within the organisation. Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness services. About the job - An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supported housing services in Wandsworth.The service has 30 units of accommodation across 5 sites. This role will operate across our various levels of supported housing, including a flexible threshold unit that adopts a harm reduction approach with flexible tolerance toward drug use.
You will be part of a team providing support to the residents in the service and will be required to work on a rota basis that includes every other weekend. The service is set up to support residents to stabilise their substance use, focusing on harm reduction whilst improving independent living skills and achieving their individual goals. As a keyworker, you would keywork not less than 2 residents, providing support and advice through regular planned keywork sessions. In addition, you would work closely with our partner organisations to ensure that the residents receive support tailored to their needs. You would also contribute to the running of in-house groups and sessions, as well as external activities and days out,
You will receive on the job training and support, as well as access to a wide range of learning opportunities, both from Cranstoun and partner organisations. We are looking for people with experience of providing support to people with multiple disadvantages, experience of working in a supported housing setting would also be advantageous. About the Patient Support Service
The Patient Support Service provides practical, emotional and financial support for anyone affected by chronic kidney disease. Whatever the need presented, we empower people living with CKD and their families and carers to understand their options and make informed choices to positively navigate their experience of CKD. We’ll walk alongside them for as long as they need us to.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and inspirational individual to lead our Patient Support service across Scotland & Northern Ireland. You and your team will reach kidney patients at their point of need and ensure they are supported or signposted to the services that will improve their wellbeing and maximise outcomes in line with the objectives of the service as directed by the Programme Manager/Head of Service.
Alongside our other Regional Managers, you will be the national face of Kidney Care UK patient support services, raising awareness of the service and the Charity and building strong relationships with the kidney patients, renal units, Kidney Patient Associations (KPAs), health professionals and other kidney stakeholder groups in your regions.
